Lovely boutique on NE Fremont with LOTS of clothing in various styles, and a large selection of jeans against the back wall. Clothing is high quality and so expect the price tag to reflect that. They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand reams and candles that smell so good! The other day I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth! Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I like about adorn most is that they have a variety of styles because they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes! I try to stop in several times a year to see what's new, when I need a special outfit or a gift for a friend. This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. They have several locations (downtown, SE Clinton) and it's worth visiting them all! read more

The clothes in this store are lovely and well curated. However the sales people were not helpful or engaging when I had questions. I was the only customer in the store and it seemed as though I was bothering them when. It was uncomfortable and just not what I would like in a higher end store. read more

Our initial experience at Adorn on Fremont was very positive. I don't know the name of the sales clerk who helped us in May, but she was fantastic. We were thrilled to find the LAMADE Zingo Scarf in Anthracite and Midnight. Then this Friday, my daughter and I drove here specifically to purchase another Zingo Scarf for my dearest friend who I will be visiting in Arizona on Tuesday. Laura was the only clerk in the shop and what a totally different experience. Essentially, she called my daughter and me liars six different ways and couldn't be bothered to haul herself upstairs to check stock. We were very specific about what we were looking for, finally found it in the computer system, and she continued to tell us we were wrong - that what she was holding in her hand WAS the Zingo Scarf - despite the fact that the tag read SKINNY ZINGO (i.e., half as wide) and was a different price. She continued to hold up completely different scarves that weren't even the same brand. It was bizarre. We even purchased another scarf - so it wasn't like we were wasting her time, and no other customers were in the store. I don't know what her problem was, but we won't be back. And I found the scarf of REVOLVE'S website on sale for half price w/ free shipping. I have to agree with Google, Adorn on Fremont doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. read more

By the time I went into Adorn, I felt like I was in the movie Groundhog Day. The same shop, over and over and over again. It had some nice things, some well-made clothes in good fabrics. I do like a lot of the styles they carry - on the funky side. Some fun jewelry - I think they might have had a small piece or two for $12. It's bright, but somehow feels tighter than it should. There were quite a few folks milling around - and one very cute dog. Although I was warmly weclomed by the dog's person, I just didn't feel very comfortable walking to the back of the store. So I didn't. As I read though other reviews, I see maybe it's more that this is for young, hip, cool and thin people - of which I am maybe only .75 of one (cool, that is). So that doesn't feel too good. Nice things, sized out of my realm, priced out of my wheelhouse. But nothing I haven't seen before, maybe two doors down. read more

I like this shop. They are right close to my house and right close to my heart. I shop the mess out of this shop. I'm going to come in tomorrow and maybe I'll buy a shirt or a pant. It'll be a great experience either way. The staff is nice and honest and will order you things if you have to have that jacket in tan. You can't just wear black all the time people. They have a lot of Portland style clothes that I'm sure some of you will appreciate more than me, but they also have clothes that look good too. Did you catch that burn? It's ok, a little water and a bandage will make it better. Don't put butter on it. I don't know who told you that you should do that, but the butter just traps in the heat from the burn. TIL right? They even have some awesome wallets and belts if you need them. I like the wallets, though I have a hard time spending that on a wallet, they do probably last forever though. Considering this dumb fossil wallet I've got has lasted 12 years, its probably not a bad investment. I'm just saying that velcro wallet is awesome, but maybe you should get one of these premium BUSINESS wallets. I don't want to be the only one. read more

I love this store, period. I've tried to write this review a couple times but my head starts swimming with its awesomeness and then I just go there to shop. I will try to bullet point for my ease only. 1. The owner and employees. They rule. They are so helpful, honest and grateful for your business. T hey even have a stylist, Sara Dahl that comes in for their client events who helps you shop and gives advice on fashion. We aren't talking vogue fashion, we are talking real people, personal fashion and style. It's funny in that some of my most favorite clothes are from Shop Adorn and aren't even the ones I picked out. It's either pieces that Nicole (owner), Debbie (employee) or Sara (stylist) picked out for me to try on insisting it would look great. 2. The selection of clothes, accessories and other goodies are plentiful and ever changing. Some local, some not, all awesome. Be warned that you may run into some very expensive items upon first look. Just take your time, look around and find an array of very affordable items to more expensive items available. They are also one of the very few stores in town that carry Pendleton's Portland Collection (holy crap YAY!). 3. They hold client events, truck shows, secret and not secret sales that sometimes offer light refreshments (the good kind). On top of that, they have a killer reward point system and referral program that lets you earn money for shopping and gives new clients freebies. In short, this is my favorite store in Portland and has severely reduced the money and time I spend shopping in the Nordstrom's and Anthropologie (I still love you though Anthro). I never leave empty handed nor have I ever returned something that I changed my mind about or regretted buying (which is something I am notorious for doing). Hello Yelpers, I found this shop last year and (i've been to all the lovely boutiques PDX has to offer) its really THE BEST. If you need an afternoon of "shopping" or "me time" the entire Fremont street is really fun to explore. What sets Shop Adorn apart is all the little details, they are a true mom and pop and all the fixtures and racks have been designed and made by the shop owners husband. They have a great range of : low-mid prices items, designer denim, jewelry, fits for size 0-16, and very supportive and fun staff. I have 2 pairs of pants from them and they are the only pair of pants i wear. Ever. There are the Prarie Underground skinny girdles and I have to say I have been working on losing weight (for 2 years) and they are the only pants that have fit over the past year. I have been in during my weight struggles and the staff and owner have been more than sensitive to helping me figure out what would look good and not at all what you would expect from a typical "boutique". read more

I am so glad they had a Portland Perks to introduce me to this store. I have officially fallen in love with this place. They carry my absolute fave leggings and camisoles (the long style in an amazing fabric that lasts forevah). Service is always great, and they make great recommendations. I am obsessed with the jewelry they sell. One brand is labeled "Sarah", is local, and its beautiful, stylish, and simple with a twist. I would highly recommending stopping in here. I moved out of Portland a year ago, but my family knows when there is an Adorn sale going on based on the frequency of my visits home. I love this store. The whole staff is not only helpful, friendly and remember me personally, they are great to my family and friends when they come in for help. I found this shop about a year ago when I moved into the area. My first time in, Nicole was so sweet and helpful. I found some great pieces that I still wear. Fast forward to last week. I am driving home and see a clearence rack outside of the store. My heart stops and I slam on the brakes. I found a great locally made skirt and a really cute top that you can't find anywhere else. Love love love this boutique! The owner is so friendly which I feel is one of the most important things as a small business owner. She has great style & it really shows she loves her job. They always have fun dresses for both the younger gal as well as the more conservative woman. The accessories are mostly (if not all) local and again funky and fun. The thing I love most about this store is that they carry men's clothing. It is so hard for me to convince my boyfriend to go shopping with me however he doesn't hesitate when i ask him to go here. My girlfriend told me about the Fluxus scarf from Adorn. She loves it as a scarf but also for a blanket when she travels. Since I am on planes a lot and prefer to pack carry-on this was right up my alley. I was really impressed with this shopping experience. I purchased the scarf (no shipping charge) on Monday morning. I love the clothing here. I like the selection of dresses as well, they seem like they are carrying a lot more then they were a few years ago. Fremont is one of my favorite local spots to shop, it hasn't become as packed as Alberta so it still feels like a local secret to me. Lovely Clothes, carefully chosen and very stylish (even for Portland!). But goodness are the shop girls rude. You get "the look" up and down when you walk in. The last time i popped in had been gardening, apparently i didn't look good enough to greet. i had to walk up to the counter and ask about a pair of leggings i saw on their website. Not. So. Nice clothing, well made, but way over-priced. My wife used to shop here, as did I while they were carrying men's clothing, but over the past few years the prices have become overpriced to where we can no longer shop at Adorn. In addition, the genuine customer service has disappeared. read more

This boutique is my favorite in Portland. I shop here about once a month and always before a big trip like to NY or San Fran not only to stock up on basics like tank tops or skinny jeans but mostly for the fashion tips. The sales gals, esp Jess, love to bring stuff to my room and help me create looks so that I am not only comfortable but can wear that look being a casual tourist or they will show you how to transform that look into "date night". I've found gorgeous shoes there, awesome jewelry I can wear in any season, their clearance section rocks plus they have some comfy sleep wear and super comfy, tummy compressing tights. The owner is warm and friendly and loves to show me all the new things that arrived. My last 3 purses have all come from there along with my last 3 pairs of jeans, tights, necklaces and I plan on buying a fancy ring with the rewards points I am racking up. Did I mention the rewards points? A fun, easy way (they track it for you) to earn money to get something unique for yourself. The store is lit well, the prices are great for anyone's budget and it is very organized. They hold trunk sales, have amazing accessories and shoes (their yoshi flats rock!!) and everything is displayed very nicely. I enjoy shopping here a lot for the personal touches. Ive received thank you notes and referral cards to pass along plus they will take your pic and enter you into contests to win stuff at their lovely store. I bought online with shop adorn. The only item I purchased were the sunglasses by the house of harlow. First of, their price was cheaper by $5 than any other store nationally that carried HOH and they give you an extra 10% off when you like them on fb. Even though shipping and processing took 4 days because they were moving to another location, Nicole made up for it nt sending my sunglasses via two day shipping. And they are fabulous.
