I would not recommend using this location for an eye exam I had an appointment January 7, 2025 at 9 AM they didn't open till 12. I was never notified no one else was notified. We were all out there waiting for our appointments. I sat there for two hours found out. They opened at 12 when I called to complain about not being notified they hung up the phone on me so I would never recommend using that location for anything. That's not the way customer service should be handled, especially when they make the mistakes. read more

In about an hour was not my experience! Their computers were down, so after filling out the form with my prescription etc I waited about a day to give authorization to for my requested service. The eyewear selection was ok, I have difficulty with wide frames (gotta big head) so found a cool pair of men's Prada. Folks were friendly, cost seem reasonable. Store clean and organized! read more

Very happy with the section of frames, quality, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of service and the store was very clean, organized and welcoming. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. They were lightly staffed after the Memorial Day weekend but they efficient to get to me in a timely manner. I was able to find the frames I liked and by the time I was done with my selection, they were ready for me. Kara Beth was fantastic getting me measured, set up and entering my information to get processed to get my lenses. Dr. Karl's assistance was timely, and had a light hearted yet professional approach which was very refreshing. As promised, my glasses were ready in an about an hour. There was a horrible review of this location over a year ago but it seems that the staffing has changed for the better since then. Doctors were good and kind. Wanted contacts and I purchased and got fitted for them.. I got a call telling me the contacts were ready for pick up. I went at 4:15pm on Sunday, (they close at 6) and told them I'm here to pick up my contacts that were already paid for. But the doctors left at 4pm, and said I couldn't get them. I told them , I don't need to see a doctor I just need to pick up my order but they refused. read more

I was in LensCrafters earlier this month to replace my glasses. I spoke with the manager, Deana, who informed me that I was outside my warranty timeframe. When I asked if she would still validate the warranty since stores and the mall were closed due to COVID 19, she refused. She stated that she could only offer the current special they were running (40% off lenses) when I told her that was unacceptable, she told me to leave the store because she had other customers. I told her that I needed glasses, and I began looking at new frames. She then proceeded to threat me by stating that she would call mall security, and told the other customers inside and outside waiting in line (only a certain number of customers could be in the store at a certain time - so customers were outside waiting) that she couldn't help anyone else until I left the store. Deana had very poor customer service and was extremely disrespectful. read more

Had the appointment scheduled weeks in advance and we showed up 40 minutes early. I asked if appointments were on time and not backed up to which the front desk ladies responded "on time". Walked around some and waited in the lobby until our time. Paid, had all pre checks done, and were ushered to the Dr's office for the exam about ten or fifteen minutes early. Then we sat. There were two of us getting exams. Our appointment time came and went and we sat. At fourty minutes we started to get annoyed and started talking about leaving. The receptionist came in and said the Dr is traveling between offices, they didn't know where they were, and they were not answering their cell phone. This is the first we heard they were not on site and just running behind. At almost an hour past our time the receptionist said the doc was "5 min out". If true there still is traffic, parking, and getting to the office....we left after an hour wasted and we had to reschedule since we had already paid. No response from the doctor to apologize or just acknowledge their unprofessionalism. read more

I had some issue while dealing with Lens Crafters. The first time I went, I stood in line for a while just for them to tell me to go to the back. I got my eyes examen and picked out my frames. They were a little pricey, but i was already there, and really needed the glasses so i just went with it. When I came to pick up my glasses, I knew instantly something was wrong with my lenses. I told the lady that my vision was blurry. She told me " that my eyes needed time to adjust. They're new lenses and that's why they feel blurry." So i took her word and continued wearing them. Although no matter where I looked, it was blurry in the distance. I could see close up, but could barley see s few feet infront of me. I finally made a second appointment when I couldn't read the street signs at night when driving, and had to push my glasses far up the bridge of my nose in order to see the street signs. At my second appointment they finally took my word and notice something was wrong with the glasses. My doctor said "your eyes were probably not relax due to you just coming from work because you stare at a computer screen all day." Well that would have made sense, but I didn't work that day because it was Saturday and I'm off on Saturdays. Seems like they were just trying to make up excuses. They re - examen my eyes and got a completely differnt prescription than before. I got my new lenses a few days later. The vision is better in my glasses, but still not great in my contacts. I didn't't feel like going back a third time. I just know that I won't be doing any more business with them. read more

Last year (2016) my kids and I went to see Dr. Spencer for the eye exam part; this was our first visit to this office and had a good experience. I got the kids their glasses but skipped mine due to cost. We setup appointments for this year (2017) and arrived on time and there was about a dozen people in the waiting area for the Doctor, all with appointments. A little late but we went through the initial exam performed by the tech, then after a brief wait in the waiting room, went to see Dr. Spencer. I had my child go first and he got his eyes examined, and I was to be next, or so I though as we're being ushered out the door, I said wait a minute, I'm supposed to be next, I have an appointment too. I was told they were too many people waiting and that I would have to reschedule. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, the time it took for her to check with scheduling would have been about enough time where my exam could have been completed. When we called back to complain, I was told we were lucky one of us were seen. I made an appointment to go elsewhere and won't be back. The Lenscrafter part that makes the glasses; had the kids glasses made there last year and bought the insurance for them. Glasses broke and Lenscrafters didn't have that type of frame anymore to be able to swap lenses, so made a new pair of glasses. read more

I walked into LensCrafters on the Avenue today to get my glasses tightened. I was greeted immediately and was taken care of by Mike M. who was so nice and helpful! He even offered to tighten my sunglasses (that were $5 from another store). I was very pleased with the service. Prior, the service was mediocre. But this time was definitely a five star experience. read more

This will be a long review; I am trying to be fair. I have bought lenses for my frames twice; a little more than two years ago and last, just after the 4th of July. The first time I had to wait about three hours because after the first hour I returned and they said they made a mistake, return in an hour. An hour later they said they made another mistake and I should come back in an hour. The third time was a success. To make amends, they gave me a $40 credit for the next time I came in. On July 5, 2018 I brought my prescription in for new lenses. They were having problems off and on with their computer all day. I was asked to come back in an hour while they waited on the phone to speak to the IT Tech. Came back and they were still waiting. They called me the next day and said it should be fixed in four days. In the meantime I went to their store in Macy's Bel Air where they typed in my order (I watched the Associate type in and check my prescription). The store manager kindly offered to personally take my lenses to the WM store since they could not have them sent to another store (about seven days later). Seven days later I got a call they were in the WM store. Less than an hour later, I get a call that the lab made them based on the old prescription. I now had to wait another week (I asked if they could expedite the order given THEIR mistake). Nope but the manager did say she would see they would make amends. I picked them up six days later AND no SORRY offered and no amends. Did I mention the ownership company is in ITALY. Never going there again to purchase $350 just for lenses. read more
