I had a great experience at Warby Parker! I haven't purchased myself a new pair of frames in forever and after seeing the limited (and expensive) selection at my eye doctor's office, I decided to come to Warby Parker. First, I went online and did some pre-shopping and made a list of all the styles I was interested in. I hadn't had a new pair in so long and didn't really know what I wanted so the list was a bit long. When I came into Warby Parker, Justin immediately approached me and asked if he could help. I showed him my list of frames and he put me in the direction of where I'd find most of them. He also went in the back and grabbed any frames from my list that weren't already on display. He told me about different color options as well. Once I got to trying on, he left me alone to browse and when I had narrowed it down to three top choices, he helped me pick "the one". I really appreciated how attentive he was without being too overly salesey. I liked that I didn't feel rushed and that he gave me his honest opinion on what looked best. The final cost was $145 for the "Elias" frames with the fancy, scratch resistent lenses. He placed the order for me right there. This was a Saturday and the glasses were delivered by Thursday. Amazing turnaround time! Overall, I am so happy with my choice. I also love that Warby Parker has a warranty for free replacement within 30 days and unlimited free adjustments to the fit. A great Warby Parker in Harbor East by the water in Balitmore. They've been bringing in some bougie stores to the area. Street parking can be found during the weekdays but I'm lucky to be able to walk here. You could also park at the Whole Foods garage for 2 hours with a purchase. My friend is the optometrist here but I did come here and make a purchase before we met! I used to want to get Warby Parker's but they never fit my Asian face. Now they have more options so I got my first glasses made a year and a half ago. My screws did come undone twice so I went back to get them fixed. I also got free eclipse glasses here in April! Which I was really happy about! It is a larger store so there is good selection here and I like the staff to help me vs ordering online. Although the most recent time I went the sales girl seemed really unsure and pushy. But I did get a pair of sunglasses made which I will be returning (you can return anything within 30 days). I am not a customer as of yet but will agree with the negative reviews about customer service. The online set up is intrusive before servicing. They have you to click on links to get your contact information without any resolve. It all, ALL leads to "ShOP ONLINE" or a centralized customer service location that will not help unless they get your contact/personal information. I then trick the call center to have a store staff member to return my call in order to get simple general questions answered before I submitted any info or traveled to the location. I info I received was enough for me to know they could not help me with my prescription needs. But...... I'd been having noticeable sight issues and made an eye exam appointment at this Warby Parker location. I've been in the store before randomly and loved all the glasses, so thought this was a good idea - first the eye exam, then the prescription in the cool glasses! Shortly after I arrived, I was called in for the exam. It went by quickly, but the woman administering the exam was great. She took me through a variety of vision tests and made the determination I have an astigmatism. She told me I could get two pairs of glasses or one pair that has both prescriptions in them. She also recommended I see an ophthalmologist for some other potential eye issue I may have. That completed, I went back out to the greater Warby Parker showroom to decide on glasses. I realized getting the one set of glasses with two prescriptions would mean I'd be wearing glasses all the time. I've not worn glasses all the time my entire almost 44 years on earth, and I'm not yet ready to start. So I went with the two glasses options. A great salesperson walked with me around the store as I searched for frames I really liked. I swear I tried on just about every pair of glasses in there and finally settled on two pairs that I found very attractive on and off my face. My salesperson did a remarkable job upselling me add ons to the glasses and it was totally fine - I had a nice amount of HSA funds to burn through, and in the end, I had confirmations on one set of readers with anti-glare lenses and one set of distance glasses with transition lenses. Total cost to me was $40 and I can't wait for the glasses to arrive in the mail (hopefully later this week). If I decide to get the glasses with both prescriptions in one lens, I'll be back to Warby Parker! read more

Friendly and helpful staff! My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday to try on some glasses. I came with a huge list and the sales associate helped me find not only all the ones I wanted to see, but also suggested a few others. He was not pushy at all but instead was suggesting different shapes and how they worked with my face. It was tougher than usual to see how everything looked because of the mask but he was so reassuring! I ended up with a pair I really like and am excited for them to arrive. I visited here this past Sunday to get the glasses I ordered through their website tightened. When I visited the store, I was greeted by a friendly guy at the store entrance who took my email address and told me there was no wait and informed me i could walk right over to the service desk. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there at the time, but there were a few people I noticed leaving as we entered the store. The guy at the service desk immediately tightened my glasses without any problems and now their perfectly snug, no more having to constantly push my glasses up or having them fall right off my face while working. The store is very neat and organized, all the workers were wearing masks and masks are required for customers. Several signs on the floor encourage social distancing. I saw several workers cleaning between customers, overall such a great experience! Friendly and helpful staff. My experience online was pretty good as well. I received my prescription through LensCrafters since it was during COVID and i believe Warby Parker was closed at the time. I received my 5 day try on supply on 5 glasses and ordered 2 pairs. Their glasses are pretty affordable and my prescription was spot on, I also even received blue light filtering lenses. Most of their frames range from $90-140s. I bought 2 pairs for $375 and filed a claim through my insurance (eyemed) which ended up paying $80. I do believe Warby Parker has an ophthalmologist who can also write prescriptions and they also have a various supply of glasses at the store. I just love the idea of being able to try on 5 pairs of glasses for FREE and asking friends and family their opinions, it makes the decision of choosing the right pair of frames so much easier! Easy and free shipping and return with the at home try on kit! I'm so glad I saw a YouTuber review their home try on kit, I would have never heard of Warby Parker. I called on Monday to see if I can get an appointment quickly and I got scheduled for an eye exam the very next day! As I walked in the store looked amazing had glasses on one side and sunglasses on the other. The paperwork is very light and straightforward. Dr. Ravas made me feel comfortable and he was very thorough with the eye exam and questions. I mentioned that I had an scratch on my eyes for a few years and he was able to tell me exactly what I could do to fix it. When I went to My Eye Doctor they just told me to use eye drops and wait for it to heal, which was not the correct information. The eye exam was so thorough that he was able to see that I had dry eyes at the bottom of my eyes and gave me options to take care of it. Dr.Ravas is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and gave me the next steps I needed to take care of my eyes. Once he gave me results I was able to look at plenty of stylish and trendy glasses. Kelsey and Brittany spent over an hour to help me find the right pair of glasses. They were so friendly and allowed me to pick out over 15 pairs of glasses without making me feel bad. They gave me their opinions as I tried all the glasses on and helped me narrow down my options. I ended up by two pair of glasses because they were $95 INCLUDING the prescription and free shipping to your house. They noticed that I was struggling to see and gave me expedited shipping to help me out and said "happy holidays" (usually it's an extra fee). I was so happy that I actually teared up driving back home because it was my first time ever needing glasses and I had the best experience ever. I highly recommend this place and will always rave about it! The customer service, doctors, prices, and styles cannot be beat! This is probably the longest post I've ever written because I never been taken care to this extent. I'm a huge advocate of trying on glasses. So, I did just that. I went to the Lancaster location and tried them on. After speaking with a Warby employee, she emailed me each of the options I liked. BAM... in my inbox, picture and all. I marinated on it for a bit. Could I really order glasses online? Yep! Couldn't be happier. You take a picture of your prescription, or Warby can call your eye doctor for the prescription. How cool is that! (I uploaded mine) the glasses arrived in pristine condition and the quality is just the same as any glasses you could get elsewhere. I highly recommend trying it out. You can even order 5 pairs to try at home free of charge. That's a pretty awesome feature, too. This can only be done via the website. Oh! Their return policy is no questions asked. Double awesome! I have bought two pairs of glasses from Warby Parker, and both brought excellent experiences with this store. Both times, I visited a different eye doctor for a prescription, then went to the store, tried frames on, picked a pair, and had an associate help me order them online (once I brought in my prescription, the other time we started the purchase and I completed it at home with my prescription). Both times, the glasses were mailed to me on time and without damage. First, I love the product: even with insurance, I have a hard time finding frames I love for Warby's universal cost of $95. And I LOVE the frames they offer - they are stylish and hardy. I had my first pair for two years, and went back once to get them tightened/reshaped (a free service in the store, where they have special tools). I've had the second pair for about 6 months, and will likely need to have these tightened as well soon, but they are holding up very well. I get comments on people liking them all the time. Second, the service in the store is fantastic. They aren't pushy - sales associates will mostly leave you alone if you are just browsing, but they offer one-on-one service and care if you ask. Usually they have people stationed both behind the desk and in the store. When I've gone, there are usually 4 associates out front, so most times I do not have to wait for the help. The associates are objective, knowledgable, welcoming, and not pushy. I'll definitely continue to be a customer here. In the future, I may also use their eye exam or try-on-at-home-service, which I have not yet used. read more

My husband purchased glasses from Warby Parker online. He had a great experience trying on glasses at home and found the perfect pair. It was my turn to get glasses...grrrr. The reason I grumble is because I have a wide face and hardly any bridge, so I needed a wide set of frames with a low bridge so the glasses don't sit on my face or my eyelids. This is not an easy task. Oh the toils of having my face and nose! The store is clean and has a modern, vintage feel but very open and clean. It is decorated with modern Parsons style library tables in the middle with the glasses organized on lit glass shelving. Eyeglasses are on one side and sunglasses on the other side of the store. Above the glasses are books organized by color and books on magazine shelves below. There is a resource center at the back of the store where you can get assistance with repairs, fitting or getting an appointment with an eye doctor AND even get information about restaurants, etc (like a concierge - seriously cool). BTW, the mural on the back is very cool - check out the guy with the monocle. Yup, they sell monocles on a chain (not available in store but online) - old timey fun! The service is excellent. A cadre of friendly salespeople greeted us and one by one (non-intrusively) they checked in with me while I was shopping. When I found the right pair, I was paired with a salesperson who checked me out via her tablet and took my information. She input all my info and asked how I wanted to receive my glasses - shipped to my home or pickup in the store. Options, hooray! On top of it, everything is included like scratch protection, no glare, case, etc. I was expecting to pay more when it was all said and done, but the price I paid was the price that was on the information label on the shelf - $95 for my glasses and FREE shipping to my house. I don't know how they do it, but it made me happy to get a pair I like and it didn't cost me a minor fortune. On top of it, Warby Parker is socially driven so they donate a pair of glasses to someone who needs them. read more

It's taken me almost 8 years to get a new pair of glasses because I could never find the right pair. I finally decided to stop by this Warby Parker with my mom and sister and I tried on literally every single pair they had. My face is unfortunate in that it has no nose bridge, but I also have high cheekbones, so finding glasses that fit my face was a huge chore. I finally settled on the "Mitchell" style. 1. There seemed to a be a lot of sales associates in the store, but no one came up to help me. This is in stark contrast with the Warby Parker that I visited in DC where I was assisted by multiple associates. I finally picked out two frames that I liked and went up to an associate to ask for help. She told me that the wider frame was better, so that's what I chose. 2. The price is really reasonable. I got the high index lenses because I have really terrible eyesight. I think it came out to around $130 and that's VERY fair! 3. It took about 10 days for my glasses to be ready. Also, they sent me an email confirmation with the receipt and I also received an email once my glasses were ready for pickup. 4. I walked into the store and the process was pretty easy. I told one of the associates my email and then she walked me over to counter where a different associate was told to help me. This is sort of where things went downhill.... 5. I've only purchased glasses from three other places, and I've been wearing glasses since 4th grade: Lens Crafters, Walmart, Sam's Club. Shockingly, Warby Parker provided me THE WORST service when it came to actually fitting my glasses to my face. Look, I understand that the price for these glasses are low, but I also expect that I'm going to get some help when it comes to fitting my glasses to my face. The guy at the counter literally handed me my glasses and told me to sign my name on a clipboard. I then asked him how my glasses looked and he just shrugged. Anyways, I'm going to have to head back there to get them adjusted and hopefully I don't run into this guy! So far this location has completely met my expectations! I loooooove Warby Parker glasses so when I broke mine I was so excited I could just run in the store to order new ones opposed to doing the at home trial (I wanted different frames) then ordering online. I walked in and was greeted rather quickly and since I was a previous customer they were able to find my profile from online. We looked at a few frames, tried them on and picked some out all under 20 mins. The guy was able to place my order for me and allow me to upload my prescription at home since i forgot to bring it in with me. They will even call my doctor and get it for me if needed. The staff even helped me find a bakery for the next stop in my errands for the day! All in all they deserve 5 stars for their service! The pickup process was quick and painless.. Call me old fashioned, but I like wearing the same cut of pants, the same sturdy pair of shoes, and I like my GLASSES. There almost a part of my face and how people recognize me. I don't purchase new frames that often, because I like how my face currently looks and didn't have plans on changing my appearance. Unfortunately, I got into a fight with my staircase one night and lost, leaving me with broken spectacles and in need of new eyes. There are a bunch of eyewear places covered by my insurance, but after reading reviews for a bunch of them, I was a little weary of what kind of experience I would have. I decided to check out Warby Parker. I called in the middle of the day to see about making an appointment for an eye exam. They had tons of times available THAT DAY! I can't remember the last time I walked into a store and felt immediately welcomed and comfortable shopping there. The staff at Warby Parker greeted me instantly, asked how my day was going, we joked about my brawl with the staircase and how my current pair of glasses were being held together with scotch tape. My exam took about 5 minutes, and I was given my prescription in a nice sturdy envelope. Then the fun part came, picking out my eyes, redesigning my face and new look. Honestly I was trying to find something similar to my old glasses. There were hundreds of frames to try on, nice big mirrors throughout the store and plenty of friendly staff to help me out. I talked to a few different people, all super nice, I asked one salesperson if they worked on commission because I didn't want the person who was originally helping me to miss out on a sale. It was nice to hear that they did not work off of commission and just wanted to quickly help anyone and everyone who came in the store. I found my frames, and a pair of prescription sunglasses which I'm excited to finally own for the first time! 2 pairs of glasses and an eye exam for about $350. I've paid almost that just for one pair of glasses, so Warby Parker is the total package to me! One of the staff members even put a new screw in my broken glasses and taped them up a lot better than I had. Thanks for spectacular service guys. I needed to try on glasses to replace a lost pair and not only is the store itself beautiful but it's in a top notch location within Harbor East. The service I was presented was also incredible. Ive been a WP customer for a couple years but always online - visiting in store was another level of amazing. The associates were incredibly nice and helpful and the man who ended up processing my order was so helpful and I kind. I have ordered two pairs of eyeglasses from this store, and both times, my orders have been screwed up. The first time I ordered a pair of glasses, the actual ordering process in the store was friendly and polite. However, when I got the confirmation email, turns out the sales clerk ordered the wrong pair of glasses. Thankfully, I was in the neighborhood, promptly returned to the store, and another sales clerk quickly corrected my order. The sales clerk also gave me expedited shipping for free as a thank you. I would have given four stars at this point except... I decided to buy a second pair of frames approximately one week later. Same sales clerk who helped me initially at the previous visit again processed my order this time. Like last time, the ordering process seemed fine. Yet I never receive the confirmation email. Since I am not near the store at this point, I chat with an online representative for Warby Parker about the issue. The next day, I see that my credit card is charged. Two days later, I find out that my order is associated with another customer's name, despite the fact that my credit card was charged! This, to me, was unacceptable!!! At this point, the online rep asked for my credit card info to confirm that I am indeed the person who ordered the glasses. I ordered my glasses three days ago, and these last 72 hours have been a nightmare. 2 stars for now because at least they will be expediting my shipping for gratis. I am hoping they are able to link my credit card info with my name, or else someone out there will be unexpectedly getting a new pair of glasses. TL; DR: Spare yourself the headache, and please order online. If you order in the store, someone's carelessness will result in your eyeglass order being lost. read more
