We went to Kohl's for their Clearance items, clean environment, and convenient restroom. I went to the Sephora department and found the product that Alyssa Liu uses from the Rare Beauty line. Yay! Typically the only reason I go to Kohl's is when a great sale online catches my attention and I do an in store pick up. It's not the type of store I visit to browse, see what's available, and make a purchase like I do at Marshall's or Macy's. There just aren't enough items that match my fashion or home style plus the prices are higher than the quality. Kitchen appliances are a different story. Often when I am seeking an item and do a search for best price, Kohl's ranks up at the top. Even better than Amazon at times. Case in point, I wanted the NutriBullet 900 and Kohl's had the best price around so I purchased online, using coupons found online, and did an in store pick up to avoid the shipping cost. I'm recovering from a major surgery and couldn't find a friend to pick up the item. I called customer service and explained the situation, said I could drive myself there but it would be a struggle for me to get out of my car and walk inside to retrieve the item since I'm using a walker. Delora was wonderful! She told me to call the store when I arrived and someone would deliver the item to my car, not something they typically do as their pick ups are in store. I was so grateful! What is the point of Kohl's anymore? It used to be my favorite clothing store. Now all my favorite brands have started making ugly clothes, and even when I do find something to buy, I have to deal with a really uncomfortable sales pitch for their credit card at the counter. This time, I had a couple of coupons, spent about an hour shopping around to find something I actually wanted to buy, only to find the small print on the coupons made them unusable for what I picked. Honestly, what is the point of coupons that you have to read like a contract? It makes the whole experience so awkward and frustrating when you get to the counter after an hour of shopping to be told you can't use the coupons you came in to use. I ended up spending $95, and they couldn't give me the 10% off? Come on. How miserly. The only reason to go here is to return Amazon items. No wonder the store is dead every time I go in. read more

Yeah so when I usually go to Kohl's, I am usually returning an Amazon item. Today when i entered the store i headed to the back assuming the same. There was a really long line and only one employee working the table, so I took a pic and sent it to "the boss" to let her know it might be a while. Her reply? "it's a Kohl's return, you are in the wrong line." Took me a couple seconds to process (man brain), but I figured out and took to the front of store. Went in today to use a family members kohls card to buy a bunch of things, and I was denied because my name wasn't on the card. I tried to show my ID to show our last names matched, but they didn't care. I've done this at least 10 times, and there's been no issue, so either the entire staff is incompetent, or this person was profiling me as a criminal who steals kohl's cards (hilarious premise). This is my go to spot for grabbing clothes because it is just super inexpensive. Wait for the coupons and use them wisely. I'm assuming they make their money on the bulk they sell because most of what I buy I could not buy the fabric for the prices! Its crazy.... Sluggish service ! I went to pick my online order , the line was not that long but the service women took forever to move the line. finally my turn came , and i am supposed to pick 3 items on a single order, she spent like 10 mins looking for the item and said only 1 is available, other 2 is missing, she called someone and asked them to look for , Then another wait of 20 mins and she came with next item and said 3rd one is missing. They said only option is to go back and wait for it to show up to them, then she went to look for it again and took another 15 mins and came with the third item. We usually go to the Kohl's in Clackamas. However, we were in Beaverton for the day and stopped by this location. I was surprised at how much a location could differ from another. Try as we might, we were unable to even find anyone who worked there to ask them where to drop off an Amazon return. We ended up walking around the store aimlessly until we happen to stumble upon it. The signage was nonexistent. Upon leaving, it also looked as if there was A line over a dozen people along with only two registers opened. Pick up orders got cancelled. Came in and my items were there so I ended up grabbing them to just purchase myself. I also had two kohl's cash promos from Amazon returns (done different days a week apart) and cashier told me I can't use both in one day (even doing seperate transactions on different items). No where on the kohl's cash print out does it state this. The cashier and another associate were arguing with me about it when all I did was ask where it says this? Because if they're telling me it's not allowed for something but no where on the fine print does it say this how am I supposed to know? They don't need to get snippy about it. I've used both numerous times before (when my mom and I both had ones and combined them and when I also had two done from different times). I asked them to show me where it says I can only use one A DAY and neither could find where it says this, yet said the manager at this store won't let them and that I would have to come back tomorrow to use it. Even if I bought two separate things and did two transactions that I could only use one per day... Disappointed in how they argued with me but couldn't show me anything where this "rule" is stated? I purchased a free country coat last fall. l wore it a few times up to the snow. This year I went to wear it and the seam ripped under the arm . I attempted to return this $180 dollar jacket and they wanted to give me only $18. A jacket should last more than one season and worn for only 2 times up to the snow. I recommend not buying any coats from Kohl's. I even purchased on a Kohls card which they stated they couldn't find. From now on i will buy my gear from REI. The clerks are not very customer service oriented either. All I was looking to do was swap the coat across for another similar coat same cost. read more

This was a one-star review, but Javi (Jari) in the make-up section made me the happiest customer and got me back in the store even after the hideous experience I had while there. Sonja helped everyone stay calm at the front CS desk and these two employees DESERVE recognition! Anna was rude and condescending to a non-English native for over 20 mins. It actually interrupted our shopping experience because we wondered if someone needed help. It came off as a possible abusive type situation, but no. It was a manager, Anna yelling. Loudly. The gals at the front were professional and kept the moment light with small talk and being so very polite. We kept on shopping and I had to use the bathroom. There was poop on the door. Literally. I went to tell a gal, and she could care less but said, "ok". I went back to use it an hour later, I couldn't hold it any longer, and IT.WAS.STILL.THERE. As we walked up to check out and do the return we heard the yelling again. It was still going on. We're at about 20 mins total now. Anna never once offered to get another manager to help or do anything to help, she just kept on arguing. This woman cried and asked why she was being so mean to her and if she could call the 'credit office'. There was an issue with her Kohls card and payment. It was disgusting to witness. I finally spoke up. Anna was the same with me, telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and to 'mind my own business'. I asked why another manager wasn't helping and requested on, her reply, "I AM the only one here. I'm it. I'm in charge." It was rude and if I hadn't needed this return for a work shirt so badly I'd had left. Arguing with Anna proved to do nothing. I stopped and finshed the return and left. I called Kohl's and spoke with someone and am leaving this review as well. Hillsboro Khol's is our spot now. It's a longer drive, but it's worth it. read more

I've been going here since they opened. I don't believe I've ever bought anything that wasn't from the clearance rack. If on clearance rack totally worth it, otherwise expensive and not really good quality. As in clothing will wear faster than other places I buy clothes at. It's always chaotic and the clothes racks feel jammed and messy. But to find cute cheap clothes to wear a bit before they die worth it. I would never buy something real here, like a jacket, shoes, brah, things actually depend on. Never bought appliances, towels, sheets, luggage. Again I still go when ready to put up with chaos and crammed stuff to peek at clearance clothes and leave. read more

I've been an occasional customer at Kohls. Fairly neutral of the store. Last December I slipped and fell at Kohls on Canyon on the very slippery tiles after wiping my boots off. I wiped my boots off ridiculously well not wanting to track water through the store, but even more, not wanting to slip. Sure enough, I slipped. There was standing water on the floor. Ended up fracturing my wrist. The Manager suggested after falling that I dry my boots off.......imagine that. Kohls have been HORRIBLE in communication with me on this. Absolutely Horrible. Fan of this place from previous visits. I like their Daisy Fuentes Trousers, they fit me well and are priced right. Took me awhile to locate her brand, but I didn't mind browsing other racks for deals - and reg. merch. Found three items and then had to leave quickly to return a work call. Not as inexpensive as I remember. It's not that I wouldn't return again----the items I chose were on sale but I think they were overpriced already. Cute slacks, A nice transitional fleece coat, & a random decorative tank top. $109.99. Happy with items, but no steals for me today. Annoyed a bit by clerks who ask if I want to sign up for credit card. I replied no once, they have to give all these features and ask again....? I just don't know about Kohl's. I very rarely come here. My mom was visiting from California and she had some "Kohl's cash" and was excited that there is no sales tax here in Oregon, so I drover her to Kohl's. I got a cute pair of J-LO jeans!! But that's about it...the junior clothes are super cute, but i'm a grown ass adult and probably shouldn't be wearing anything from that section of the store anyway. I think the best time to come is when you have coupons or that Kohl's cash crap. The prices are OK, its just the selection of clothing that sucks. read more

Very disorganized. We were sent here looking for a specific product being told they have a better selection. While they did have a better selection, that was not the problem. When we found it, there was a sale sign that said 15% off all of that product. As we looked around for other items we found a rack that said 50% off all items on that rack. When we checked out it rang up at full price. I told them about the 50% off and they wanted to see it as she thought someone might have put it on there and it wasn't supposed to be there. I took her over and showed her the 15-20 of that item on the shelf and she proceeded to tell me that it was the other side that was on sale and she pulled the sign off in front of me. Still wanting to charge full price, I took her over to the 15% off sign. After going back up to the register, she had to call a supervisor as it was still ringing up full price. Even the supervisor didn't seem to believe the discount since it wasn't ringing up that way. Probably won't go back to this one! read more

I've been here a few times. It reminds me of Meier and Frank where the retail price is very expensive and the they mark it down 40% to where the price should be. Went tonight to buy a euro lounger and desk chairs. I was ready to spend around $350. Although they had the euro lounger on the floor they were out of stock according to the help I didn't trust knew what was going on. Went to customer service which looked more like it should be called help yourself. The lady's response to me not being to locate the item at the "kiosk" was I can only search the same thing as the kiosk. Thanks for the effort! I really appreciate Kohl's unconditional guarantee. If I don't like a product, they will accept returns/exchanges. They also have Electric Vehicle chargers, which is great! I often come in here on my lunch break to make spontaneous purchases. I get the checkout to make my purchase and my drivers lisence sticker wouldn't scan. The manager wanted to peel the sticker off to scan it. She said she would try not to rip ot but no promises. Apparently they can not type in my number any longer and the only option is to potential rip the sticker on my license. Ive been a Kohls shopper for years and have never had a problem. I have shopped here a few times. Several months back, I found an activewear item that I really liked, so I went again last night hoping to find it again and to do some other shopping. Firstly, their clothes are generally pretty poor quality. I've noticed that most of the basic items just don't hold up very well after a couple washes. They do have some higher-end lines that seem a little more durable though, and to their credit, I have a wool coat I found there last fall by their brand "Apt. 9" that has outlived my H&M coat by a pretty long stretch. Mainly, I don't like the experience of shopping at this store. It seems like the music isn't on very much of the time, which surprisingly can really affect a person's comfort when shopping there. (Maybe when it's silent and no one's around, you get the sense that they're closing or something, and just want to hurry up and get out.) Also, this time when I went, their activewear selection was extremely limited. Just a nook by the front door. The rest was scattered around clearance. Speaking of clearance, the clearance section is impossible to navigate. Both times I've been here, there have a TON of clothes on clearance, but the endless array of rack after rack of these items is so disorganized, you just can't make your way through it if you're looking for any type of thing in particular. Or even just something in your size. It's just all over the place. In the end, I left the store tired and empty-handed after at least 45 minutes of searching, and went over to Target, where I found most of what I'd been looking for. read more

I wanted to buy 4 Levi's jeans there was a deal saying 49.99$ plus buy 1 get another for 1 $ when I went to check out , the associate accepted it was their mistake and have to 'trick the computer'(this was the associates words)also asked other associates why the tag still there. And then denied to give that offer saying i can not give you this deal . You have to pay 69.99$ for first pair and 1$ for another pair. Or you can pay 49.99$ each pair. Then we asked her there are similar tags for other clothes as well lets see if that works first she said okay then again said no even if that price takes that offer I can't give you this offer. The whole thing made me rethink on my purchase and I ended up purchasing just 2 pairs. And other thing is that I myself have worked at kohls as an associate and have seen giving customer promised deal in such scenarios. Bought a pair of diamond earrings on a screaming deal. Went to put them on and the backs would not hold. Now keep in mind the original price was over a thousand dollars. Went back to the store and talked to the manager of jewelry. Our options were order them online, paying full price, them they could mail them to us...ya no. Not with porch pirates..2 ND option go to another Khols which was at least 1 hour way. Asked if they could get those earrings from that store and have them delivered to the store we were at...nope not an option. Lesson learned buy from a jewelry store and pay the extra.. read more
