What a beautiful store, inside and out! The stone and arches of the storefront caught my attention, so different from the cookie cutter storefronts of all the other clothing stores in the mall. I had to know what was inside! The inside is just as gorgeous! Light hardwood floors, open beams with stylish hanging lights and lots of faux trailing plants everywhere. In one area near the back, there are hundreds of purple butterflies hanging amongst pendent lights. Make sure to look up so up you don't miss anything! The store is large but it's organized in sections with collections of items thoughtfully arranged, creating little vignettes that grab your attention. Jewelry, handbags, scarves, hair accessories, books, lotions and creams, and lots and lots of clothing. The dressing room area is absolutely stunning! Huge crystal chandeliers hang from a Renaissance style inlaid carved ceiling. Large round velvet settees and pillows add to the romantic ambiance. The dressing rooms are spacious, with a carved mirror hanging on a brick wall and mini chandeliers. Can I move in? Don't forget to check out the sale room in the back loaded with all sorts of items ranging from clothing, scarves, ornaments, shoes, throws and more. I found the most comfortable gray cotton lounge pants that get softer with every wash. For $19, I wish I had bought two! There was a basket of winter infinity scarves for $3.50 each. Crazy, right? I bought two for me and several for my friends. In all, I really like this store and will definitely stop in any time I'm at Washington Square. It's just a pleasure to explore and shop here. The one disappointment, and the reason for 4 stars, is the sparse availability of clothing in a size large, and no x-large anywhere. Such a surprise in these times when there is such a push for inclusivity.

Environment: Super nice! Like, Wow! They put a lot of time in decorating it. Super bright with lots of wonderful decorations. Make sure to look up and around! Staff: Super friendly and welcomed us with warm smiles and told us what was on sale with a little sheet. I wanted to support and buy because they're-faith based. I wanted to buy all their little decorations with Bible verses and their clothing were very nice and stylish. I am not giving it 5 stars because it's too expensive. I would love to buy the clothing but...for a simple t-shirt, it already costs a lot. I know the money will go to a good cause such as for kids, families, etc. but ...I just can't...I guess I'll have to save up ^^ I also enjoyed the background music as I was walking around I was singing and praising :) I hope this store will stay strong!

    Hat delivery!

I would definitely go to this store to find a pretty dress, and it's a bonus that they play Christian music in the background.

I have never seen anything like it and genuinely, if your are like me and like to keep a pear, a few apples and an orange on hand but want them to last - this is not only amazing looking but perfect!! I did purchase a few smaller items. The first was a felt coaster which is so perfect! They have an array of different colors - my choice was a gorgeous burgundy and I loved being able to buy just one. I have coasters for guests which is a whole set but for my daily iced drink covered in condensation, this is so perfect. The card says they are made in Germany by a company called Parkhaus and how to care for and clean the coaster. The other item was a greeting card which I intend to frame. Vancouver Washington artist Claudia Moore makes the cards with foraged leaves and seeds. This is a great spot if you are looking for something unique as a gift or for your home. They also have some very nice cleaning solutions and bath products. There is a well thought, small selection of purses and bags.

Clothing is high quality and so expect the price tag to reflect that. They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand reams and candles that smell so good! The other day I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth! Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I like about adorn most is that they have a variety of styles because they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes! I try to stop in several times a year to see what's new, when I need a special outfit or a gift for a friend. This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. They have several locations (downtown, SE Clinton) and it's worth visiting them all!

A fabulous boutique like one you would find in NYC or San Francisco, not typically in Portland…read more The clothing and accessories are carefully curated, bringing together a refined collection of high quality items in shades of black, cream, gray, camel and white. The prices are in the high side, especially for Portland, but a cashmere cardigan for $400 is the going rate. The boutique is bright, clean and has an industrial vibe. It's easy to browse through the racks of clothing which line the parameter on racks in a color coordinated fashion. The cashmere dresses are scrumptious! Beautiful in color, texture and style; refined elegance, classic, timeless. Even cashmere loungewear, perfect for staying comfy and warm during these long days spent at home. Kayla, the young woman working that day, was super helpful and pleasant. She easily engages in conversation and provides assistance, if that is your mode of shopping. And also gives one the freedom to browse at their leisure with no pressure to purchase, which is my preference. We visited on MLK Day and were there specifically to see what Oliveve handbags were available since I had recently come across this brand while shopping at the House of Lolo in Palm Desert. Kayla immediately recognized my Jasper bag! The Oliveve bags have a modern design, clean lines, and my bag is made of neutral colored pebbled leather. It's the perfect bag to use while shopping as it is a cross body style yet as large as a tote and holds a lot. That day there was only one Olivevebag available, a black handbag with tan wrapped handles, and my friend immediately claimed it! I'll have to go online (Oliveve.com) to buy my next one, the black oiled Italian leather Eva bag, which I've had my eye on for a few months. In addition to the clothing, they have a small selection of unique jewelry and other accessories like boots, tassels to add to your handbags, hats, belts and scarves. Even a small but unique selection of home decor items like textured throws, pillows, candles, woven baskets and trays, perfume and vases.p to adorn your home. Located on NW 11th in The Pearl District, it's around the corner from the main shopping area so unless you know it's there, you may not stumble upon it. It's worth seeking out if you want to add quality clothing to your wardrobe that you can wear season after season. And while you are there, definitely check out the jewelry, boots and the Oliveve handbags!

There really is not that much to choose from as the theme here is obviously minimalist. The few things they do have are lovely and for me, priced completely unreasonably. Like I am going to spend almost $1000 on a wool trench coat with some leather trim? Sure, it's a sharp looking coat. But good God, I know we are in the Pearl but is anyone going to spend that much? Maybe I am just not hip with the times and people really do spend that kind of money on a random coat, if so, I beg your pardon. It would be cool if your shop had goods that "normal" people like me, I know I am throwing the term normal around quite loosely but folks probably get my gist. My budget for a really nice and very unique coat is more like $500.00 Unless you are selling Versace or something, consider rethinking your price points. It's just that I see so many shops like this come and go because nobody is going to really shop there. 2015 - Review # 98
