What do you do when you can't decide between two pairs? Just buy both. Problem solved. Family member loved her Drs but after many years of good service they are in dire need of repair so when went to source. The sales person was great, showed us exactly what we were asking for. We were fitted, and done in 20 minutes. Best money ever spent. Good quality shoes, great service added on the top. Well done.

Standing by faulty product is just unethical. I've purchased DM's from this location since the beginning of 2012. I've worked at a cobbler's before as well. The quality of the more expensive "supposedly" better quality English Docs has gone down the tubes in the last decade for sure. My first pair lasted 3+ years. This pair lasted 6+ months. This, I should add, is the second pair of defective shoes I've been sold at this location. And while it was great that they made it right in the past before doesn't excuse the fact that they sold me defective product again and refused to make it right. Dr Marten's were originally intended as a non slip sole for the workplace that didn't sacrifice style and comfort for utility. They've completely lost their originally intended customer base. And if anyone has read the news regarding their profits falling due to there being too many variants of the original boot, this should come as no surprise. The manager offered to give me a 1-800 number to call and They said the return could be handled that way, however I clearly stated the defects became visible over a month before however, as I was working I didn't have the time to come in and address the issue. So why would they think I'd have the time to mail off the defects and wait an eternity for incoming work shoes that are essential? I recommend other consumers proceed with caution while shopping here. Honestly the only people I would recommend buying the 1460 "Vintage" Made in England boot would be people like me who grew up with them. Honestly they should remove the "Vintage" part from these new ones, there isn't anything vintage at all about them. My co-worker had a pair from ten years ago that she's worn for five years+, they look brand-new, no problems. While I'll unequivocally play Russian boot roulette in the future here I'll never be able to shake the feeling like I was lied to here and they could've made it right, but didn't. PS My coworker in five years never applied any weather proofing treatment or leather balm. There's no way that my boots cracked from weather because I applied an appropriate amount of weather proofing to them and have owned several pairs over the years not to mention my experience working at a Bloody Shoe Cobler's!

What a great store to shop at if you like the look of Dr Martens footwear and clothing. My wife ended up buying a lot of stuff here as she just loved everything. We had to fit it in the suitcases or I think she would have bought more. I did find a pair I liked but they only went up to a men's size 9 or 10 or something that was too small for me. I was shocked that you couldn't even order a larger size as they didn't make it. The girl did try to find me another style in my size, but I didn't like the feel as much. Who stops at those sizes? I bet if Shaq wanted a pair, they would make it. I wish I was Shaq. They had many cool displays which showed the different styles over the years and it was like a mini-museum/store you can shop at. It fits pretty well into Downtown Portland's vibe. If you're on the hunt for some Doc's and you can't find them at DSW, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxxx, Rack Room Shoes, Payless, Picway, Sears, Montgomery Wards, Gimble's, Horne's, Macy's, JC Penny's, Jamesway, Gold Circle, Kmart, Sears Grande, Dillards, Belk, Neiman Marcus, Foot Locker, The Outlets, Big Lots, Stein Mart, Marshalls, Rue 21, Dick's, or Hot Topic, then maybe try the place with their name on the sign.

Type of 1460 Pascal boot I purchased

I was on a weekend trip to Portland and was of course stopping at Powell's and Dr. Martens. I didn't have a plan to buy a pair of boots, but the customer service was so good, their displays are amazing, and when we came into the store we were immediately greeted by multiple employees and by the awesome pride decor/displays (this was early June 2022). Ray in particular really made an impression on me with their thoroughness, detailed knowledge of how different shoe styles fit, and they respected the budget I had for boots. Their honesty and determination to get me the best deal possible was greatly appreciated. You've got to stop by, especially if you're already going to Powell's.

Staff was super helpful in pointing me to items that would be fully under the dividend amount and therefore totally free. For the amount I had, this was primarily socks or sunglasses. The store looks extravagant with lots of fancy interior arts, illustrations and shoe walls. There are apparel, shoes and some accessories sections. The fitting room area is also nice. As I explored the store, I saw a lot cool shoes, both for men and women. They were some of the newest model of sneakers. For apparels, they had the casual and workout gears. There was a small section for World Cup team merchandise. Prices of the items were Nike standard, on the higher end. The staff members at the store were friendly. Multiple of them interacted with us and also assisted with trying items in fitting room. We bought a Brazil Team's t-shirt. Checkout was quick and easy. This location is incredibly convenient, with everything I need within walking distance. The prices are reasonable, and it's not as large as the Nike company store. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is that it carries some items that I can't find at other locations. Overall, I find it a decent place to shop for Nike gear. The store wasn't overwhelming due to the sheer volume of products, and the customer service was exceptional. The store wasn't overly crowded, which made it a pleasant shopping experience. In addition to Nike gear, the store also has a good selection of running shoes. However, I did notice that a lot of the shirts I purchased ran two times smaller than what I'm used to. For instance, I usually purchase a medium, but a medium felt like an extra large, so I would have to go with a small, and even that felt a little large. So, be mindful of that when visiting this location. I think this is a pretty good Nike location. I haven't had the opportunity to compare it with other Nike stores in Portland, other than Beaverton, but I was satisfied with my purchases and the overall experience at this store.

The prices are in the high side, especially for Portland, but a cashmere cardigan for $400 is the going rate. The boutique is bright, clean and has an industrial vibe. It's easy to browse through the racks of clothing which line the parameter on racks in a color coordinated fashion. The cashmere dresses are scrumptious! Beautiful in color, texture and style; refined elegance, classic, timeless. Even cashmere loungewear, perfect for staying comfy and warm during these long days spent at home. Kayla, the young woman working that day, was super helpful and pleasant. She easily engages in conversation and provides assistance, if that is your mode of shopping. And also gives one the freedom to browse at their leisure with no pressure to purchase, which is my preference. We visited on MLK Day and were there specifically to see what Oliveve handbags were available since I had recently come across this brand while shopping at the House of Lolo in Palm Desert. Kayla immediately recognized my Jasper bag! The Oliveve bags have a modern design, clean lines, and my bag is made of neutral colored pebbled leather. It's the perfect bag to use while shopping as it is a cross body style yet as large as a tote and holds a lot. That day there was only one Olivevebag available, a black handbag with tan wrapped handles, and my friend immediately claimed it! I'll have to go online (Oliveve.com) to buy my next one, the black oiled Italian leather Eva bag, which I've had my eye on for a few months. In addition to the clothing, they have a small selection of unique jewelry and other accessories like boots, tassels to add to your handbags, hats, belts and scarves.
