The team here is very welcoming, friendly and full of knowledge about each and every shoe they offer. Anna helped me with choosing the best insoles and shoes for the shape and measurements of my feet. I highly recommend having your feet checked with the technology they have here at Fleet Feet. I learned a lot and was able to pick out a good pair of Hoka road running shoes and supportive insoles. Thank you Anna!!

Every now and than, one goes to a business that SO hugely exceeds expectations and provides such impeccable service that one wishes that Yelp had a system of recognizing such businesses. Perhaps a "Gold Star" or "Six-star" business? Since Yelp offers no such official accolade system, I can only gush about them in my reviews. Let me start out by saying that in my 50 years on this planet, I've never really exercised. My life-threatening exercise-induced asthma attacks for most of my younger life, and my occupation as a software engineer have never really allowed me to do much, and pretty well made me a couch potato. I wanted to change that, so I started walking (very briskly, a minimum of 3 1/2 miles a day, a minimum of 5 days a week). After several weeks of my legs being in agonizing pain and trying to figure out how to stop my feet from so severely blistering, and me wondering how anybody could POSSIBLY maintain this, let alone jog or run, my internet searches led me to look into getting a proper assessment and fitted for a proper pair of running shoes. Based on Fleet Feet's technology of 3D scans of one's feet, and their analysis of one's walk (computer analysis of one's walking on a pressure plate), off I went. I was immediately surprised by being greeted by an employee, being asked what they could do to help me, and their actively and attentively listening. The employee also asked me lots of questions to get an idea of my situation, my needs, my goals, my difficulties, etc. and explained that getting the scan and analysis of my walking gait would enable them to get me on the right track (pun probably intended). The scan was pretty amazing, and showed that I have significantly larger proportions (instep height, etc.) than average. The pressure plate analysis showed that I had a pretty neutral gait (no pronation or whatever the opposite of that is). Based on the analysis, the amazingly helpful employee selected two sets of insoles, a brand-new pair of socks ("try on socks" as my awesome friend who accompanied me explained), and three different pairs of shoes, all a full size larger than what I'd worn since high school. The employee explained that one's feet swell when one walks, and this is why one must get a larger pair than what one measures, and that this is surely what was causing the blisters. The employee had me stand on the insoles on the floor to see how they felt before putting them into any of the three pairs of shoes she selected that would be a good match for my relatively unusual proportions. I tried every combination of insole and shoe, but the best of the bunch was what the employee had me start with. Regarding the try-on socks, the employee explained that if I liked them, I could buy them for 50% off, but that there was absolutely no obligation for me to buy them. I didn't care for how short they were, and she offered for me to pick a pair more to my liking, and she'd give those to me at 50% off as well, and I did just that. All told, it took about an hour to get me into a proper set of shoes and good pair of socks (which I bought more of later at a different location). All the while, the employee was supremely patient, kind, professional, helpful, and just great. What else is completely unheard of in this day and age? They have a 60-day exchange / refund policy. The employee said that sometimes things just don't feel right after a few weeks, and if that turns out to be the case, I can come back and get something different, or get a refund. How did they shoes, insoles, and socks turn out? AMAZINGLY!!!!! I am honestly beyond shocked at how huge a difference they've made. I have no more blistering at all, despite my walking much longer distances and having injected some running and jogging into my walks, the agonizing pain in my right shin also has completely gone away. The plantar fasciitis? Gone. I seriously cannot state how thoroughly and completely I'm impressed and happy with Fleet Feet! it took me a LOT to muster the courage to come to a place like this (it's embarrassing for somebody my age to be so badly out of shape), and how completely comfortable the super kind employee made me feel, and made what could have potentially been a terrible experience, an absolute pleasure instead. Fleet Feet deserves six stars!

This place is amazing. I came here because of the high reviews and I needed a place with gait analysis. This place has an inside track, photo machine to analyze your arches, and treadmills. Chris assisted me in my search for the perfect shoes and inserts. Chris gave me multiple shoes and inserts to try. He also analyzed my gait in each pair. They didn't have the style and of shoe I wanted so they placed an order for my shoe and will mail it to me when it comes in.

Because I had purchased two pairs of shoes from them recently, I had ~$20 in dividends to spend. So when I was near this downtown location, I stopped in to see what I could get. While of course this is a way to get you back into the store to spend money, there was no pressure of what to buy. Staff was super helpful in pointing me to items that would be fully under the dividend amount and therefore totally free. For the amount I had, this was primarily socks or sunglasses. I happily walked out with a new pair of shades! This is a nice perk and just another reason to support your local running store.

Morgan "Run-Shoe-Pro" gave me the lowdown on run, walk and train options. He was really easy-going, friendly and quite knowledgeable about every shoe on the shelf. Impressive! I came to try Topo Magnifly 5 with 0 mm drop. I walk 5 miles daily around Portland on concrete so I want a shoe that's easy on old creaky senior knee joints. Through the years I've worn Altra (also available here) the past decade. Topo and Altra have similar wide toe boxes. Topo fits a little bit snugger in the heel, which I like. I bought the Topo. Walked around the store with 1 Altra and 1 Topo on for comparison. Altra or Topo, either way, healthy feet are vital to your mobility and fitness. The store looks extravagant with lots of fancy interior arts, illustrations and shoe walls. There are apparel, shoes and some accessories sections. The fitting room area is also nice. As I explored the store, I saw a lot cool shoes, both for men and women. They were some of the newest model of sneakers. For apparels, they had the casual and workout gears. There was a small section for World Cup team merchandise. Prices of the items were Nike standard, on the higher end. The staff members at the store were friendly. Multiple of them interacted with us and also assisted with trying items in fitting room. We bought a Brazil Team's t-shirt. Checkout was quick and easy. This location is incredibly convenient, with everything I need within walking distance. The prices are reasonable, and it's not as large as the Nike company store. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is that it carries some items that I can't find at other locations. Overall, I find it a decent place to shop for Nike gear. The store wasn't overwhelming due to the sheer volume of products, and the customer service was exceptional. The store wasn't overly crowded, which made it a pleasant shopping experience. In addition to Nike gear, the store also has a good selection of running shoes. However, I did notice that a lot of the shirts I purchased ran two times smaller than what I'm used to. For instance, I usually purchase a medium, but a medium felt like an extra large, so I would have to go with a small, and even that felt a little large. So, be mindful of that when visiting this location. I think this is a pretty good Nike location. I haven't had the opportunity to compare it with other Nike stores in Portland, other than Beaverton, but I was satisfied with my purchases and the overall experience at this store.

The prices are in the high side, especially for Portland, but a cashmere cardigan for $400 is the going rate. The boutique is bright, clean and has an industrial vibe. It's easy to browse through the racks of clothing which line the parameter on racks in a color coordinated fashion. The cashmere dresses are scrumptious! Beautiful in color, texture and style; refined elegance, classic, timeless. Even cashmere loungewear, perfect for staying comfy and warm during these long days spent at home. Kayla, the young woman working that day, was super helpful and pleasant. She easily engages in conversation and provides assistance, if that is your mode of shopping. And also gives one the freedom to browse at their leisure with no pressure to purchase, which is my preference. We visited on MLK Day and were there specifically to see what Oliveve handbags were available since I had recently come across this brand while shopping at the House of Lolo in Palm Desert. Kayla immediately recognized my Jasper bag! The Oliveve bags have a modern design, clean lines, and my bag is made of neutral colored pebbled leather. It's the perfect bag to use while shopping as it is a cross body style yet as large as a tote and holds a lot. That day there was only one Olivevebag available, a black handbag with tan wrapped handles, and my friend immediately claimed it! I'll have to go online (Oliveve.com) to buy my next one, the black oiled Italian leather Eva bag, which I've had my eye on for a few months. In addition to the clothing, they have a small selection of unique jewelry and other accessories like boots, tassels to add to your handbags, hats, belts and scarves. Even a small but unique selection of home decor items like textured throws, pillows, candles, woven baskets and trays, perfume and vases.p to adorn your home. Located on NW 11th in The Pearl District, it's around the corner from the main shopping area so unless you know it's there, you may not stumble upon it. It's worth seeking out if you want to add quality clothing to your wardrobe that you can wear season after season. Maybe I am just not hip with the times and people really do spend that kind of money on a random coat, if so, I beg your pardon. It would be cool if your shop had goods that "normal" people like me, I know I am throwing the term normal around quite loosely but folks probably get my gist.
