The front desk staff hyped up my sneakers and were so kind. They explained the process and allowed me to look around for my new specs. A sales associate helped me through it as I wasn't sure quite what I wanted. They have so many brands and styles. I picked out a few pair of glassess and she held them for me until after I finished my exam. Karl was my optometrist. This man has amazing interpersonal skills! He explained everything thoroughly and took the time to teach me about my eyes. I sincerely appreciate him. Everyone was amazing here! I can't wait to get my glasses! I told them that I would not be able to come in to get the contacts and asked if they could mail them to me. They did one better. The doctor called and said he would drop off the contact lenses on my front porch. Sure enough, 45 minutes later, Dr. Delgado arrived at our home and personally delivered my son's contact lenses. Needless to say, this doctor's office has our business as long as they are around.

Patient shows up at 8:15 because the clinic doesn't open until "8:30." They apologize for the "website being wrong" and state "it's been an issue for a while and happens all the time" but then won't let the customer keep same appointment (even though they were admittedly in the wrong). If they can't get their website and appointments right, then communicate with their patients that known website is wrong and then won't honor a patient's appointment when they were in the wrong, why would I want them to look at my eyes? Let's start the patient/doctor relationship on a good note. Thankfully I just need a routine eye exam and it's not an emergency! I'll be finding a different eye clinic to have my eyes checked out! Johns Hopkins, do better, your patients have busy lives and our health matters, our time is valuable to us and to be treated poorly from the beginning of the relationship is very disappointing.

I was told the the way I choose to wear my glasses is impossible (even though I've been wearing them the same way for years). I was flat out lied to about a replacement/lost guarantee. I purchased a set of prescription sunglasses because of the fact that I was assured I could get a new pair if they were lost or damaged. I was given a card with that very promise. When I went in today to get a replacement, I was told by the current manager that it "expired after a year." I explained that this was never told to me by the manager of the store (who is no longer there) about any expiration. So, if you lose your glasses, or they get damaged on day 366, you're outta luck, I suppose! What a farce. The manager offered a 50% discount, but that is not OK with me since I was told that I had a replacement guarantee. No other offer from the the "manager," and when I informed him that I was not happy and would be writing a negative review, he merely said, "OK." For Eyes, as a business in this area, seems to all have low stars in any location.
