Usually pretty well stocked with all the essentials in larger quantities without the crowds of Costco if you just need a few items. I love the variety of Torani syrups for coffee and smoothies. From seasonings, frozen items and everything in between this store has things for the common household or a small business. This store saves me time since its so close to home. read more

The staff seems very nice. The lines are very very long every time I go to checkout. If you're looking for frozen items, aisle 17 not aisle 1. Might save you some time shopping. The only time I shop at this store is for Instacart. The prices seem a little on the steep side to me but if I am cooking it's normally for a small number of people so I could be wrong. read more

Used to go here for years but had to boycott abruptly for my own safety. Women are not safe here. Was accosted by a manager, had my personal space violated, was followed out to my vehicle, and threatened. No apology, formal report to HR did nothing. I never returned. Go to the Tigard Chefstore, it's lightyears ahead of this one. It's clean, modern, always well-stocked, items are easy to find, 100% of the employees are kind and friendly, the parking lot is safe, the area is safe, and the bathrooms are actually clean. My wife and I shop there every other week for groceries. They have a great selection. We like buying drumsticks seafood and some jalapeños in a bag. If you're looking for a nice large bulk items you can get them their cash and carry and at times you can get in there and get out so it's pretty quick service. read more

This is a great place to buy in bulk but also for general groceries! It's fun to explore the aisles too. The service is always prompt and the employees are always very nice and offer carry out too. They always seem to be in a good mood which as a customer just makes the shopping trip pleasant and more enjoyable too. Another bonus is the staff really goes above and beyond for the customer, one instance was when I was calling about Memorial day hours and before I could ask the question the staff member on the phone said Hi and said the hours from the beginning. The selection of items is great from paper plates to frozen items and everything in between like candy and condiments. Parking isn't an issue although it gets crowded fast and plenty of boxes to store your items in as well, conveniently located by the entrance and exit of the store. read more

This is the store to go to if you're looking for restaurant supplies. This is the giant box that does not need membership. Granted that I'm saying that, the supplies they have are somewhat limited but the prices are good. The place is relatively half the size of a regular grocery store and quadruple the size of a convinience store. You know those syrups that they use for Italian Sodas & coffee/ tea? They have almost all the flavors and 3 major brands there. It almost occupies half of the isle. I haven't had the chance on going in their meat and vegetable section. It feels cold 5 feet from the door and I don't have any plans on getting 25lbs of broccoli. Bacon, maybe. ;) Minus one star for looking unkept and dingy. read more

I heard great things about this place so I had high hopes. As a bargain shopper and family of 5, it sounded great. And some of the items were quite unique. Definitely worth it if you have a small business and can buy the huge bulk items. But for us, I found much of the pricing high. Per pound, the cheeses are cheaper at Costco. Per ounce, barbecue sauce is cheaper at Winco, so why buy a 10 pound jar of it? The restaurant items were interesting and if I'm in the area I'll stop in for a look at the sales. The restaurant cooking aisle was fun and some of the frozen items I haven't seen other places. But even with a family of 5, the prices weren't worth me buying a case of frozen shrimp. Definitely a fun place to visit. Some of the prices, however, were deceptively high (laundry detergent was actually double my price point), so be a careful shopper here. read more

only been here a couple times but did notice that wow there is a lot of things and huge in quantity. I think I may have giggled over the bag of lemons that was half my height. not everything here is in bulk though thank goodness since I am a family of one with cats..... yeas I am just 2 cats away from being a crazy cat lady.. I keep forgetting that this place is just a mile or so from my house. Way closer than any of the Costcos in these parts. There are some great deals and I have yet to buy any food here. I mostly come to stock up on jello shot cups. I know, important stuff, right? My most recent visit was to purchase utensils and supplies (i.e plates, cups, etc) for my dad's birthday extravaganza. I was prepared to pay more than what it all ended being. The best thing about this is that you don't need a membership to buy anything here. That's wonderful. Ok, I come here all the time and I love this place but you that work their and dont help people. That tell an 85 yr old woman that whatever is in their is it, instead of moving your lazy ass and help her maybe try to find it. What happened to respect, appreciation for having a job for being able to work. I dont think it's to hard or much to ask that you could just put a little extra effort into your job to help customers. There is one guy in their that ir awesome but hes the younger one. If you guys read this from the company tell the employee that always seems like he hates his job to change his attitude. I was in cash &carry on July 4th. I was truly irritated with the two men working the registers. Though I realize it's not politically correct, I did not get the names of the guys , so I don't want the wrong employees fingered. There was a conversation between the two guys one was an middle aged tall Caucasian guy, and the other was the older, taller Asian guy. To start with , I was waiting to be checked out, and a customer ran back to get something, so when the guy said I'll get you here, I said the lady ran to get something. He completely ignored me and responded in a manner that implied, he did not care ,and he had no intention of waiting for her to return, he firmly stated, " I'll take you here," as he pointed to the register. Then, while checking myself and another person out he and the guy on the next register were actually having a conversation about how, "stupid ," we as customers are. It went like this, " Yeah, I told the lady we are the same place , just dropping part of the name cause after 60 some years it's too hard for people to remember the name of this place, we got some real smart people that shop here. " Then the other guy adds, "I tell you what gets me, it's when they call and ask are we open, I'm like yeah, but I'm a recording, then I talk to them like,... please push 1 to talk to a person, and 2 if you want to know where we're at , hahahaha, where do these people come from." During their lower than ignorant conversation, I told the one waiting on me that I had a return, he never acknowledged me, thus I asked if he heard me, his response was " Yeah," in a tone as if I was bothering him. Clearly the two employees were illiterate, their limited conversation proved that. However, you would think they'd at least have sense enough not to display their stupidity in front of customers. Then when I'm leaving , the employee says, " Have a nice day, and Happy 4th." Really after you two just implied that we as customers are just stupid! Actually , prior to this visit, I have been quite pleased with the service, other employees have gone out of their way to show where to find a product, they offer me help out, and if I have in any way been a bother, I never felt as if I was imposing or asking too much, and I always left the store with a good attitude. Thus, I was especially upset when I left yesterday. Sadly, I now feel a little different about shopping there. Though I has see these two guys before, this was my first interaction with them, and if I return, I honestly do not want to deal with either of them again. read more

I called and saved a box of sweet potato since my regular tigard location ran out and it's for a big church event. I called a second time to put my name on it because I was running behind on time and didn't want them to give it away and the guy said it's okay they're just saving it by check out. I got there 25 minutes after I called and I guess it was on a cart of produce that needed to be thrown out so it got thrown away too. The worker who threw it away said he didn't know it was being saved because who ever grabbed it put it on the throw away cart... and this is why I called to put my name on it so that ALL the workers knew it was being saved for a customer. Primarily geared toward small food type businesses, but this is THE place to get all sorts of spices, seasonings, and especially meat. Also a great place to go if you are looking for restaurant style cooking pans or utensils for making larger batch meals. Think small and local costco. read more

Daily's bacon is the only way to go... this is the best bacon you can get. Our favorite burger joint Canyon grill only uses this bacon and the owner Perry was so kind as to reveal to us where we can buy it for home use. I love the frozen bags of soup you can get also, they taste just as good as if I slaved over a hot stove all day to make it. My husband drinks coffee and I drink hot cocoa, Cash & carry has a HUGE selection of flavored syrup to add. My favorite is the peanut butter, it makes fabulous hot cocoa. read more

one thing to remember shopping here is that not everything here is a deal (I'd say it's a crap shoot). I'd suggest you check out their website for "Hot Sheet" items as you'll find the actual good deal (or two) there. (I've gotten Mirin and curry paste at a great price as they were Hot Sheet items. Plastic utensil was a bargain too). Every time I check out their produce section, I'm reminded this store is mainly for restaurant business - you won't find anything organic and the quality is rather... let's just say I haven't bought any produce here. A lot of frozen seafood I checked had "Made in China". Packaged fresh beef and pork didn't have where they're from (it's quite possible they were written in font size 3 somewhere, but I certainly didn't see it). If I could rate a -1 or no stars at all that would be better.. this place hires the worst uncaring unkind employees ever. When they try and over charge you for something that they advertised is on sale at a particular price . And I point out that the item is on sale ...the low i.q. employee asks me ...so do you want the 19 cents discount . Well yes I want the sale price. Why would I want to pay full price for the item I told you was listed on sale. Than he tells you well, you gotta fill out a form for the 19 cents with bla bla bla here bla bla bla their....I have to sign my life away to receive the right price you listed in your own store? And than have a fat ugly guy talk down to me because I choose to take the sale price instead of paying full price? I understand that you possible had to do more work by producing a useless form designed to reduce people from getting a better deal on a item...so up yours cash and carry!!! read more

Yesterday while I was paying for my groceries two of the employees were having a conversation with a customer boasting about Trump's presidential victory and mocking Clinton supporters. I said to them, "A conversation about politics at a place of business is in very poor form regardless of your views." Where they proceeded to tell me they were just enjoying their victory. I reminded them that their "victory" further disenfranchised THEIR customers, immigrants, PoC, and women and that they were, of course, welcome to any values that they have, but as a business it's a bad idea to trash YOUR CUSTOMERS in front of YOUR CUSTOMERS. They laughed at me. When I said I'd be happy to shop somewhere that treated ALL customers with respect one of the employees said, "I'm sorry you were offended."
