I took my prescription here about two weeks ago. The workers are very patient when you are choosing glasses to try on. You don't have to have appointment if you are just picking out glasses. Fast-forward to today. They actually called on yesterday to let me know that my glasses were ready. I arrived today when they opened at 10am. Signed in and was immediately helped. They cleaned my glasses and then allowed me to try them on. The only adjustment they had to do was tighten them just a little. Perfect. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes. This Optical center is one of the best businesses I have ever patronized. As busy as this store is they never have you waiting without finding out what your needs are. When I have broken glasses they always find a way to fix them. If they can't fix them they have a cost efficient solution for new glasses. Every worker at this location is knowledgeable and can process all request. Tyiesha was especially helpful. Family member broke glasses in an accident. They were unable to come to the store to be measured. Tyiesha pulled up her prescription. She found glasses in the same family as the ones that were broken. The order came back perfect. Family member no longer has headaches from wearing the wrong glasses. Tyiesha also told us a cost efficient way to receive a second pair of glasses. Never going back! I came in the store and was sent packing!! A lady at the counter told me they were too busy to help me and I should've come by 4pm, as they close at 5. It was 4:20! I assured her that I didn't need much assistance, I knew exactly what I wanted and had my prescription in hand. She persisted in her stance, taking me to come another time as they had so many other customers to help. I explained that I did not live closeby and again would need only a few minutes help of someone's time. I was willing to wait my turn. I asked for the manager who upheld the original lady's rudeness. I guess discount frames means discount help, discount customer service and no glasses. Won't waste my time again, as apparently my money is no good there!! read more

This place is really basic. No frills. But the price is very affordable if you are in need of a pair of glasses. Some are 35.00 depending on your prescription. It's not like a normal optical shop with all of the bells and whistles. They have glasses in cases, stacked up. They will help you pick a frame suitable to your style. This is a good place for a person who likes to have multiple pairs of glasses. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the manager is nice. I have been here many times over the years and always had the same service. It's good. And it's not expensive. Usually places that are cheaper give you bad service. Not the case here. You can bring your prescription, which I do. Or have an exam done here. Not sure how that works. But it's an option. read more

I read the reviews for this business some was positive and some negative but I needed an eye appointment ASAP my appointment was 2 days later I was greeted at the door and given some gloves for my visit the doctor was knowledgeable and nice. I have been buying glasses from this place for over 10 years. Well when you can pay $35.00 for glasses who wouldn't want to shop here. They have an excellent selection of high end eye wear, but hey I'm not interested. I'd rather look through the multitude of bins they have. It's like shopping in the basement of Nordstroms for discounted eye glasses. Hey if you don't mine rummaging you will come up with some pretty cool specks. So here is the set up. Once inside the quaint little office/shop, you sign in letting them know what you are there for. Take a seat and wait to be called on. The wait time is usually no more than 10 minutes. Once your name is called an associate will then let you know your options, such as free tint (gotta love the free colored tint) and other features that will cost you a little extra but still very affordable. Once you select your options your set! Your glasses ordered and are ready in about 7-10 working days. They have a optometrist on site and exams start at $40.00 which is also very reasonable! So basically this is a full service eye care facility, with unbeatable prices. I am always all for a good deal! read more

Be sure to set your favorites aside so that when your name is called the attendant can wait on you. I used to work near there, and learned about them from just passing by the store. Whenever i needed new glasses, no matter where i lived, I always made sure I stopped by there. Nothing beats a place where you can get a great variety of quality designer frames, $25.50 single vision lenses, a $40 eye exam performed by an Optometrist that is a super cool person, smells great, and looks like a SUPERMODEL,.... (Yes...the DOC is FOINE!!!!) and a very friendly knowledgeable staff. ......tell me you you wouldn't shop there, and I would call you a MF'n fool. This place is WORTH the price of admission. I have been going there since 1998 I also have referred so many of my Goverment coworkers there. Service is Excellent Glasses are super cheap and very nice frames to choose from..I always get at least 3 pr every time I go. I mean we talking $35.00 complete for 1 pair.
