Adorn now has several shops in various Portland neighborhoods and it's easy to see why. They carry LOTS of women's clothing in various sizes and styles and always have a large selection of jeans. Clothing is high quality so expect the price tag to reflect that. They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand creams and candles that smell so good! I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth and I used up the one I bought two years ago. Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I really like about Adorn is that they have a variety of styles - they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes and we can't all wear the same styles! In addition to cloths, they have shoes, sandals, hats, jewelry, candles, soaps & lotions and even a few handbags. Inventory is always changing and at the end of every season, they have fantastic sales, like 50% off. I had the best experience here! Wendy was just amazing. She was very welcoming, told me to take my time browsing, wasn't pushy or aloof; she was genuinely helpful & really just made my time in the shop fun! She showed me how to style some of the pieces I chose & took the time to talk me through how to create a few different looks. Aiden (I hope I'm getting that right!) also helped me find THE perfect denim options, a real fit expert she even helped me find my true size! Both of these ladies were so lovely. I generally don't enjoy trying on clothes, but they really made it enjoyable. They gave me honest opinions on some looks, unlike most places that try to sell you on every single thing; they were focused on what worked best for me. I got a new shirt here before going out to dinner with my boyfriend's family. His sisters asked where I got my top and I said Adorn. They said they would never support the company because the owner and her ex-husband are so messy and would scream at each other in public and in the store all the time! Adorn is a cute boutique that carries ladies clothing and accessories. The clothing is mostly casual with a current style. There is a large selection of denim jeans. The boutique has a modern and sleek atmosphere that's very inviting. The creamy colored walls are a great background for displaying the colorful selection of merchandise. Studio lighting keeps the place well lit. I really liked the atmosphere here. As I browsed the store, I was greeted by the sales ladies working there. They were all friendly and helpful. Currently all their summer clothing and accessories are 50% off. There are some fantastic bargains here providing you find your size in the garment you like. You can't expect a great size selection when merchandise is being cleared out for the new arrivals. There is some of their new fall merchandise in the back of the store, at full price of course. I had the best shopping experience this morning with Wendy. She spent so much time with me - selecting clothes, styling outfits, and giving her honest reviews of everything. I came home with new pieces I love and know how to style. I told my husband he can't be mad at how much I spent because it was better than therapy. At one point I even spontaneously hugged her? Which in hindsight is outrageously inappropriate! Thank goodness she didn't kick me out! And I don't even like hugging people outside my immediate family! This is how wonderful she was/is. And I didn't even have an appointment - just wandered in with a vague idea that I should get some new things for a trip. Love the store, and I am now a card carrying Wendy fan club member, as I am sure there are many of us. read more

This shop is fantastic! A friend and I walked in on a Friday, and were immediately offered a glass of champagne! We spotted some great stretch T's, and Marisa and Wendy got us all set with the sizes and colors we wanted. The shop was so friendly, and you could tell that many of the customers were regulars and were getting personalized service. We got our T's home, and loved them so much, we went back the next day for more! Marissa and Wendy greeted us enthusiastically and gave us more love. Nice email from Marissa later in the day. Went in today and needed some help from the shopkeeper to get a room/find an item. She told me "one minute" then proceeded to take a personal call and ignore the customers. Me and another large group walked out while she chatted on the phone. I'm not saying you have to kiss my feet, just treat the customers like you actually want their business maybe. read more

I love this store and especially the sister store on Fremont. Great customer service, gorgeous made to last clothing and personal styling service (for free!!) make me a repeat customer plus they carry shoes that are comfy (Dr. scholls!!) and gorgeous. This store used to have a killer assortment of high quality shoes (e.g., Swedish Hasbeens, Fortress of Inca). The last time I visited, the shoe selection was much smaller -- perhaps they're giving way to the shoe store that popped up next door? The clothes and accessories are still eclectic and cool and the people working there are always friendly and up for a chat, should you want that. read more

Great little boutique in it's new location. The women are sweet and helpful. I love the way the store is set up, plenty of room to move, and awesome vintage, white, shaggy swings to have a seat in! Great boutique I recently discovered. They carry tons of Citizens of Humanity and Mother denim and Rails tops. They do have great sales from time to time as they get rid of seasonal stuff. They have a super cute area with succulents up front that make perfect gifts. I love that the staff is attentive, but not pushy or salesy. Really great spot to shop! read more

I love this shop. It's dangerous that it's so close to my house...I literally can't come in here without buying. They have new and amazing things almost every day. Great shoes, cute dresses, comfy soft things, and a good sale rack! All the ladies who work here are helpful, not pushy at all, and fawn over my son :) I've had a few really great encounters with Wendy- always happy to let me exchange things (unworn of course!) but great for an indecisive person such as myself. My favorite boutique in Portland. There isn't a time I go in there and don't want everything in the shop. They do such a great job on the product selection. And the service is outstanding, especially Wendy. She has that eye for fashion and in seconds can select the perfect thing you were looking for! I absolutely love this place. It is my go to for shopping in town, and I am always recommending my friends, clients and pretty much anyone who compliments me on my amazing outfits. The majority of which are always an Adorn original . Not only do they always have a great selection of beautifully curated clothing options. The owner Nicole does an amazing job of hiring her stylists to be honest and really try to style you instead of sell you. I know that if I try something on and it's not 100 percent me they will tell me and help me find something that works in its place.
