Dollar Tree stores are a chain of discount variety stores. There are over 14,000 locations in the 48 contiguous states and Canada. Dollar Tree stores aptly fill a need for low end retail merchandise. All items sold here are priced at one dollar or less. Dollar Tree carries a good variety of merchandise including health and beauty, food, seasonal holiday items, party supplies, cards and gift bags, housewares, glassware, pet supplies, toys, baby items, cleaning supplies and more. There are name brand items as well as private label items. The dollar price tag is reasonable given the quality of the items sold here. Name brand items are packaged in a smaller size in order to be sold for one dollar. Although I'm not a regular shopper of Dollar Tree, I do visit the store whenever I need mylar balloons, cards and gift bags, holiday decor and flower vases. The employees at this location have always been courteous and helpful. Whenever I have visited this store, it has been busy, yet it always looks neat and well organized.

Cutest gifts for an affordable budget. Friendly cashiers and the best place to buy quality greeting cards. They have Hallmark brand here.

For a dollar store this one is pretty good. A lot of their selection is pretty predictably dollar quality, but in the dishes aisle they have some amazingly cheap deals, i just got a pint glass with cute fruits on it for $1. Also, Giant box of Rainbow Nerds for $1! Three awesome sunglasses for only $1 each!!! Where can you beat that? Yay.

Hard to believe a person can get anything for a buck these days but this store proves me wrong.

I usually try to get a place so that the lines (the do not park here) are for my door because sometimes bending to get in or out of the car is more difficult if swollen etc. I was just starting to open my door and a gent flew into the lined space nearly taking my door off so that he could argue with his wife and teen as to who was going into a store. I was seriously paralyzed with fear - seriously dude... I am already in ADA, please don't kill me! SOOOO, apparently park here with caution. This was on a Friday so perhaps it is rougher heading into the weekend. I will say that the store does seem light on clothing and heavier on home things. I did see entirely too much I wanted to take home. Getting through the registers was pretty fast even with how busy the store was which was nice indeed. And, as with all these type of stores - some of the best things are in the line on shelves.

Anyways, when I entered there was a kind lady who greeted me and offered to help me wipe the cart handle down. I didn't need it but am happy to see someone helps sanitize it before you use it. There was also a person who greeted me and was counting how many customers entered and also had plenty of sanitizers for us to use. There were arrows to guide you but this Marshalls and probably like many others, are quite crowded. Everything is very close so you'll be very close to people too if it's a busy day. I guess those who don't mind can be close together but I tend to wait till the aisle is less busy before I check it out. I didn't buy anything but noticed they have a white wall between each cashier and customer.

Everything is on camera. I was pretty much the last customer at the store and she was right before me, right at closing time around 11:50 pm on December 27th. Manager on duty covered up for their manager/coworker and started speaking Spanish with her so I don't understand what they're saying, and employees and security acted like they didn't see anything, or they couldn't because they can't speak up against managers while I was seeking their help and no body cared for my safety!!! Everything is on camera clearly as there were at least 6 cameras near by the cashier near the line where I was standing, cameras should have all voice and picture. My blood pressure is still high-- it's not normal this is serous! Verbal threats and physically I was ran by this off duty Ross-Dress-for-Less manager/employee, who was wearing glasses, about 5'4 short heavy round build medium dark tan skin with a few freckles on face and about late 40-s to mid 50-s. I don't need to be killed or go through this just because I asked her if she wanted to check out before me. I asked her politely if she wanted to check out before me as I wasn't ready. She ran me over by her cart and used offensive and threatening language even started cussing me in Spanish. Physically right now I'm still shaking and my heart is palpating quickly still after 3 hours. Had I not say that I was going to call the police if she takes it further. This is not ok, this complaint needs to be raised to the legal department if I'm able to survive this night.

I love me a Marshall's! Located off the high traffic area of NW 185th and NW Evergreen Parkway, just off of Highway 26, thisis not really a mall or even a strip mall. It's a ginormous parking lot with several cross roads creating clusters of stores. You can't really walk from one area to the next so plan on getting in and out of your car. Drive the entire area so you can see all of the options. There are several big box stores that attract customers - Target, Best Buy, Ethan Allen Furniture, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Office Depot, Michael's Crafts and Old Navy. Plus lots of discount stores - Marshall's, Sierra Trading Post, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta Beauty, and Famous Footware. That's a lot of discount stores! They even have a Petco and one of the few remaining Barnes & Nobles with a Starbucks attached and another Starbucks with a drive through across the street. Smaller stores and services round it out - AT&T Phone store, Sprint, See's Candy, Batteries Plus, Aspen Dental, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of the West and an Urgent care. Even 2 gas stations. Sprinkled along the perimeter are a plethora of popular fast food restaurants (McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Burger King, Chic-Filet, Shari's', Panda Express, Carl's Jr.). Isn't that crazy? They are all always busy so obviously there is a need. With so many high tech businesses and huge townhome complexes nearby, they know their demographic. I'm not a fast food person so used to visit Thai Orchid for their chicken curry or vermicelli noodle dish. Bummed that they are no longer in business here or at the location on West Burnside. When I shop here, it's usually with a purpose like I need craft supplies at Michael's, athletic wear is on sale at Old Navy or most likely, I need my Marshall's fix! When I worked in the area I would often stop here after work so I could take care of a lot of errands in one general area, fill up on gas and head home on 26.

The store is huge, has many departments - swim, camping, women's, men's and children's apparel, hiking, biking, hats and accessories, fitness items, winter coats, rain gear and more. But within some areas, there is hardly any merchandise. For example, the Swim section was minimal. There was a big sign and display, but turns out that was it. Literally just a handful of swimsuits, one or two rash guards, no goggles, fins or gear. Did I mention just a handful of swimsuits? Was highly disappointed but since I was there, decided to walk the aisles. The vast majority of the store is filled with clothing. Racks and racks of clothing. Like it's sister store and neighbor, Marshall's, they must get leftover clothing from other stores and sell at a discount. There are definitely good finds among the racks, but I wasn't shopping for clothing and didn't have the patience. Ended up buying a wide brimmed sun hat with SPF of 50 for just $16.99. There were only three customers at the checkout but it still seemed to take forever. Of course this area is filled with a plethora of spontaneous purchases - trail mix, gadgets of every kind, hiking books, flashlights, etc. For me, Sierra will never be a destination like Marshall's where I will go far out of my way to visit. But for those who want outdoorsy clothing, this could be your Marshall's.

I agree that a lot of the items are cheaper brands but we were able to find name brand items from Nike, ADIDAS, Under Armour pretty easily and some were even NWT. The quality of items vary so you do need to look at things carefully but that's how it goes at any thrift shop. Overall, the prices were good, the selection was substantial and everyone working the event was incredibly kind and helpful. I would say the best times to go would either be the first day of the event (presale) because you get first pick of items OR the last day of the sale when they do significant markdowns. I did mark down one star because I do wish volunteers were a little more discerning when accepting items. We did see some things in pretty poor shape but overall most of the clothing, toys, and books we looked at were in decent condition.

I'm sure the owners are doing their best as this is a LOT of work, but the website has outdated information on how to tag items with somewhat updated information coming through emails. That's hard to reference when I'm actually in the thick of trying to tag things and there were only a few sentences without any pictures, but I did my best to follow the text and black and white clipart online as best I could. When I was belatedly added to the Facebook group after waiting (again, very busy time and understandable), there was infinitely more information about what exactly I was supposed to do with tagging, I did it wrong, and all of my 100+ clothing items would be rejected by inspectors. It's very frustrating, and I hope the owners get an admin or someone with organizational skills to update the actual website so very important information for people not used to using tagging guns/consigning on their own can get the information they need in the future without wasting the seller's time, the inspector's time, and ruining their items.
