I work in a dental office, just because a pt doesn't confirm, his appt doesn't get deleted. The kicker is they resched our appts last week cuz the doctor we were sched with had a death in the family. Not going back. Wouldn't recommend this company if your looking for good customer service.

I was told the the way I choose to wear my glasses is impossible (even though I've been wearing them the same way for years). Stopped in this evening at the Campbell Blvd location and the ladies at the desk were able to successfully adjust my glasses so I could wear them comfortably. And they did so without an attitude. I would have gone to the Campbell location initially but wasn't able to b/c they didn't have any available appts on short notice. Thank you so much to the ladies at the Campbell location.

But I had become increasingly dissatisfied with the services and prices at Katzen. When I last went and the doctor didn't catch that I needed bifocals and I tried to live life without being able to see anything while wearing my new $400 pair of glasses, I decided to start researching other options. America's Best was the choice closest to my home. I made an appointment and couldn't believe that I didn't have to wait six months to be seen. They scheduled me for the next week! I didn't have high expectations for the service. The doctors and technicians at Katzen always have a difficult time using their equipment on me because my neck and spine are fused and I can't rest my chin on the chin rest so they can puff the air or shine the bright white light into my retina. But all the equipment at America's Best are mounted on a table which raises and lowers. I didn't even have to get out of my wheelchair for any of it. The technician, Savannah, was sweet and understanding and never made me feel like my body was making her day more complex than necessary. I did have to get out of my wheelchair and into the exam chair for the doctor, though. It wasn't an issue for me. That's one of the reasons I travel with Jeremy. He picks me up and puts me down in the places I need to be. The doctor was quick and efficient and figured out my new bifocal prescription lickety split. This was the very first time in my life that I could choose any frame that I wanted. I was overwhelmed and went with the first pair that I saw that resembled the frames that I already wore. I'm really not comfortable trying on glasses. I don't enjoy looking in the mirror. I probably could have found something cheaper, but it didn't occur to me to ask at the time. The glasses were ready for pick up within two weeks. Savannah helped me again, making sure they fit properly, and reminded me that I could come in again at any time to get them adjusted, if/when needed. It's been weird being able to see again. I thought it would take longer for me to get used to the line in the middle of the lens. Getting old sure is an adventure!

When the customer finally left, Amanda followed her outside of the store and continued cussing at her. I thought it was just a crazy Customer. Fast forward pasted all of the drama I had to go through here same thing happened to me. I asked her for her name. She refused to give it to me so I took a photo of her to make a complaint to Corporate so they knew who I was dealing with. She told me she was going to contact her attorney and that she had my personal information and knows what to do with it. She even followed me outside of the store took a picture of me and my car, which I gladly smiled and waved for. Threatening someone with their personal information is unacceptable. That information is supposed to be protected. I'm not the only one saying this about Amanda read the reviews. She is definitely unhinged and unstable. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 minutes to the location in middle River. Their customer service and manager are phenomenal. People like Amanda should not be in customer service let alone be a manager. If you have an experience with her like this, I suggest you call Corporate and make a complaint because this is unacceptable. We can't let tyrants like this ruin our business

Other then loving the pretty frames I selected, I have nothing good to say. I have been having terrible headaches and eye strain from the Costco lenses. Customer service and information matters. Website and Google reads the clinic doesn't open until…read more8:30. Clinic makes an appointment with a customer for 8. Patient shows up at 8:15 because the clinic doesn't open until "8:30." They apologize for the "website being wrong" and state "it's been an issue for a while and happens all the time" but then won't let the customer keep same appointment (even though they were admittedly in the wrong). If they can't get their website and appointments right, then communicate with their patients that known website is wrong and then won't honor a patient's appointment when they were in the wrong, why would I want them to look at my eyes? Let's start the patient/doctor relationship on a good note. Thankfully I just need a routine eye exam and it's not an emergency! I'll be finding a different eye clinic to have my eyes checked out! Johns Hopkins, do better, your patients have busy lives and our health matters, our time is valuable to us and to be treated poorly from the beginning of the relationship is very disappointing.

I ended up asking the receptionist how much longer after waiting about 45mins and she was very helpful and thanked me for waiting. This rectified my past experience with her. I will say, the doctor I had today was great and Deshanay (may have spelled wrong) is always pleasant and provides a great customer experience.

The front desk women were not remorseful and told me I could not get a copy of my prescription until I pay. They have no customer service skills and should not be working with patients. I just went in the other day to get a copy of my prescription and they were again rude because I didn't call ahead, when I was having a small eye emergency. They did not write the PD and refused to give it unless I bought glasses with them. I will not be coming here again. Not military friendly, rude, and horrible customer service. If I could give a negative star I would.
