This place is horrible. First there is no connection between myeyedr.com and the store. So you will get an email saying your prescription is ready to be ordered. It arrives incorrect and when u call they tell u that online and the store is complete disconnnected. Then you have to place your order again, pay again and wait. The do not follow up when you call and inquiry about the status and when you work to return the online order at the store (which you are told to do) they give you a hassle. I literally wait for 30 minutes for a woman to speak to me while she was on the other side a a curtain 5 feet away from me and when I asked her to speak to me face to face she rudely calls out from behind the curtain and says "you can wait". Not every interaction but 9/10 have been rude, slow and broken. Will never go there again. Update: Typical behaviour from myeyedr below. She said she didn't know how I was able to make an appt. and that there were three people ahead of me. I told her she had just confirmed the appt this morning. She didn't believe me. Look, if you're going to let people book appts for things online you have to check the online appts from time to time. This is not how you run a business. I have spent thousands of dollars on frames at this location over the years. In connection with renewing my driver's license, I asked the staff at the office to ask the doctor to submit the motor vehicle administration form with the results of my last eye exam. The office responded that it does not submit these forms electronically and that I would have to bring in the form. I emailed them the form a month ago with no response. I called today and was told in a very rude manner that I would need to bring in the form, and that they would not print it out to complete it. I have dealt with the rude front of house staff at this location for a while, but this is the last straw for me. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I scheduled an appointment online. Just to be notify at the time of arrival (which I was 15 mins early) my appointment was cancelled due to this office being double booked. No call prior or anything , and I drove over 40 mins to come to this location. I even said I didn't mind waiting, someone at the front desk ask the doctor and he said no. How can you not accommodate when it's not my fault you all double booked clients. Front desk staff were extremely rude as well! read more

This place is horrific. I've made the mistake of coming back the last 3 years, for my annual physical, purely out of ease of location - but, I've never had a good experience. There has been at least one issue every time I've gone. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Today was the end for me. I hit traffic on the way from work, and called to apologize and tell them I'd be no more than 10 minutes late, to which the woman replied, "He only allows 5 minutes." - with nothing else. So, I responded with, "There's nothing I can do about traffic on York Rd. - so are you saying I shouldn't come?" And she said "No- I guess it's fine this time." THEN, I finally arrived and they took me in - started to do the tests, and then, AFTER the tests were done - said that my insurance only covers appointments and contacts every two years, so I'd have to pay out of pocket. WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I have pulled up my insurance information and double checked it. I left before they could do the exam. This branch is rude, unknowledgeable and I have no idea how it's still in business. I will, finally, be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I really enjoyed the thoroughness of their covid precautions. All of their employees wore masks and it was very well sanitized. I however continuously feel taken advantage of when I come here. They are brisk and inflexible at times, and the total they give you at the checkout of the appointment is always much more/different than the one given at the beginning. I have asked them what exactly a service will cost and get an answer and then when I go to pay there is always something that has changed to add more cost to it. Not a fan. read more

It was my first time going to a eye doctor. The staffs were very friendly. Caroline, the receptionist was very nice also. It wasn't too long to wait. I got my eye checked then the lady was trying to pick out a frame for me. She picked a lot of frames with a lot of choice. It ended up a lot more money than I expected but she was willing to help me pick another cheaper one to reduce the price. She was very patient to me also. Julie was very nice and explain to me well during my eye exam. Overall, it's worth to try it there. read more

I want to give a great big Shot Out to the staff at the Towson, MD location. These folks were ever so patient with my difficult contact lens prescription. They saw how dishearten I was and teary eyed. Staff came over to assist one another. They continued to offer me trials because they wanted me happy. I had trouble understanding my prescription and the staff explained it to me. I also received my glasses from them and Angela was so fun to work with. I regret that I only remember her name and not the other 4-5 team members who I encountered during this process. I just saw how Teamwork at it's best was occurring. I will definitely return to them yearly. I have to add that I also witnessed them giving a customer excellent customer service with something to do with her glasses. read more

I was also impressed they were easily able to provide a summary of my insurance coverage--which they printed for me to keep. Dr. was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. When making appointment, the gentlemen who answered the phone all THREE times I called was super nice and patient. This place has horrible customer service. First they broke my eye glasses during a routine adjustment and did not tell me. They had my mom and eye sitting there for over and got while they tried to figure it out. They I has to drive all the way back to the mall to pick them up. I could not set the doctor because they don't have night appointments apparently. Then they scheduled me for a 6:30pm appointment. I called to say I'm 10 minutes late at which point I'm told they don't do eye and contact appointments after 5pm. They should have never scheduled it then. They say there is a 15 minute grace period. Then they say since you are doing both you only have a 10 minute grace period. I get here 3 minutes late and they won't see me. I have had to drive from downtown to here twice. There are no accommodations made for their error. read more

There is a person inside. I wave so I can get out the sun. Totally ignored. Knocked even though another sign said not to. Again, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Rude, typical corporate, DMV, Post Office mentality. Cancelled my appt. and went to an independent optometrist scheduled tomorrow. Good consult with Dr. Nosi - complete with some of the cutting-edge tech available in the field today (no eye drops! no dilation! just a photo of my eye - fast, easy, and more accurate). Sophia helped me choose glasses - she was very positive about most pairs of glasses, but willing to give personalized advice for what fits my face best. Completely Inept Staff. I would give 5 stars for the Doctor and zero for the staff. He is very knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, the folks that work at the front office are completely inept. I made the grave mistake of deciding to order both glasses and contact lens here. They try to squeeze you for every penny to pre-order contacts even before you and the doctor have figured out what lens type that you need! It's beyond outrageous. When the doctor told the staff to order trial lenses, one of the dummies there automatically charged me and ordered lenses, despite the fact that I hadn't even had a chance to see if the trial lens would work! I'd definitely recommend seeing this doctor. However, you should go elsewhere for any contact lens orders as well as for spectacles. Definitely avoid working with Ahliya and Charlene -both rude and useless. They just want to get whatever percentage they can off of the sale. You don't want to deal with the frustrations that I have had to deal with, as well as the runaround, and the denials of any mistake. If you make a mistake, own up to it! read more

I was able to schedule an appointment the same day and my was seen on time. After a thorough exam I feel much better about the problems in having and how to deal with them. read more

I brought in a pair of frames purchased earlier to have the lenses replaced by their lab and was told it would take a week. I reluctantly signed a waiver removing liability regarding the lab potentially breaking the frames. After a week and a half, I received a call saying that the lenses on the glasses didn't have a coating I ordered and so they were sent back to the lab; this was without them asking me whether I'd want to wait another week or two for the correct lens order or if I'd rather pick them up as is. I just received a call that my frames were now broken by the lab and that I could receive 50% off a new pair of frames at their store. When I told them I'd like a refund on the lenses and to pick the broken frames up at the store, I was told that the frames weren't with them but that they would request to get them back from the lab. Close to a month after initially bringing in my frames, I'm currently waiting for them to be returned broken. I'm a little heartbroken to be honest because those frames meant something to me. I know that stores like these have been hurting since Warby Parker and more affordable frames have hit the market. From their response when I asked to get new lenses for old frames at the onset, their tone makes me feel like them breaking in the lab and offering a discount for new ones at their store isn't an accident. I received no apology for the initial mistake with the lenses or the delay and then no apology for the frames being broken. I thought it would be safer to patronize a chain store like this to replace lenses in older frames because they have such a commercial process for how they get things done but the service couldn't have been worse. I stopped in to see about getting an eye exam. I was treated with great respect by your front desk staff in scheduling an appointment time that worked with my schedule. My exam was great. The doctor explained everything about my vision. The staff is perfect at picking out the right pair of glasses. My vision is the best it has been with glasses. My glasses came in several days ahead of the estimated time I was told. My old glasses lens popped out of my frame while I was there getting my new glasses. Gonzales and Bedi, I was greeted with smiles, concerns for my immediate and long-term eye care needs and a genuine effort to make the experience a positive one. I ended up with two new pairs of glasses (designer, I might add), extended wear contacts and sunglasses---their prices cannot be beat! And, thanks to Sophie, my very fashion-forward nieces are thrilled with all the frame selections! May have to pop in more than once a year just to say hello! I visited this place for eye exam and contact fitting. The doctor seems knowing what he's doing but very impatient. He didn't even answer some relevant questions I asked. Front desk will lead to to do an eye exam that's not normally covered by insurance so be careful. Stuffs look busy and indifferent. They might pretend to be nice but they actually don't care about patient at all. Low efficiency work. Eye consultant don't know how to use computer system or how to order contact lens. The time with doctor was only 15 minutes cuz he kept pushing me out of his room and seemed reluctant to answer my questions but staffs kept me waiting for check out for an hour due to their unfamiliarity with the system. Last but not least, I came here for eye exam and contact fitting. But when I checked out they told me they couldn't order samples for me because they don't have it. Period. So my suggestion is don't easily believe those positive reviews. If you want to avoid an experience that might be regretful. I would suggest you check out other places. read more

Great location! This is right near my house and the hours are convenient. My eye exam went great, the doctor spotted something with my optical nerve and explained what he thought it may be and said to just keep an eye on it. The process was quick and painless. I love their selection of eye wear (they carry Dragon!!), and the different price ranges they offer. I did not end up getting the frames I really, really wanted because I just did not want to spend that much for night time driving glasses. They were able to offer me something really cute and reasonable. I had my 11 year old daughter with me for her exam and everything went smooth with that. read more

Idn why ppl cannot just find the WHATEVER great versus the awful in their job and learn others are celebrating deaths or Loses and you're maybe going through something tragic too but trust me lol i have encountered so many young "potential but angry and miserable to work employees here that it's predictable but also I CHOSE TO SEE THE BEST IN MANY versus worst and several I've noticed "need a higher up assent heir position " no longer seemed to work for this company very long! Has potential, horrendous parking and def will keep you standing in that 6 ft spaced out the door line like a nonexistent for much longer than they already did if you had a scheduled appt with them pre pandemic! The truth just prevail I held off for far too long but honestly? Sandwich it with a good bad good !
