Dr. Jain was very friendly and did a good eye exam. The Office Manager Duane however made mistakes filling out my MVA eye screening form which caused 2 restrictions to be applied to my drivers renewal. It took me most of 4 hours with DMV and Innovision to straighten his mess out which I was charged 39.95 for. Be very weary of upcharges no eye drops during exam 39.95, frames that go just over your insurance coverage out of pocket 20.00, lenses that go just out of your free insurance lenses out of pocket 41.00. Pair of reading glasses and MVA filing their price 517.00 minus insurance still costs me 86.00 out of pocket. Do your homework before you go to this place. read more

After surviving the surly front desk person, I had a pleasant enough appointment with the doctor, but when I used the prescription for my new glasses, the prescription I had been given turned out to be wrong, so I ended up having to use my old glasses. I followed up using the patient portal and had all my messages ignored and my prescription was removed without any explanation. I attempted to follow up with 4 phone calls and voicemails that were not returned. Safe to say I found a better place - Federal Hill Eye Care. Skip InnoVision, not worth the hassle. read more

It was time to get an eye checkup, and new glasses. Robin saw this place one day at the grocery store (there is a cute little strip mall here). When you walk in the building there is a nice bright clean feel, however the staff are kind and polite. Dr Jain has a way of putting the patient at ease, and she has a pretty good sense of humor! The new state of the art machine she has to look inside your eye, as well as test for glaucoma......come without the dreaded "puff" of air on your eyeball. My vision actually go better (I have been wearing my glasses all the time for two years)......but I knew my close vision was worse. Other than that......my eyes are fine, and the exam did not take more than 10 minutes. After the exam I went out into the room with all the glasses frames. The office manager , Nicole was VERY helpful in finding both Robin and I the perfect frames that looked great! . I certainly would recommend this all in one eye place to anyone. They have the capacity to diagnose medical eye conditions, give one heck of an eye exam, and fit you with frames or contacts. read more

I wanted to love this place, but I made a huge mistake by going here. I wanted to get my annual eye exam at a location closer to home so I decided to check out InnoVision since they are in network. The lobby and the exam rooms are beautiful, but that's where it ends. It starts with the technician insisting that the current daily disposable contacts I've been using for years are a low-end brand and I needed to upgrade for the "health" of my eyes. Even after I said I wanted to order my normal Bausch & Lomb brand dailies, she had me try on Acuuve Dailies for Astigmatism, promising that the price difference was hardly noticeable on the end bill. ($40 a box to $92 a box is hardly noticeable but we'll get to that disaster later). At the end of the day, I aim to please, and maybe I was secretly ruining my eyes with some random off brand contacts so I decided to order the contacts through the office. I needed the contacts stat as I'd waiting too long to order them already, and didn't want to go through ContactsDirect as I normally do. With my $100 insurance discount (which didn't even cover the eye exam charge as it's $170 and not my $45 copay as quoted by insurance company) I ended up paying over $740 for contacts, exam and fitting (8 boxes of dailies, 4 for Right and 4 for Left eye). Normally my contacts cost me under $300. Also, they said they'd given me my glasses prescription with the rest of my paperwork, they had not. I had to email the office THREE times to get my glasses prescription. I can only assume that this is because they didn't want me ordering prescription glasses outside of their store. Also it didn't even have my PD number on the prescription so I had to measure that myself. To make matters worse, since this is really the icing on the cake, when I picked up the contacts there were Right and Left eye boxes (4 of each as I mentioned above), about a month ago I opened the box of Left eyes to see that they were Right eyes. Then, thinking this had to be a sick joke, I tore through the remainder of all my boxes and ALL OF MY REMAINING BOXES ARE RIGHT EYES ONLY. With astigmatism contacts they fit the eye differently so it actually matters, oh and the prescription is different....... Then they wouldn't let me return them after I reached out to them. Crooks. So I bit my tongue after my initial visit here back in February this year but after a return visit today to pay for contacts, I just can't hold back any longer. Back in February I needed an eye appointment and since my eye doctor retired, I needed someone new. I found this place because of proximity and Yelp reviews. I made an appointment, arrived on that day and was impressed with my new choice. That's where the positivity ends. I have worn both glasses and contacts for 30 years, unfortunately! I gave them my insurance information at check in and was told my insurance will cover the exam for glasses; however, there is a separate exam fee for contacts. I was in the exam room for approximately ten minutes and was up to date on both prescriptions. So I'm not sure what was so different that they needed to bill my insurance company for an exam, plus charge me $116.30 for this "special contact lens exam and fitting." By this point I decided to purchase my glasses and contacts elsewhere. The employee asked me if I wanted to order my contacts through her that day, I declined. I asked for both prescriptions to be written down to take with me and was given the eye glass script, but she refused to give me one for the contacts. I asked why and she said, "You need to make sure these contacts fit." Well if you were asking me two minutes ago if I wanted to order them, I guess they fit fine! I was irritated, but bit my tongue. So fast forward to now. I called last week and decided to bite the bullet and just order the contacts through Innovision, I mean how much could they charge to be the middle man right?! Well I was told over the phone my insurance would cover the first $100 for contacts and my total would be $32 dollars and change. I arrived a week later and the amount changed to $37 plus tax, so $40 now. ok... I had the receipt emailed to me and the entire time I'm thinking, these are the most expensive contacts I've ever bought in 30 years! When I got back to my car, I pulled out the box and googled the brand and the prescription on the box. Sure enough, five different websites popped up selling these exact lenses for $34.95/6 lens box, plus free shipping! I ordered six disposable contact lenses for each eye, so six pair, which lasts six months. Ordering online myself would have cost me $69.90 for six pair. Through Innovision, they billed my insurance company $100, plus charged me $40. INSURANCE FRAUD! There's no way a consumer is buying these lenses cheaper than a business. Avoid this place, it's a RIPOFF! read more

This is my first Yelp review. I created an account out of pure frustration and hope I can save at least one soul from the miserable office staff in this center. Like most here writing 1 star reviews, the initial presentation is easy to fall in love with. Centrally located, beautiful showroom with just enough sterility to feel like a balanced place to get eyewear. Dr. Jain is so nice and patient. If only those two things could save this ship from sinking... I'm new to contacts. Perhaps it was naive of me to think I would be walking out same day with a few trials. I'll take some responsibility for that but how come so many other's do not have to wait a WEEK for their TRIALS to come. They also don't have to come back for a whole separate contact lens "class". The amount of visits I had to make to this place for appointments and picking up one week supply at a time of contacts is embarrassing. I've given terrible ex-boyfriends less chances than this. After giving me 3-5 days worth of trials at a time, I had to wait almost 2 weeks for 2 on box of lenses. I'm in healthcare and I needed to switch from glasses to contacts to wear my new PPE comfortably. There were many days I had no contacts, frustrating when you just want to wear the darn things. But you know what? I understand trials come before full orders, proper eduction is important for safe use and unforeseeable backorders happen. I find myself apologizing to patients all the time for similar protocolizations and supply issues that are not my fault. What is unacceptable is the office staff's attitude. I'm really searching here for some appropriate adjectives that remain within Yelps guidelines. Lazy. Unpleasant. Haughty. Patronizing. Impatient. Uninterested. Those are a start. Unbothered with your concerns. Unbothered how their actions (or lack of) affects your treatment. Annoyed when they get realize they have to do SOMETHING to make a situation right. I had high expectations for this place. I really wanted to find my "new home" for all things related to my eyes. This is not it. Oh, and I can't leave this mirage of an office with my darn Rx because they will not send it to me despite three emails and two phone calls. Unbelievable. I already had my prescription from somewhere else I went to InnoVision on Thursday Sept the 19th, 2019 to pick a frame. The technician was nice and patient with me trying lots of frames and having hard time to decide then finally I picked one and it was defected to they needed to order a new one. The following Thursday my glasses were ready I got them and was in a hurry to look at them carefully. After I left I found a big scratch on one of the lenses. I called them and went to return them. They said they will be ready next day or Saturday morning. They called me on Sat that they are ready and never told me that they close early and they are closed both on Sunday and Monday and here I am since the 19th of Sept still waiting to use these glasses and won't get them until October 1st read more

This place is a-ok with me. I love how nice and squeaky clean the place is when you walk in, and the people who work there are extremely friendly. I hadn't been to an eye doctor in a few years so I came back here to get a quick check up and new contacts. Once I got in the eye exam room, I was underwhelmed with the equipment. The last eye place I went to was very advanced and had the latest technology, this place didn't it was basic and that was fine. I got my eyes checked and the doctor recommended the Acuuve even though I was hesitant since they weren't my normal brand. I wouldn't say I felt pushed, but the doctor promised that I would like these more. He did not disappoint and I love my new brand of contacts. My eyes feel better than ever and even when working 15 hour days they don't get dry. I think if you have eye problems that require more than a basic check up, than this isn't a good place for you, otherwise it gets the job done. read more

I was there this morning for an eye exam and to replace the glasses I had lost about 2 years ago. My vision isn't that bad; I have slight astigmatism which causes an uncomfortable glare and some difficulty reading road signs at night. I received a better diagnosis for my vision then ever before and I can correlate this to my previous pair of glasses that felt too strong and took quite some time to get used to. Her assistant was out sick for the day and she did an excellent job helping me pick out frames and explaining my options. I ended up with a higher end pair of glasses which I could have found cheaper, but her attention to detail, advice, and overall professionalism and knowledge assuaged my concerns and I ended up supporting the local practice and hope to have a pair of glasses that look great in a few days time! read more

Gossiped about a patient for 3 minutes, incorrectly argued with me about my contact lenses, refused to measure my Pupillary distance for glasses because I did not order glasses from them though I had a full eye exam and ordered contacts. This is the most fashionable optical spot around. It's located in a beautiful development in Baltimore right off I-95. The eye frame collection was great. My daughter was able to get a sporty pair of glasses as well as a formal pair. I was not aware of how bad my daughter's vision was but thanks to Dr. Jain she was able to pick up her new glasses the same day. Even my husband, who is scared of contacts, left wearing contacts, and got a sleek pair of European glasses and an edgy Izod pair. Dr. Jain is the best. She is honest, patient and caring. I was very excited to discover this place so close to me! My first impression- doctor and staff super friendly and helpful! However, my eye exam was not a complete one, I felt a bit rushed and was not completely pleased with my exam! The first try they gave me a wrong contact and stated that I will get use to it. I tried the new ones for 2 days and no luck! I was unable to read with my contacts! Went back but doctor was gone for the! Tried and went back 3rd time and she was kind enough to see me, and I was expected to redo my eye exam but she gave me a new contacts with new prescription when I asked my option if the new contacts won't work! Her reply was, "you can alway buy reading glasses over the top of your contacts." The whole point of contact is to ditch my glasses! The second contact gave me headache, blared my vision and I couldn't read close. So long story short, I had to go to actual ophthalmologist pay $40 for eye exam! Thank GOD I did! I finally got correct contacts and glasses from another doctor! Who I am so grateful and now he is my forever ophthalmologist! I went back to this place canceled my contacts and glasses! They charged me $500+ for exam, contact order and eye glasses that I have provided my own frame. To be just here, they did refund my $ for contacts and eye glass! I really wanted this place to work, but I can't go back to a place 3 times to get the right prescription! I won't recommend them if you have complicated diagnosis like me to go to this place! They all are very friendly people and I am sure they helped many. But it didn't work for me. Staying fair, this place is extremely expensive for contacts! If you want to order contacts do it via 1-800 contracts! They have much better choices and much cheaper. Hope this helps you all some. read more

This is a beautiful shop and the customer service was great - at first. I made my first exam appointment for 5/4 with ease and the doctor who did the exam was nice, efficient, and thorough. My return visit to pick up my glasses and contacts went great as well. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Then... two weeks later I had a medical issue (thought I had pink eye) and arrived at the office right when they were supposed to open at 9am on a Thursday. By 9:20am no one had arrived to open the office so I left and went to work with the intention of returning once I could get in touch with someone. I did leave a voicemail while I was waiting but did not get a return call by 10:30am so I called again. I spoke with the girl at the front desk and was told the doctor wasn't even in that day. Ok... so... I started my search for another eye doc and was able to get an appt that day w/ another dr closer to my work. The saga unfortunately continued... I started receiving notices from my HSA company that I needed documentation for my initial eye exam, glasses, and contacts. I contacted InnoVision and was told that they have not filed the claim with my eye insurance co yet and that they only file insurance claims once a month on the 1st. Ok... not very convenient but ok... so 6/1 was a Wednesday... I contacted my vision insurance provider on 6/3 and the claim still had not been filed... meanwhile I am getting emails from my HSA company asking for the required documentation again... Today is 6/14. I contacted my vision insurance co again and they said the claim was finally filed on 6/9. I really wanted to continue using Innovision as it is so convenient to my home but I will not be going back given the unavailability of medical care and the hassle and amount of time it took to file the insurance claim. If you don't need medical treatment, aren't using insurance or don't care if your claims are filed in a timely manner then go ahead and use Innovision. read more
