My appointment was at 10am I didn't get out of there until after 12pm & this was for a follow up. I ended up asking the receptionist how much longer after waiting about 45mins and she was very helpful and thanked me for waiting. This rectified my past experience with her. I've been going here for years but the wait time was longer than ever, don't think I'll be returning. I will say, the doctor I had today was great and Deshanay (may have spelled wrong) is always pleasant and provides a great customer experience.

And it was described that way on the bill I received so when I went in today to order new glasses I asked about the discount and was told it was no longer offered and then told because I Medicare the discount is no longer offered. When I cited the discount I received two years ago I was told that there was no such thing and I had been lied to. I was sitting there in disbelief when she pointed to the rack of glasses behind me and she said you might wanna get your frames there. Those are for the Medicaid patients. Why would you assume because I asked for a discount then I wanted to buy $100 frames? The woman that waited on me was unspeakably rude and did not care when I told her that I wasn't going buy my glasses there and I got up to Leave. I will never come back to this location for glasses again and you shouldn't waste your time there either.

It is sad how this establishment went downhill. I wonder where the 5-star ratings are coming from…read more I have been a Visionworks Rosedale customer for over 10 years, but I finally called it quits a week ago. Visionworks used to be great but downhill after COVID. They used to have optometrists who actually performed in-office visits but, the company started Vision-link (virtual visits) during the pandemic and the optometrist were never returned in office. I stuck around out of loyalty, even though the equipment was often broken, service was slow, and employees came and went like a revolving door. I wonder why. The last straw? Well, I made an appointment for 3 weeks ago. On arrival, I was told that their equipment was down and had just restarted, that and it would be an 40-minute wait. I said, no problem and stuck around. About 3 people were ahead of me who have not been seen. I waited for an hour and half and decided to reschedule. The next available appointment was in 2 weeks. I said no problem, I would reschedule my other appointments. On the appointment day, due to an accident, I was 8 mins late. Immediately I arrived, the lady at the desk said, "we can't see you today, we have a 5-minute grace period". I apologized for being late and begged to be fit in. After all, there is still one person waiting to be seen. The man also stated he has been waiting for a while, and at the door it is clearly written "walk-ins welcome". The lady blatantly refused. I asked myself why I continued to take this nonsense. I requested for my previous exam prescription. They acted like they couldn't obtain it. They finally provided it when they found out I wasn't budging. As I left the building, I contacted Walmart Vision and was seen same day by an in-person optometrist who was very personable and works with a great crew. I was even provided sample contact lenses to try. I also found out that I have been over-paying for my contacts through Visionworks. I have been paying double the cost even with my insurance! Honestly, I'm glad this experience pushed me to make a change after these many years.

Customer service and information matters. Website and Google reads the clinic doesn't open until…read more8:30. Clinic makes an appointment with a customer for 8. Patient shows up at 8:15 because the clinic doesn't open until "8:30." They apologize for the "website being wrong" and state "it's been an issue for a while and happens all the time" but then won't let the customer keep same appointment (even though they were admittedly in the wrong). If they can't get their website and appointments right, then communicate with their patients that known website is wrong and then won't honor a patient's appointment when they were in the wrong, why would I want them to look at my eyes? Let's start the patient/doctor relationship on a good note. Thankfully I just need a routine eye exam and it's not an emergency! I'll be finding a different eye clinic to have my eyes checked out! Johns Hopkins, do better, your patients have busy lives and our health matters, our time is valuable to us and to be treated poorly from the beginning of the relationship is very disappointing.
