I've never been inside of a Warby Parker, or really ever paid them much attention when in the mall. However, when I stepped inside I was like a kid in a candy store. With so many frames to try on, I was in face candy heaven. The experience at Warby Parker is not quite what I'm used to from my traditional eye doctors. Where I'm use to an associate taking their time and walking me through various glasses that best fit the shape of my face while I play model. The experience at Warby Parker was more self-led. They explained how the frames were categorized around the store and then pretty much just let me walk around until I was ready to pay. One associate did ask me if I needed any assistance, but that was about all. After trying on a ton of frames I finally narrowed my selection down to one pair and went off to an associate to pay. At my regular eye doctors, the associate would walk me through any special features for my glasses and how much they'll cost given my insurance discount. However, the young lady helping me forgot to ask me if I had insurance and it wasn't until after I paid, I remembered the insurance. This resulted in her having to cancel the order and redo it. I personally feel a discussion about insurance should be a given conversation with each customer, so I found that a bit odd. But otherwise, still a decent experience. I do plan on visiting Warby Parker again for my next pair of glasses, because they have some really cute frames. But I'll stick to my normal eye doctor for my exam and next time make sure to mention my insurance upfront.

She's young, hip, very well-informed, and has a super positive energy. I'm the kind of patient that has a thousand questions and she flew through all of them with me without missing a beat. I couldn't believe how much more comfortable they were! She is super well-versed in contact lens fitting and gave me good advice regarding Lasik surgery for my intense nearsightedness. My wife tried to make an appoint with the office and, because we do not have insurance, was put on hold for so long that she finally gave up and made an appoint with a different eyecare office. For all the years we both were patients, we paid for our exams and glasses at the time of the fitting, but I guess that was not even considered. I decided to try the office again in July, and paid for my exam and glasses at that time. At the end of January, we received a $25.00 bill with a threat of a $30.00 late payment in 10 days. We had no idea this additional money was owed and asked why a call couldn't have been made instead of the nasty notes. The reply from Ashley was, "We can't call everyone who owes us money!" The bill was paid, and they have lost two long-time patients.

After that, I was told the doctor wasn't even in that day, so I had to reschedule yet again. Overall, the experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
