I have walked passed here lots of times before and never stopped, wish I would've sooner. I came here solo on a Thursday night to sit at the bar, get a quick bite and a beer. The servers behind the bar where great, super friendly, knowledgeable, and just a a great group of people. I got the Chicken Marsala, damn it was good. It has gnocchi that was cooked perfect and the portion was definitely filling. Great beers on tap, amazing food, big portions, reasonably priced, and a super friendly staff. Foolish Craig's never fails to impress. A beautiful day in Boulder could not be more complete than a dog-friendly patio, a Nutella Crepe with ice cream, and a knockout breakfast burrito. If you're here for lunch, try the Breasto Pesto crepe. Been here a number of times now and, honestly, you can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. The coffee is fantastic too, and my wife said the grapefruit mimosa was to die for. Poor service. Had to wait 45 min for food. Waitress never bothered to drop by every once in a while to refill coffee or water glasses. The food here is probably great, but I wouldn't know. I made a reservation online through Open Table 3 days in advance for Easter Sunday, only to be turned away when we arrived. The waitress that stopped us at the door advised us that we couldn't have a reservation because they had shut off that capability in their system to prevent anyone from making a reservation. When I showed her my confirmation of the reservation, she stated that she would seat us and we *might* be able to get food if we *hurried up and ordered fast*, because the kitchen staff was leaving. She was not kind, understanding, or apologetic in the least, and we were offered absolutely nothing for the waste of time but a look of impatience. Luckily, the restaurant next door was more than willing to SEAT AND SERVE us, even though they were closing early as well. So, if you want some incredibly delicious food from some pretty awesome people, find this place, and then go next door to their competition. read more

Went here for lunch yesterday. I ordered the Farmers Burger, a daily special - BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. The meat was juicy and delicious, on a sesame seed bun. All the fixings were fresh and ample. The fries were also delicious, but my big American appetite could have used a few more. My friend got a chef salad and enjoyed it, it looked fresh all around, with a good portion. Outside seating is a plus in the summer. THE BEST: Dessert crepe with walnuts, almonds, and cinnamon. GET THIS, ITS AMAZING. Perfect to share between two people after a good sized meal. In our trip to through Colorado we visited over 20 restaurants. This was the worst service and meal out of all of them by far. The hostess was rude at best. I ordered an Angus burger -- it tasted like they took a piece of low quality beef that was cooked without any seasoning, the bun was a sad sesame bun that tasted like cardboard. Halfway through my meal a server came by and took the ketchup away without asking. read more

Saw this place on TV and wanted to try... We sat on the patio outside (which is tiny) to people watch in Boulder and enjoy the weather. Great service and tasty food. I ordered the BLT with guacamole and it couldn't be more perfect. Just the right amount of everything--- a great combo. My fiance had the Pesto crepe that they "known" for. He enjoyed the flavors and the textures together. I was sad that they had a different menu for dinner, (which I think is the menu that I accidentally looked at before coming here) but thankfully did get to enjoy lunch! read more

So the main reason i went here was because diners drive-ins and dives did and i really wanted the butter rum layered crepe cake - which was there and we got! it's a really cute place - a nice dive find. the inside is what you'd expect of a dive, very colorful and the employees made you feel at home. there are some nice big booths and tables by the window - the biggest downside is there were a lot of flies. very extensive menu for lunch and they serve breakfast all day which is another bonus! they also had a stead stream of people come in during the lunch hour, although no one had to wait (it was a thurs). my parents split the chicken blt and really enjoyed it - my mom said the bread was nice and crispy - which can be hard to come by these days. i did a make my own crepe with eggwhites, swiss, artichokes, mushrooms and red peppers - the crepe was thin, but i would have liked if it was a little cripsier. it also came with a huge side of home potatoes - the seasoning was OK. however becareful - my crepe eneded up being $15 by the time i had made it my way! we also ordered the whole thing crepe which is the cinnful walnut crepe with nutella and bananas - it was very yummy! or at least the nutella was - overall good combo, think crepe but again would've liked it crispy. we also of course got the diners and drive-ins and dives special - the buttered rum layered crepe cake - which really there were way too many layers of crepe - i really only needed a few with the butter rum frosting so when i took it home i cut of many laters on the bottom. it was good, but i did prefer the other crepe more. also got a decent iced coffee. i would definitely go back here again and i would highly recommend it! read more

Had an excellent birthday brunch here! Large selection of breakfast drinks, the classic mimosa and onion-garlic-peppercorn Bloody Mary were delectable. Foolish Craig's is a spot i have been to for all three meals of the day now. Breakfast hit the spot perfectly, lunch was busy and i left happy, but going in for dinner as a party of four was my favorite. The waitress was great about pointing all of us to dishes we loved. The variety on the menu means you will definitely find something you like, and the family owned aspect gives the place a character that a lot of restaurants miss now a days. If my lunch experience had been a little better I would have given it 5 stars but i have to say that as far as breakfast and dinner are concerned, i give it two thumbs up. read more

This place is a funky little hole in the wall joint off Pearl street in Boulder and was featured on the food network show Diners, Drive-in's, and Dives. I came here for lunch with my family on a Saturday and the place was packed! Well worth the wait however. My mom got the crunchy chicken salad with tomato soup and it was my idea of a perfect lunch. I got the Nutella crepe and it was huge and a little overwhelming so I would recommend splitting with a friend as a dessert. They have a very interesting breakfast menu which I will have to come back and try. I really wish I would have tried their Bloody Mary because it looked fantastic! read more

If I got that wrong, apologies, but he was truly one of the friendliest warmest people I've ever encountered in the service business anywhere. Awesome guy. His recommendation to pass the farmers market and head to red rocks for a short hike turned into a stellar outdoor memory the three of us will never forget. So glad we stumbled onto this place! My girl and my best friend each said their plate was the best they'd ever had of that food. Friend said best omelet hands down and girl got tofu scramble and said the same, best one she ever had. I got the chicken sandwich which was very tasty but I've had a lot of life changing sammies so I won't go superlative but it was delicious and they let us try their pork green chile which was excellent. We come here fairly often for the black bean burger, which we love as veg folks. Over the years we've had several servers but we have had repeated exceptional experiences with Noah. Prompt, attentive, with great attention to detail.
