When she opened it, not only was the texture not what she expected, but the topping wouldn't stick on and it was crusty around the edges. We immediately turned around (within a few minutes) to try to return it and they refused since it had already been opened. To top it all off - she ended up paying $13 because they didn't have .50 change to give her so they just charged her by rounding up. Given the lack of customer service or courtesy (charging a 12 year old more than the price tag!!) we won't be back!

During my last visit, they had some very pretty sweaters, but this year's style is boxy, which doesn't work for my shape. They have a variety of jeans, a nice selection of winter coats and vests, plus there were holiday dresses and pieces on sale. Make sure to check out the clearance in the far back corner. Sprinkled amongst the clothing is some fashion jewelry and gift items. Always worth a stop, as you never know what you will find.

Their demographic is women older than 50, but their clothing selection is trying way too hard to say, "I'm still young." They would do far better with natural fabrics vs polyester, and basic layering pieces and wardrobe staples in solids and neutrals. So that everyone feels like they are wearing a small size, they did away with the standard U.S. sizing of 0-32, and created their own size range of 0-4. The rationale being that with just 5 sizes, no one is labeled plus size. Ridiculous. Everyone knows that size 4 is larger than size 0. And for those that don't shop here frequently, it's challenging to figure out what size pants or top to bring into the dressing room. With just 4-5 sizes, it means that each size fits a variety of sizes and shapes, so the item is either too big or too small. Not a fan. Chicos is big on accessorizing. Their signature style is big, chunky long and short necklaces. Lots of bling, plus belts, scarves and hats. The associates are friendly and helpful. If this is your style, it's a great place to shop, just doesn't work for me.
