I recently visited the Adidas Employee Store located at the Montgomery Park. Before I went, i have to download the app, sign up as member and reserve a time slot using the app. It's quite troublesome. This place was quite busy during my visit, it's a June sunday, there was a line, but it moved quickly. The store itself is not big, but they have a great selection, especially right now for FIFA. The employees were friendly. A really cool feature is that you can customize jerseys in the store. Keep in mind that the prices are still expensive; this is not an outlet, so do not expect outlet prices. If you are visiting Portland and you're Adidas fan like me, I recommend stopping by. read more

BE AWARE! THEY OVER CHARGED AT CHECK-OUT! The customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. After discovering the store overcharged us for 12 items due to a system pricing error, we rushed back before our flight to get it resolved. Instead of a quick correction for *their* mistake, we were met by staff who had absolutely no sense of how to handle the situation. They represent the store, yet they completely detached themselves from the problem and showed zero care or urgency to resolve it. The staff's handling of the situation was abysmal: -ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY: We were forced into a massive, 30+ person line. When we asked to use the empty employee lane because of our tight flight schedule, we were bluntly denied because we were "regular customers." -TERRIBLE ATTITUDE: Staff repeatedly told us there was nothing they could do and explicitly stated that if we missed our flight while waiting for them to fix their error, *"that would be our responsibility. -DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS: A simple refund took nearly an hour, causing immense stress and almost making us miss our flight. The staff here is rigid, dismissive, and entirely lacking in basic empathy or problem-solving skills. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Adidas - Receipt showing the price difference - Shoe Stores Near Me - Portland, Oregon

This Adidas store is located on second floor of Adidas HQ, about 10 minutes away from downtown Portland. To enter the store, I had to schedule a visit from the Adidas app. The speciality of this store was, most items in this store had 50% discount. Upon arriving at the store, we had to check-in at the reception where we received a coupon for the 50% discount on our whole purchase. The store was huge, filled with apparels, shoes and accessories for men, women and kids. The shoe section had about six aisles. Kids shoe had whole lot of variety as well. There was also plenty of World Cup special merchandise and apparels that were excluded from the 50% discount offer. A lot of the regular apparels were unique to this store only and also a lot of stuff from Adidas' website were not available here. We spent about an hour in the store. Few staff members I interacted for assistance were friendly and helped me to get the correct size. Fitting room was available to trying out items. We bought couple of pairs of kid's shoes, couple of jackets, hoodies and t-shirts from the store. The checkout line was long, as the store was full of people. The staff member at the register was friendly and nicely packed all our items. read more

I usually come here on a guest pass with no problem! Today, I didn't realize my guest pass had expired a couple days ago. I had no choice but to come through from an appointment ton the app. The lady up front checking in was very nice and helped us navigate it. Our visit went smoothly and I love coming here to see their new arrivals and getting new shoes and threads for friends and family! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Love Adidas! read more

Adidas Employee store is inside Montgomery Park shopping center. You have to reserve a time on your membership app before showing up at the store. I can see it gets busy when the weather is good and when it's tourist season. We were lucky. There was no line. We checked in right away. Great selection for men women kids. Especially now for FIFA, lots things to look through. Big selection on shoes as well. Sports wears are fantastic. Very friendly employees. The price is unbelievable. If you are visiting Portland, definitely stop by. read more

Service: 10/10 super friendly Selection: not a lot of size 13s Value: great However, the store is super hot and needs AC. Also, takes a long time for employees to get an idea of availability. When shopping with passes at employee stores, I have learned to arrive early and leave happy. When I surprisingly received a shopping pass yesterday while waiting in line @ Cards 'n' Hobby (review to follow shortly), I was like "cool". Not only could I shop (which I rarely do) for cool stuff, I was headed to the Alberta Arts District and it was on the way. I considered that a win-win. The selection was what I expected. I was planning on getting up to 3 pairs of shoes, but I only got 1 pair because sizes were pretty sparse. Kind of like those discount shoe places. I get it 50% markdown = smaller selection. I also got a cool jacket and a couple PDX branded shirts. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because the shirts came up $35 instead of the $30 that they were marked on the tag. If I wasn't paying attention at checkout i would have overpaid and that wouldn't have made me happy. Luckily I was paying attention, the cashier (working 1st reg, and in possibly in training) got a supervisor to override and get me the correct price. I ended up spending $225 and got excellent value for the items I purchased. Hopefully the override adjustment in the register transfers to the other items on the floor. Edit---it has been a couple weeks since I have gone and I just used the running shoes I purchased for the first time last night. Ran almost 3 miles in about 40 min and no pain until the last 100 yards...this is going to help with my extra belly fat. Let's GOOOOO read more

It's a hit more miss because sometimes the styles/fashions/colors aren't my thing but not this time! I really liked the styles and with a giftcard, I was even happier (haha). Anyways, whether I had a gift card or not: the bags really caught my attention this time. I really liked the styles and colors, too! I also saw an Oregon Trail tshirt which was fun (since I teach that topic at work lol). It was also my parents' first time so I was glad we all both got a little something. The line was longgggg but there were lots of people at the cashier and they were very quick, productive, and still kind. read more

What a disappointment, adidas sends out a mailer offering employee discounts to the public. I pick a few items and when I get to the checkout, it is totally understaffed. Bunch of people in line, three checkers, very slow, the third checker leaves! with a bunch of people in line to checkout. That's when I gave up and left empty handed. Consumerism isn't worth the aggravation. read more

I always receive really horrible customer service at this store. Seems to be a lot of younger types that would rather be doing anything other than their jobs. Rode the train in from Wilsonville today with a small cross body bag and couldn't take the box the Adidas shoes came in; employee 01003768 who was at the register had a horrible attitude to begin with. When I asked him to keep the box, he said he didn't have room in his recycle bin to take it. This just reinforces the negative experience I continually have at this store. read more

We had an amazing experience at the Portland Adidas Employee Store. What truly made our visit exceptional was Jeremy Rohrman. My daughter had her heart set on a custom jersey, but we were in a serious time crunch and needed to get to the airport. Jeremy went above and beyond to make it happen and made sure everything was done perfectly. We literally received the jersey right before we had to leave for our flight. He turned what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable moment for my daughter. That level of service is rare. Thank you, Jeremy, for making it happen. We will definitely be back. read more

I love coming here when I get a pass. They always have great selections and different things every time I visit, which keeps it fresh and exciting. The store is always clean and organized and pretty well stocked. I've come on weekends several times before and in this particular experience it was incredibly busy. I've never seen it like that before. There was about a 20 minute line just to get inside, but the really bad thing was the line to check out that took just under an hour. Totally fine to be understaffed, but some sort of communication would have been nice as a customer. Perhaps when we were checking in they could have let us know the wait time so we could assess if we wanted to stay. Everyone was in pretty high spirits considering, but it wasn't the best customer service. read more

Oh Adidas how I love you. I love 50% off that I can just use the Adidas app to schedule coming in. I love my Adidas socks. Speaking of socks, I've now become irritated when it comes to not having socks that are Adidas. I just CAN'T. They're so much better quality. They're so comfortable. I told the checkout staff that when I bought my son a bag of socks at a big retail store, I was SO maddened by the lint and balls of fluff that these left everywhere. No excuses for not just buying him Adidas anymore. But now I'm doing it too. I LOVE my Adidas socks!! I also buy at least 2-3 pairs of shoes here every year. Vegan Stan Smith for trend and lifting and then running shoes for the gym. Now that I have an 11 year old girl, apparel is now a thing too. Because buying it here is WAY better than anywhere else!!! Came to this store for years, just went to the adidas in New York and realized all the price tags at Portland employee store are changed to reflect a higher price that doesn't give you half off. You're actually paying retail. MAYBE $10 off at the most, they should not be playing these 50% off games, its very easy to change tags with those stringy knots they tie and call it a price tag. The shoes may be the only area in the store u could possibly be getting a deal. So shady and scammy read more

I always have a great experience when I visit the employee store, from check in, to shopping, to check out, I'm always greeted by kind employees who are willing to help. Selection is hit or miss, depending on the season. If I'm unable to find a size I'm looking for, an associate is never to far away to double check the system to see if they have something in stock. Not everything is discounted, so be mindful of the price tags and display signs as you are browsing. Tip: If you're visiting the store in the evening, go all the way to the back of the shoe section to check out the sunset! :) read more

This is a really good store. Of course you have to sign up before you go to make sure that you can get in. I use the app and got my confirmation pretty quickly. But I would have to say this is a good store. If you're looking for stuff that sometimes is online or even not online you can find here. The staff was helpful and they had nice fitting rooms read more

When Adidas took over this building, I didn't like it at first, but I did think it was an improvement over their previous location (over 5 years ago). The store was half the size with plenty of overstock. As for here, now double in size. And after obtaining an invite a couple of times, I've gotten used to the store and its layout. You can obtain a 'one-time' pass if you sign up as a member online or via app. When you get there, you check in and enter with their latest and newest athletic-wear and gym-wear type of gear. Towards the back, from right to left is the men's shoes (sandals along the wall next to the fitting room), down to women's shoes. More of their latest and greatest in the middle, along with Originals! Kids' clothing and shoes are in the back corner. My interactions with the employees have been OK. One guy did help find certain shoes. Though, I did run into a bit of confusion with the guys running the fitting room, but not a big deal. I did have interactions with Ella, who was helpful from the shoes area to ironically helping us check out at the register. She was awesome! Overall, it's an employee store worth visiting. Here you'll find a mix of old school Originals, their Adizero line for running, plenty of soccer jerseys, plenty of shoes, golf clothing, and outerwear for hiking. It's obvious their prices did go up, but 50% off is still better than no discount! I'll be back! Oh, and I've dropped a star because the Adidas app caters to crApple iphone users. read more

Like any of these stores, it's a hit or miss, depending what you are seeking. now that the Nike Store on ME MLK closed down, I come here if I'm looking for sporty athletic ware. Location is convenient for me, parking is easy, and the store is spacious. I'm on the hunt for one of their floral jackets, no luck so far. Yes, it's previous season clothes and gear, but who cares? I wear these items for several years so it doesn't matter to me if it's the latest. I just care about whether I like it. read more

I was able to score a pass from my neighbor and was really excited to go. I made an appointment online and the check in was really easy. There's a variety of men and women's clothes and shoes here but the clothing offered was okay. There was no new releases but there's a lot of choices. I went later in the afternoon so a lot of the popular sizes were already sold out. They did have the samba shoes but there was no discounts on those. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. The store was really clean and not messy and chaotic. There was also a ton of free parking. Came here on a Tuesday mid-afternoon with some girl friends as we were all visiting from out of town, and honestly I had a better time than I thought I would! I'm not a big shopper, but I couldn't resist the 50% off most items. I ended up coming away with a pair of casual mules for $55 (50% off), and some adidas sambas for 30% off (got white /cream colored ones with black accents). Also got all the following for 50% off: athletic olive green tote bag, white hat, and black running jacket. Total was $228 and it honestly felt like a steal. You'll have to book an appointment ahead of time, but since it was a weekday, we actually booked ours only a few hours before showing up. We arrived, showed them our mobile booking, and they gave us these ticket numbers that you show to the cashier when you're about to check out. Pros: - LOTS to choose from, despite me thinking it would be hit or miss. They had a lot of shoes in my size (women's 9) and a lot of things that I ended up trying on that I typically wouldn't purchase online. - I didn't really interact with too many of the staff, but my cashier was efficient. - Very easy for our uber driver to find - Thank you Oregon for no sales tax! honestly such a fun experience. - clean bathrooms in the lobby area - was easy to catch an uber here after we were done - could easily spend a couple hours in here trying stuff on. Cons: - the popular shoes of the season (eg. sambas) are not discounted - started to feel really hot especially near the bench on the right side where the sun is shining through the window, prepare to sweat while trying on shoes haha - they didn't have a lot of actual active-wear, it was all mostly athleisure when it came to the clothes - The lobby area was also extremely hot read more

After just months of use of a pair of Men's Terrex Trailrider Running Shoes, the mesh began to tear from the sides and middle. I have owned several pairs of their and other brands for three or more years that were not such a disappointment. I complained to Adidas Customer Service and it took over two months to reply. Then, they told me that they follow industry guarantee standards of six months from purchase. I received a pass to the Adidas Employee Store as a participant in the upcoming Shamrock Run here in Portland, OR. I hadn't had the chance to visit the employee store to date, so I was excited to have this opportunity. We have driven by the Montgomery Park building several times; it is a massive building and can be seen from various locations around Portland. I was surprised to see how beautiful the building is inside finally coming in. It has so much potential. The Adidas store is located on the second floor of the building. The store is an exclusive invite-only shopping experience where you have access to the latest adidas apparel and footwear at employee pricing; 50% off the retail price seen in the store. They carry Men's, Woman's and children's products in the store from apparel, shoes, hats and backpacks and a variety of bags. While Adidas products are expensive, they are in line and competitive to other products in the sports apparel category such as Nike, Lululemon, etc. and actually even a bit better priced from my perspective. They are a globally well known brand and known for the quality and classic styles within their brands. I purchased a pair of shoes ($50 with the employee discount applied), a fanny pack to use for my up coming race and a few female high impact sports bras (which fit great). I enjoyed browsing and shopping in the store and am very happy with the few items I purchased today. I would definitely come back in the future when I obtain a pass again. After my last experience at the Nike company store, this was a bright spot in this shopping expedition since we had early games today. It started out with great parking and a very trendy neighborhood. The building is beautiful inside, and the Employee Store is on the second floor. After stopping at the front desk and checking in, we were granted to the store. I will have to say the selection of popular styles were available in almost all sizes. The clothing for men and women was plentiful, including many of the national jerseys. All sports and lifestyle wear are everywhere. Almost all of the items were 50% off, and national soccer jerseys were at 30% off. The bags were full when we left and I was very happy with the shopping experience. 50% off everything in the store. Need I say more? You can score yourself a pair of Ultraboosts that typically retails for $200 for only $100. Plus, you're in Oregon where there's no sales tax so you're saving a lot of money here. Besides the aforementioned Ultraboosts, they've got a pretty extensive shoe selection for both mens and womens. It definitely can be overwhelming because there's so much to see, but take your time because once you get in you can shop at your own pace without anyone pressuring you to hurry up out of there. Despite the misleading name, you just need to download the Adidas app and make an appointment in their Events page. We only found out about this the day-of on a Sunday, and were still able to get a slot in a few hours. It can get a little cramped and chaotic, BUT there's a pretty big selection, both styles, items, and size-wise and the staff do a great job of keeping everything tidy so it's still a really pleasant shopping experience. I was impressed that almost all the clothing I looked at were available in every size! First time checking out the Adidas Employee Store. You get in by booking a time slot on the Adidas app. Almost everything is 50% off. Dropped in on a busy Saturday afternoon. Staff is friendly and helpful with checking sizes. Two fitting room areas. Very clean and organized. Decent selection of shoes, sandals, apparel and accessories. Double check your receipt when you pay - one item was charged more than the price tag. Pros - Selection of Ultraboosts (DNA 5.0 and 22's) - Plenty of World Cup soccer jerseys - A couple of soccer cleats. Only one high end model (Predator Edge.1 FG) Cons - No tennis shoes - Average selection of sandals. Cheaper at the Woodburn outlet store (60% off) read more

I feel grateful anytime I gain access to an employee store pass! I've been brought along or gifted one a few times now, and I recognize that Adidas and other stores have no obligation to invite anyone to these or even have the stores set up. (Though I guess they wouldn't do it if it didn't make them money...) Adidas style is hit or miss for me. It's interesting to see fashion develop and they have a lot of great partnerships to keep the brand alive (Crocs, Peloton, young influencers, etc). I personally prefer their classic stuff. They had some more out-there items like purple/brown cow print sports bras and jean cutoff shorts. More power to you if that's your style! Overall I felt a lot of sticker shock here. Everything was 50% off but I couldn't justify paying the discounted price, let alone full price. Additionally there were some final sale items to which the 50% discount did not apply but we're still too expensive for my budget. I guess when I go to the employee store I expect to get a good deal and these did not seem like that. That said, the biggest disappointment was the sizing. It was very hard to find anything in a size large or XL for me, let alone bigger. I'm not sure why it is this way, but it would be nice to offer a complete range of sizes. The building is beautiful and, though they could use more cashiers for a faster check out, they're open late! read more

Adidas - Plain white t-shirt and black sweater with colorful logo (ended up buying a plain black t-shirt instead) - Shoe Stores Near Me - Portland, Oregon

I love this place and am so glad I found it. Stuck on the second floor of the Montgomery Park building, the Adidas "Employee" store is an "Invite Only" place. To get invited, download the app, go to the "On The Radar" section of the app, scroll down to "Events in my Area" and click the box that says "Book Your Time With Us." On that screen, go to the bottom and click "Book Now" (it's smallish, so it took me a while to find it again after the first time when an employee showed me). From there, follow the prompts and eventually you get to a screen to book your date and time. Pick the date and the hour window block and just show up. You'll show your tag to the employee, and they'll give you a small sticker, which you need to hold onto and show the cashier upon payment. That's all it takes to be invited to the Employee Store. Anyways, once you're there, you'll find a huge amount of space with Adidas merchandise everywhere. And this is pretty quality stuff, too! Shirts, shorts, pants, shoes...essentially everything you'd find in a sports apparel store at the mall or in a store front, it's here. From what I gather, though, it's generally stuff that hasn't sold very well in stores or online, so it's sold at a discount. That discount, by and large, is 50%. And it's 50% off what the sticker says when you shop. So when the sign says a pair of shoes cost $120, you'll pay $60 for it. Be on the lookout, though; not everything is 50%. Some is 30 or 40%. But that's okay, because really, the vast majority is at the half-off mark. This was a godsend for me with my twin boys going off to the fifth grade this year. Shoes are expensive and they grow so fast! I was able to get three pairs of shoes for them (one kid had shoes that still fit) for about $165. I also got some slip on sandals for $15. And they're great, high quality, good looking shoes! My boys love 'em and were quick to get rid of their old, worn-out ones. We'll be going back soon, this time to get some new sneakers for me and my partner. The price is right and the selection is huge. Oh, try and remember the name of the employee who checks you in at the start; at the register they ask who helped you or who spoke with you, and I believe it helps them out by helping more people and being recognized by name. If nothing else, it doesn't hurt to offer some recognition. read more
