RECORD IF YOU GO IN! The worst home goods location by far. Upon entering the store I began in the food section. The employee stocking the area came less than an inch away from touching me four repeated times. I think moved across the store to the towel section where two employees loudly blocked my exit from the aisle. I then saw the employee that I had moved away from. Then I moved to the art section where the man who I believe must of been the manager was lingering. I then moved to the blanket/throw section, I left my cart at the end of the row, to which a different employee moved my cart out into the aisle and left it. I shopped some more and encountered more employees. At check out the cashier stopped once she was almost done and told me that she needed to rescan my entire transaction. She then did not hand me my receipt at the end to which I had to take it. She then proceeded to shout all the way to the end of the checkout row to where she was. At the end of the checkout stand, as I went towards the door, two employees were blocking the exit. They were having a discussion with one of their friends at the exit. This is the most uncomfortable shopping experience I have had at a store. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and that due to the employees, I was unable to shop peacefully. The BEST HomeGoods I ever been too! Their selection is great but I never been to any retails store that provides such a great customer service like them. This gentlemen offered me to grab a cart, then he also offended to put it away as I walked out from store. I will definitely come back to the location! read more

I don't know what happened - likely different management but this has rapidly moved to my favorite location. Their stock is probably TRIPLE what the one by me is like which is crazy but I was blown away as to how much stock they had when I went! I also found several things I was convinced that I was not going to find at any location! Just wow! Ok Full disclosure -I did not make a purchase from here but I would totally go back to make one because the inventory here is so much better than any of the other Portland Homegoods. I stopped by to make a return because I was in the area and obviously one cant leave Home Goods without taking a quick peak . The store is huge and has a lot to offer. Plus so many options and versions of the same thing that you would have a hard time picking -which is exactly what happened with me . The only section I felt was lacking where the artificial flowers and foliage was . The shelves were empty and needed to be restocked . My interaction with the staff was fairly friendly and they went out of their way to make things right on my return . read more

The Tigard HomeGoods is the Queen of all HomeGoods in the Portland area! Seeing the shoppers come out with carts loaded or lugging furniture or art, their faces beaming with the satisfaction of a fantastic "find," makes me smile with anticipation and excitement. This location is always fully stocked, packed, loaded with items. Even during the holidays! Far more selection and quantity than the other stores, which I also frequent. Yes, they have the rows and rows of pillows, dishes/glasses/serving ware, art, decor, lamps, pet gear, bedding, and food items. But within each section is a far greater variety. During the holidays when it's a challenge for two carts, and sometimes two cartless people, to pass each other in an aisle, I found some of my best purchases. Squished into a corner was a collection of led lit twig trees, of every size, the kind they sell at Restoration or Crate & Barrel or zGallerie for up to $300+ for the 8 foot tree. They were not "fluffed" out so other shoppers didn't see the potential, but I knew what they were! As soon as I would fluff one out to see the size, someone would come in and swipe it! While I was fluffing and selecting, I probably helped sell a dozen! I ended up getting one 8ft ($69), one 4ft ($29) and two table tops ($14) that transformed my new condo into a winter wonderland! Best part, they fold in to nothing and can easily be stored in a tiny spot in my closet. A few days later I went back and they no longer had stock of the white birch version, and didn't for the rest of the season, which reinforces the notion that when you see something, buy it! It becomes an addiction! I've bought large show stopping pieces of art that look like they cost far more than $125. The 9x12 foot modern area rug that defines my dining room is a steal at $299. My condo adorns mirrors, occasional tables, vases, succulent arrangements, serving pieces, lamps, kitchen gadgets, faux fur rugs, silk palm trees and so much more! Even my cats sleep in beds and play on cat towers found at HomeGoods! Lines are long but move quickly. During the week, go when the store opens at 10:00 or after the lunch crowd. From 12-1:00 it's insantity but at 1:15, it's peaceful shopping. This is the store to visit for whatever you need or if you don't need anything. Service was excellent from entrance to checkout! All of the staff were friendly and helpful to me while I browsed an endless variety of goods for the home. I have a 4000 square foot home and live alone, so I ended up buying about two and a half thousand dollars worth of these goods! And oh my gosh the most innocent and sweet checkout attendee Karina was pleasant the entire hour that she spent carefully wrapping each important and fragile item! Tons of opening day excitement for this second large store in the renovated and rechristened Nyberg Rivers shopping center just off I-5. Goodbye Walmart, hello upscale shopping in my old home town. Between the flood of people checking out Cabela's and HomeGoods, good luck finding parking. And New Seasons opens next week. The staff was helpful and they seemed to move shoppers relatively quickly through the line that at one point stretched all the way through the store. I've enjoyed shopping at the other locations in Oregon, and the size of the store and selection of items seems consistent with their other Oregon locations. There is a fair bit of whimsy, like the full sized gold horse, mixed in with practical home decor items. read more

Ah Home Goods. The ultimate in don't know exactly what you need shopping. There is always something new. That said it's hard to get two carts to easily pass each other in the narrow, overstuffed isles. Whatever you are looking for it's probably here- lamps, small furniture, mirrors, decor, glassware, plates cookware, seasonal merchandise, toys & games, bedding, etc. If you are willing to brave the chaos and crowds it's likely you may find a treasure or fourteen. read more

I really do love home goods stores. I was so excited to hear that we would get one in Tualatin which is much closer to where I live. Location wise it's really great since it's next to new seasons and Michael's. However you would think A store in a high-end neighborhood would get better merchandise. Store never feels like it's terribly full and it doesn't seem to get as many new things as the Beaverton store does. Clearance here is a little bit light as well. If I happen to be in this part of town I'll stop in otherwise I'd rather make the extra trek over to Beaverton or even by the airport read more

My daughter relocated to Portland last week, so we drove to the Tualatin location to purchase home decor and accessories for her new home. I love shopping at this store since there is a wide assortment of items and employees are friendly and helpful. However this evening the cashier (Diane) was in a very sour mood- - -which must have carried over from yesterday since I observed Diane snapping at another customer last night. Today we purchased a fragile serving platter from Portugal, so I asked Diane to wrap the platter in paper to protect it from other ceramic items we purchased. Diane did not want to wrap the platter as she complained the paper was too small for the platter, so I offered to wrap it myself. That's when Diane snapped at me, because she decided to wrap the item after all. It really wasn't a big deal for me to wrap it- - - I used to work in retail when I was in college. If Diane doesn't enjoy the retail environment, she should work in the stock room where she doesn't have to interface with customers; or find another job. I love to get a good bargain, so stored like this are made for me. Like most bargain stores that means you have to come often. Sometimes you will find a ton of great stuff and sometimes you walk out empty handed. I can only give it three stars because they don't keep the floor stocked well enough. They should know they were going to be busy with their grand opening being close to the holidays. They also never have enough carts. Management needs to assign someone to get the carts out of the parking lot. Because the place is so busy people have to park far away and they are not going to bring their carts back. read more

I started going into home goods about six months ago, looking for Rae Dunn pottery. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a lot of great home decor. I especially like all the wall Decor. I frequent home goods at least 4 to 5 times weekly. I am always greeted with a smile and friendly Hello. I always Have at least one if not more sales associate ask me if I need help finding anything. My usual reply is I'm just looking, especially since everyday new stock is coming out and I like to see what is available. The store associate will always let me know that if I need any help what so ever, to please let them know. I have found that the entire staff at home goods is very customer friendly and I highly recommend that if you have never been in there or it's been awhile to come in and check it out. So, we're in the middle of pandemic, yet the store's own employees are not adhering to the mandate to stand six feet apart. I get that people are doing their best, but when I mention that you should stand six feet from me, don't give me a sh**ty attitude about how rubbing shoulders with me "is six feet." We've been to this store several times recently to try and snatch up Halloween goods before they're gone and have had NUMEROUS poor experiencing. We even watched a "manager" tell people walking in to the store before they close "we close in 15, so you better make it quick." Who says that!?! I understand you are trying to close, but just notifying people of the time before you close should be sufficient. Yes, we're in a pandemic, but maybe work on your customer service skills a little more and have care for the people who are shopping at your location. read more

Reading the reviews that mention how 'not' stocked this location is compared to others, is quite accurate. If I still lived in Beaverton I would be at the Canyon Rd store at least once a week. In Tualatin it seems you have to hit the correct day right after a shipment...and in the morning. I have been frequenting this store since they opened and, for example, the bed sheets display is always less then half full. One morning it was so full the drawers underneath had product. This was a first during one of my visits in the last 6 months. On this particular morning the whole store was stocked very well. read more

I just want to take it all in. Everywhere I look, things are beautiful, prices are affordable and it's just my happy place. I don't know if it's because this place just recently opened (I think?) or if they were waiting on a big shipment or what, but this location seemed kinda short in terms of merchandise. I'm a big sucker for these kinds of stores, and I love the location near the Pdx airport. I can wander endlessly and just shop around for nothing in particular. The store is nicely set up and easy to shop. When looking around at areas where we had needs for home we were dissappointed at the either amount of out of stocks or low stock with a lot of items we were interested in. Friendliest person was the cleaning lady who was the only person on the sales floor that greeted or engaged me. Prices were pretty reasonable and we got a few things, but the lack of some items cut our spend a little short. read more

This place is so fun to shop any day of the week! I bought a couple of apothecary jars here , they had the best selection in town! The product does get switched up so you know when you go in it's not going to be the same. the furniture is very chic and not at all cheap looking. read more
