Super friendly staff and an adorable selection of gifts (for yourself ). Definitely well-curated. I wish they had more plus size clothes, and/or a separate section. I did find a shirt in my size (which I bought) but it was challenging to find things that fit me at a 2x. read more

Really cute (and affordable!) boutique on Hawthorne, the door to which is quite easy to miss. But don't. Miss the door, I mean. Inside, you will find gorgeous outfits and accessories, seemingly hand-made and local, the selection picked and displayed with an expert's eye for quality and detail. read more

Amazing store full of tasteful and quirky items. Audra is so sweet; she gives great accessory recommendations and will make you feel like a million bucks when you step out of the fitting room. read more

This is my new favorite store! Perfect for folks who love brands like nooworks. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the clothes are adorable and not going to break the bank. read more

I had the most amazing experience at Twill Boutique! We stopped in just before they closed and instead of the expected, "Sorry, we're closing," Audra said, "come on in!" She explained that they were closed but would be happy to let me look around and try anything on. I explained how I've lost 70lbs this past year and I'm needing to replace just about everything. She was so excited for me that she started pulling countless items off the rack for me to try on. I felt like I had the VIP treatment as her and Kendall suggested beautiful items. We were there well over an hour. My husband sat in a comfy chair and was also treated so nicely. I will most certainly be coming back (still losing weight) for more quality clothes. I'm so happy with the half dozen items (including this awesome jacket) I purchased and there are at least another half dozen I'm excited to buy. read more

So glad this spot is on Hawthorne now as it's even closer to home. Love the clothes and selection. There are tons of soft and cute clothes and awesome sales. The owner is amazing...I met her today and she picked my size by looking at me and she was spot on! I'll be back! read more

I love that not only can you get unique finds, but that Twill buys from local designers. Love taking a stroll over to Twill, and always have to purchase a new dress when I'm there. Makes Hawthorne even that much more enjoyable ! read more

To the shop owner of Twill: your store is beautiful, you have an awesome selection and clothes that work with all body types. Truly stoked to take home with me two beautiful pieces. To the THIEF that stole from Twill while we were shopping, your desperation is not an excuse to steal. Especially from a small business owner. It's never too late to do the right thing. Hope you find it in you to return what your stole. read more

I so appreciate the customer service I received from Audra, the owner of Twill. She stands behind the items she sells in her boutique. I purchased a sweater there that I had an issue with and she graciously offered me store credit. When I could only find an item 2/3 of the original item, she offered to make it easy for me and just refunded the rest. I love shopping where I know I am going to be taken care of if there is an issue with an item. I love Audra for standing behind the items she sells in her store read more

Cute clothes. If my bank account wasn't struggling to stay afloat, I would have been tempted by many of the local designers (including cute bags). They also have petite jeans which is a huge plus to me. It's not generally super cheap, but my sister walked out with a really cute peacoat on sale for $30. read more

Pros. The staff and the owner are fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. The variety of apparel designs are also impressive. They sure do know how to buy fashion. I love how they always seem to have unique items and some impressive and locally made jewelry pieces. It's a small place so items are very limited but very unique. The cons. Prices. I'm not sure who these shoppers are that say the prices are reasonable but in many cases they are not. I am not on a budget but I cannot bring myself to purchase a $170 dress that was made in China. Not that I'm demanding locally made items, but if they were that would actually be a reasonable price. I purchased two adorable dresses (one was $100 and....made in China) yesterday and as always I browse their adorable collection of rings and trinkets before checking out. I picked up a TINY silver ring and was about to buy it when the gal says its $28. It was a simple silver band about a 1/4 of the width of a piece of yarn. Now come on. That is an insane markup. read more

First things first: we're buying a house, so if the mister asks I've only been here once, got it? Cool. So cute. The shop, the clothes, the employees. REALLY reasonably priced too, given that it's boutique. One little quibble: Twill gets pretty limited size runs, but I get it, it's a small shop. And there seems to be a lot of fast product turnover (I mean, I'm sure if I'd been here more than once I'd notice that.) And on the positive, you won't be running into anyone in SE wearing the same dress as you! Well, in your size anyway. So uh, I'm sure if I was visiting Twill regularly I'd be finding some really cute, reasonably priced clothes, that change often! I can't wait until that day! read more

I love this little gem. Its not a fancy place, but tucked in a cute hood on Division. The majority of the clothes are local and the price points are amazing. Not one thing over $100 and most items I spied and loved locally were betwen $40-50. I love the southern gal that owns it - she is so good at suggesting flattering wearables. Sweet as pie and right on with her fashion tips. There is local bejewels as well. read more

I wandered into Twill by pure luck today for the first time and I'm so glad, because it's my new favorite store in Portland! I ended up finding so many cute and vibrant pieces, most of which were on sale (and really affordable!!) The two people working there were so helpful. I even called after I left to ask for a photo of a jacket I didn't get but am considering going back for, and Hannah was so sweet to text me pictures of it. I'm going to tell all my friends to go there and I will definitely be back! Thank you!! read more

I was impressed by the prices for being a boutique and also the staff was so friendly - even with quite a few people in there and it being one person at the register...she wandered around making actual conversations with people looking at things - suggestions, helpful comments...just wow...very impressive. That is the kind of person who makes you want to buy things. So bravo for hiring someone who clearly likes her job and is very good at it. The store is super cute too with things displayed very well. I will say that for such a small shop the range of sizing also impressed me quite a bit and there are quite a few very cute accessories throughout. read more

Definitely a great selection and variety of clothes and accessories, many of which are locally made. I love the window displays and the cute little welcome sign (open/nope). I will be checking back frequently to see what wonderful new finds there are. read more

I had such a great experience at Twill. Audra, the owner, was extremely helpful to me when I called about a purse that I purchased there. It's a beautiful purse that looks like leather, was very reasonable and comes in many pretty colors. The strap started to show some wear so I called Audra. She called the manufacturer and was able to replace the strap for me. I sincerely appreciated all of her efforts and she was super nice throughout the process. Plus, their clothes are really cute. Great service! read more

Twill is a cute store that is kind of ageless. I went in there and found a cute top, my sister found some huge beautiful earrings and meantime there were several other types of people shopping - a elderly woman, a plus size woman and a 30 something. They have a great selection of baby clothes as well. Check it out. read more

Super cute shop, lots of clothes that feature style and comfort. The owner is so sweet and takes great pride in her shop. I am loving the locally made pajamas and will be putting those on my holiday wish list. If you are hitting SE for some retail therapy, definitely check out this chic boutique. read more

A sunny day in late Spring '13, I noticed a new shop about a block my workplace on SE Belmont and decided to walk over and take a look. 45 minutes later, I left with a bag full of cute clothes and found new friends for life!! I can't say enough how much I love this store and the staff. The variety of styles and reasonable price ranges make it hard to leave empty handed. The owner and staff are amazing. They're friendly and know the stock incredibly well. I feel like I have personal shoppers every time I'm there. They are very honest about how things look when you try them on and never encourage you to buy something that doesn't look good. This is a quality I greatly appreciate--we can't see ourselves from every angle, right? They are also great at suggesting styles to fit my body type. More than once, they've recommended I try an item I was less than enthused about on hanger and I've found it looks fabulous. It's dangerous to work so close to store with such awesome ladies and a rapidly changing stock, but I love that I can pop in once a week and they always have something new to browse. Plus, the outdoor sale rack cannot be beat!! I love getting dressed in the morning and planning my outfits everyday and I love to tell people about Twill! read more

I don't shop for clothes often, but I like supporting small, neighborhood boutiques and this one is adorable. One of the owners is usually in the shop and offers great advice on styles and fit. It's a small selection, but I always find something I'm convinced would be key to my little wardrobe! Recently a skirt I bought and love had a seam come loose after just one wash. They were very kind in honoring a full store credit, no questions asked. I will definitely shop here again! read more

I was doing the Little Boxes adventure and stopped into Twill. I was pleasantly surprised by the array of clothes in such a small place and the relatively reasonable prices! I ended up buying super cute sweater top... I will be back if I ever need a cute dress. Would be nice to have more size L clothes, though :) read more

Nice shop. Sustainably made clothing. Styles that work for me, classy and simple. I'll be back.

I love the clothes that they offer, and it's not as expensive as I expected, good quality products

I went into this shop recently and had the best experience. I bought two cute and cozy wintertime frocks and some earrings and had a nice time with one of the owners who was darling and totally unintimidating. All of her suggestions for me to try on were dead-on (or nearly dead-on) for my style and figure. I'm "petite" in the small but curvy sense and felt right at home in this shop where most items were made in America and tended toward American sizing. That said, prices are very reasonable and a little lower than most boutique-y shops in town. Ladies, if you're on SE Division, stop in say hello to Twill. And if you're a teacher, let them know because they'll knock off 10%! read more

This boutique has an amazing assortment of clothes and for every price range. Every piece I tried on seemed cut to flatter women's bodies. The owner is so sweet and great at helping you to pick out items that will look great on you. I highly recommend stopping in here. read more

I love this place! Always something new and different than those horrid mall stores. The owner is wonderful and everyone there has always been friendly. my Fav in the S.E.! The owner is a fabulous buyer and the sales staff is very friendly and knows how to dress all body types. If you are ever in the Belmont Hood It's the place to go. Charming and unpretentious. read more

I found Twill when it was at the lower end of Division by Franklin High; now moved to the lower end, yet still retains the same great atmosphere and ease in clothing. I have purchased several skirts and a few tops that I reach for again and again. Audra was wonderful in helping me. This shop is on my go to list for interesting pieces as well as accessories and art when I'm feeling in the mood to shop. read more

A wonderful shop that I discovered when needing some clothes for a European vacation The owner, Audra is amazing and really takes a genuine interest in her customers, and their needs. The clothes are beautiful, yet affordable. I have bought many items over the years and have enjoyed wearing them, and unlike a lot of clothing you would buy from big corporations, they last! Twill is definitely a Southeast gem that all women should check out! read more
