Note to others: if this is your only destination, put West courtyard in your map search and park on 2nd level by the entrance! Once inside, the reps were nice, one even went and found the smaller sized shirt I needed for the exchange, and they processed the return of the dress quickly. Loft is not a store I frequent, in fact, I only made the online purchase because a button up denim midi dress kept stalking me on Instagram. Not knowing my Loft size, I bought two to try on, and had to return one. The denim dress is gorgeous, fits perfectly, and is a classic, timeless style that I can wear for years. I'm super happy with my purchase, if not the frustrating experience of trying to find this store. Next time I'll go to the Hillsboro location where you can just pull up in front of the store.

The owner asked me a few questions and I told her what I was looking for and wanting to achieve. She put a few in the dressing room for me to try on. Ended up purchasing a this stunningly cute emerald green dress with rhinestones on the front, straps and the sides of the dress. Went back this past Saturday because I'm going to compete in a national pageant and I want a new gown to rock on stage. These are gowns I tried on and I may have purchased one or two of them. I ended up with a lovely sky-blue crepe tank dress with flounced, rhinestone-adorned tiers. When I walked in and saw how much formalwear she had in there, my first thought was, "Oh, no, there's going to be nothing but conservative, matronly, stiff, MOB dresses." That was clearly not the case. When I told Joy what I was looking for (formal but fun and sort of sassy) she immediately pulled out a fantastic selection of dresses and I had the best time trying them on. She even brought out shoes so I could get the full effect. It turned out to be a really fun experience and Joy was terrific. In response to another reviewer who felt the level of service was determined by how the shoppers are dressed -- I was in a T-shirt and capris when I went in, and I got terrific service from Joy herself, so thumbs up from me on that score, for sure. It was a bummer as the light blue and orange Aztec print pullover had my name all over it! Nice selection of Aztec printed bags. They had lots of texture and came in a variety of color palettes. And they were huge! Definitely use as an overnight bag or gym bag. Handmade jewelry - lots of fringe earrings - and bracelets, necklaces and rings rounded out the accessory section. Inventory moves quickly and there are always new items so visit frequently. The owner was so warm and friendly, like shopping with your friend! Clothes are displayed beautifully, with color palettes together so it's easy to create outfits. The clothes are both on trend and classic. For example, they had long plaid shirts - mid thigh length - in a blue & gray combo and tan & cream. I've seen people wearing these jackets but no other shops had them. Unfortunately they didn't work for my shape, but if they did, I would be wearing one now! An offer to assist from a stylist came within minutes. When I explained why the jacket didn't work for me, rather than argue as some reps do, she immediately suggested a belt to give my waist the definition that was missing from the straight cut jacket. She clearly knew what styles would work best on my shape, as do I, and I was appreciative that she was seeing me as an individual and not just trying to push generic product to me. The clothes are well made and with very nice fabrics. Soft prints and lots of solids and neutrals. Many of styles of jeans available - high waist, mid rise, straight leg, wide leg . Clearly they realize that one style does not fit all. Well, done! Lots if accessories too. Scarves, hats, belts, fashion jewelry, some bags and shoes. There is a section in the back with several sale racks and the clothing there is also nice, but maybe from a previous season. So right now, lots of summer items. This will definitely be a regular stop when I am at Bridgeport Village.

I am consistently floored by the gorgeous wares available daily. If you buy online, read posts carefully for the time when coveted items will drop and have your trigger finger for payment at the ready bc items this gorgeous go fast... like in seconds. Why? Because there's nothing worse than being haunted by gorgeous vintage that got away. Also, if you've bought from the shop, you know you can trust that items are accurately represented with full transparency, and they arrive clean and ready to wear. I've found that prices are very fair for their type and quality. I still feel ecstatic over each item I've received from this shop. My only complaint is Xtabay's location - on the other side of the country from me! I tried on all kinds of amazing things from fancy furs to demure looking dresses. But alas I did not meet my clothing match that day. Rest assured I will be back to look through this lovely, lovely boutique another day and with any luck, will find something I can't live without on my next hunting trip.
