Huge place. The most beautiful HQ I've ever seen. The water in the middle of the facility was breath taking. I loved all of the commemorable history all over the HQ. I was lucky enough to get a virtual tour of Nike HQ via a link a fellow sneaker enthusiast posted on his IG. I would love to visit Nike HQ in person one day to really be able to partake in the history and legacy that Nike as a brand has left on the world. Those of you who know me in person, knows out of all brands, Nike is on the top of my list, if you don't believe me, look at the shoes I always wear to "YEE's". This review is based on what I saw through the virtual tour, but will also have input from me in prospective of how I feel about the brand as a whole. My Ode to Nike.. If comfort and style is a thing I will not complain I owe it to you. Standing in lines with your ticket to get something oh so rare, victory is near. I enjoy every moment, because some will not. I like my Nike shoes, especially the Jordan Brand, some of you may understand. If you don't I don't blame you, this love is only for a select few. I been buying Nike shoes now for the past few years and I have to consider myself lucky when it comes to the "Jordan" brand to get the select pairs that are pretty hard to come by normally. I like on this tour I got to see a section dedicated to the brand and the influence Tinker Hatfield has had with Micheal Jordan and Nike as a whole. Although Nike Produce so much more than just sneakers, the partnerships they have with major organizations now shows how much of a power player they are in the world. Now partnering with the MLB, they continue to be a force to be reckoned with. I decided to visit nike corp hq while on vacation in portland. Since I didn't have a car i took the blue max to millikan way and then bus 62 to the campus. I would suggest visiting on a weekday if possible since on a weekend the buildings are locked down. Im not sure about the parking situation anyways its an open campus and you can enter the building but some have badge readers and the guards will let you browse the lobbies but don't go thru the badge readers. There are multiple cafeterias on the campus and no need to show id to eat just get your food and pay with cash or cc. Disappointing Experience with Nike. As a frequent shopper of trendy clothing and footwear, my recent experience with Nike, left much to be desired. From the product quality to the customer service, every aspect of my interaction with this establishment fell short of expectations. Let's start off with shipping, UGH! how terrible. First of all, it took me 3 weeks to even receive a tracking number. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! Then, once I do receive a tracking number, it won't arrive for another week and a half, again, UNACCEPTABLE!!! So, I'm expecting the product to arrive in a week, next time I check the tracking number, it won't arrive for an extra day. Great. Just great. So whatever right? Just gonna wait I guess. However, I can't help to think, "Hm... maybe, just maybe, the tracking number has updated the delivery date again, and it did... for ANOTHER extended 3 days. So disappointing. I wait another day, check the tracking number again, and what do I see? Surprisingly, it updated for the original day + an extra, the second original day it was supposed to be. Yippie right? Nope. Because the next day I check again, and what do I see? It won't be arriving for 5 days past the original delivery date. At this point I am so fed up. Absolutely NEVER using Nike to ship me products again. Totally, absolutely, and utterly, unacceptable. We'll continue with with the products themselves. Upon receiving my order, I was shocked by the poor quality of the items. The clothing materials felt cheap and flimsy, with stitching that seemed ready to unravel at any moment. As for the shoes, they appeared stylish online, but upon arrival, it was evident that corners had been cut in manufacturing, resulting in uncomfortable fits and inferior craftsmanship. Adding insult to injury was the customer service--or lack thereof. When attempting to address my concerns with the products, I was met with dismissive responses and a complete lack of accountability. It was clear Nike prioritized sales over customer satisfaction, leaving me feeling undervalued and frustrated. Furthermore, the online shopping experience was riddled with issues. The website was clunky and difficult to navigate, making it a challenge to find the items I wanted. Shipping was also delayed without explanation, further adding to the sense of disappointment and inconvenience. In conclusion, my experience with Nike was nothing short of disappointing. From the poor product quality to the lackluster customer service and frustrating online shopping experience, it's evident that this establishment falls short of delivering on its promises. Sometimes, in the marathon atmosphere, I think my shoes get a little bit of a complex amongst a sea of Asics. I tried numerous pairs of Asics and just never felt comfortable in them. Don't worry, I take extra special care of my Nikes and remind them of just how special they are to me. I'm almost onto my third set of Air Zoom Elite Bowermans and it's an undying love affair. Last time I checked, Asics can't tell you how long, far and fast you ran with the added bonus of total calories burned. My Nikes do. :) I'm also 13 miles shy of receiving a free Nike t-shirt for hitting the 500 mile mark. Can your shoes do that? read more

never ever buy a gift card from nike! their website kept giving me error messages when i tried to get one for my nephew....but i finally got one purchase to go through! then i find out i was charged for every failed attempt! i contacted customer service and spoke with darlene, who was very helpful and promised me the $400 refund i was due. a couple days later i got an email from nike telling me to f* completely off, that no refund was forthcoming. needless to say, i won't spend another dime at nike ever...and you shouldn't either. nike cannot be trusted! i am only sorry that zero stars was an option here. read more

Had a nice lunch on the NIke World Campus with a friend from University of Portland who proudly wore his Nike polo. He treated us to the upscale cafeteria for Nike employees and guests. I had a gourmet salad bar that rivaled that of Whole Foods. It was a really great experience eating outside by the lake, watching ducks eat scraps around tables, and seeing the campus. read more

Nothing to see. Nike drives me crazy given the amount of money the world and chiefly Americans have spent on the brand, I feel this location should damn near have a rollercoaster for Nike enthusiasts let alone a humble Visitors Centre. My lady and I drove here on a recent trip to the FANTASTIC and highly underrated city of Portland and to my surprise there was really nothing here for fans. Even Apple has maintained at least a gift shop in Cupertino for ten years or more now, and its disappointing that a company with the public heritage that Nike possess has not followed on the same path with offering something exclusive to fans who have made the pilgrimage to this Historic Site. Yes, pilgrimage! Michael Jordan and Tinker Hatfield both deserve statues on the grounds, and they should be open to fans. All the things companies like Nike do at places like the NBA All Star Game or at the NFL Pro Bowl in terms of pop up exhibitions and other showcases should be present here on the Nike HQ or adjacent and it pains me, a company that literally owew it's entire existence to the people, has seemingly shuts it's doors to fans. If I could give their customer service a 0, I would. I have tried talking to about 5 different reps and they all want to point me in different directions because no one knows. I finally asked to be connected to a manager, Arvin, who was the worst. He literally told me "I cannot help you, sorry." What manager doesn't even want to try to help you? If you have any questions, good luck getting thru to their customer service. They basically say there is nothing they can do. I hope no one ever has to deal with Arvin. This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced I called the customer service number and one person told me the shoes should have been delivered and they must have been stolen! After telling her that the shoes with my daughters nickname on them she proceeded to try to order another pair and said she did not see that they where ordered with her nickname! Then she hung up on me ! When I called back I talk to somebody that said the shoes were not going to be shipped out for another three weeks and he could not tell me if the Oder had the nickname attached or not ! The website is a little annoying with the multiple menus that tend to disappear right when you get to where you want to go and then want to go backwards. Besides that, the assortment and selection is pretty good. The best thing about Nike is the sizing is somewhat consistent with the item description. They list all of the outlet-type stuff in the Sale/Clearance section as well. You can find some really cool stuff for cheap! So, if you're looking for that one style of running shoe that was made last year, this is the place for you. Shipping is rather quick and well packaged. Returns can be taken to your nearest Niketown. I don't own any Nike gear for running However, I love running at the Nike Campus. It's lovely and such a hard workout with many intervals, paths, and the wood chips are much harder to run in than pavement. The grounds are so well manicured. Parking is easy as well on the street with easy access to the paths. My only complaint is that the rest of the grounds are off limits to the general public. I hear there workout facility is spectacular. read more

If you are looking for a place to run or walk, this is arguably one of the best in the exceptional Portland area. The Nike campus has wood chip, concrete and asphalt paths. It is full of trees and plants, which are filling the space around the trails and buildings. This area features a large pond and several sports fields, and even has a full track hidden in the woods. You can run through Nike from THPRD or Tualatin Hills Nature Park, and as long as you keep moving and you stay out of construction areas or buildings, nobody will stop you and demand to see your employee ID. If you want, hop over to Hollister Trail across the street, which, despite the signs saying "authorized personnel only", is open to pretty much anyone and offers a flat, wooded 1.5 mile loop. read more

Do not purchase Nike goods. This company does not care about providing excellent customer service. They only want your money and cannot even spare $50 compensation or perhaps a coupon for future discounts. I called numerous times to try to resolve my issue and finally got a manager who told me I can't do anything it's our policy. I obviously know your policy it's your job to make your customers satisfied if you want to keep loyal customers. Definitely exceptions can be made to policies and accommodations to each situation however, nobody seems to care at Nike. In our case someone hacked in a system and stole our gift card information used it shortly after it was purchased. There needs to be higher level of security in the gift cards. Many people are getting ripped off by no fault of their own and Nike doesn't care. Is this a good company to purchase from? We have choices in retailers when Nike resolves issues in this matter they do not deserve business from loyal customers, shop elsewhere. read more

Nike has lost its edge/leadership in "Design and Quality Control". Recently purchased Running shoes (plastic and unsatisfactory polyester exteriors) only to return the sneakers. As an avid Nike consumer, I will not purchase a Nike product again. Nor will I recommend to colleagues, family or friends. Nike should be offended for marketing "inferior" products. I purchased a gift card online for a loved one's birthday. As the consumer in this digital age, I had expectations that I would receive this gift card immediately (or within the same hour). Should this not be the case, it should be stated in plain sight for the consumer to review before purchase. I purchased this as a last minute gift and to my surprise I still haven't received it. (Order was placed 5/7 & today is 5/8) I understand that verification might be required, which is why I reached out on 5/7. I called customer service and they did not advise me that my purchase would be subject to additional verification. Had I known the process was going to be this difficult, I would have taken my business elsewhere as I have many more choices when it comes the place I spend my money. Hi fellow Americans. Just wanted to share my Nike Tennis shoe experience with you. I bought a pair of new Nike court Ballistic 4.1 tennis shoes in March, 2012. Here I am two months later, a day away from state championships and I need a new pair because the Nike's already have a hole in it so large that my toe sticks out of the shoe! I called and spoke to Nike about the problem and their response was to make me jump through a few hoops (understandable) for a credit voucher. What I though was unfair was that this voucher could only be used online and I was responsible for shipping costs both ways, which as you know is a lot these days. So after being wronged by this billion dollar corporate conglomerate with a faulty product, these cheapskates are sticking me with shipping costs and wronging me again under the guise of customer service. Hardly customer service when I'm having to produce an original receipt, fill out a warranty form, box and return defective shoes, plus pay an additional $25 to $40 to right their wrong! I've gotten ten to twelve months of use from Adidas and other brands of shoes. My advice is don't buy Nike.... Just DON'T Do It!!! read more
