My friend got married on Friday the 13th because spooky is her lifestyle. We came in on Valentine's Day the day after her legal wedding to find a dress for her big celebration happening this summer. Her father offered to give her the dress so we were excited to finally see her in a white gown. My Bestie is not the type to wear dresses let alone white. She loves black. Leelu was spectacular at listening to my friend's needs and studying her inspo pics. This was our very first time seeing her in a dress and we were all shocked that throughout the 90 minute appointment my friend was gravitating towards a white dress. Leelu did a fantastic job at letting us make requests. The two requests that our group had was to see my friend in a mermaid gown, which is a childhood dream of hers, and with a veil. We learned that although my best friend has the body of a goddess and looks good in anything, that that was not her preferred shape. We were fortunate enough to find a dress that made my friend happy. Leelu also talked us through the ordering process, shipping, and how to add black appliqué to give it a bit of that spooky vibe that my friend was going for. The shop has seamstresses they can refer you to as well as it is not a service offered in house. We did not purchase the day of as my friend needs to have some conversations with her dad just to make sure that it is within the budget he had in mind. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the dress! It's safe to say our visit was a huge success thanks to Leelu.

I had a friendly employee guide me to an open fitting room, but once I got to the register (with a different employee) she had hardly said a word to me. I don't think I did anything to warrant a no-talking experience over the counter. Maybe she thought I wasn't the right size to be shopping there, I don't know. She just seemed really talkative to the customer ahead of me in line and fell silent when it was my turn to be rung up. I left happy with my purchase but that interaction just made me feel defeated. I know how it feels when someone thinks you don't belong somewhere. I was surprised that I dealt with that here.
