Ordered my SB dunks online. They were Men's size 14 and they shoved it in their tiny Tactics shipping box. It seems as though they forced them to fit on their shipping box. The shoe's box lid came ripped both sides. This is the second time I ordered from you and this happened both times. If you are gonna charge shipping please do it right. read more

I'm from Los Angeles and normally make my purchase's online from Tactics and found myself in Portland, OR with no freaking belt because I forgot to pack one. We CANNOT thank Kevin enough for helping us girls from Oahu, HI on getting my teen girl set up with her 1st skateboard. Do we have skate shops in Hawaii? Yeah, but they are like Zumiez or another shop like Billabong that's mixed in with other things like clothes and very few options of boards .We have more surf shops than expertly crafted skateboards. Kevin patiently went over her experience, if it was more for cruising or tricks and based on being a novice, the size that would be suitable for her. He let her try different sizes as well. She got to pick out her design (god bless him she looked at a lot) and he went over piece by piece all the hardware she would need. He never tried to upsell anything. He was conscientious on price and gave ranges and explanation as to cost factors. He then built it for her in about 15 minutes. All in all it was much cheaper than this island girl thought it would be and she left thoroughly excited with it. Since we are visiting here from Hawaii, she even practiced it in the hotel room. The store was not busy for a Sunday morning and there were other staff ready and available to assist. I highly recommend this skate shop for all your skate needs and see Kevin. Thoroughly knowledgeable and super patient without trying to "make a sale". We will definitely spread the word and we will surely come back on a future trip. read more

I stopped in to buy a skateboard for a friend and had a really positive experience with their staff. Kevin helped me pick out a set-up that would be appropriate for the nuanced type of skating my friend is into, and I appreciated his attention to detail. He has a wealth of skate knowledge and a super friendly, non-pushy, attitude. My brief interactions with the rest of the staff while browsing the store were also very positive and I felt welcomed and not pressured to buy something. AMAZING customer service! The manager Kevin was so kind to me and attended to my confusion for about 1-2 hours! I felt so bad occupying his time, but he said it's what they do. I needed a helmet, a pair of goggles, snowboard bindings, and a snowboard. They all were very attentive to my needs, got different models and colors for me to try, and they helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. Haven't been snowboarding in 10 years. I went through Tactics to get everything I needed. The employees are super friendly and helpful but don't make you feel pressured or like their hovering over you.
