Breakfast Burrito
Jeremy S.

Neat little cafe in Nederland CO. We stopped in for breakfast on our way through and were pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic!!

Perfect omelette MTO. Side salad ( at breakfast. Love it) hash browns with melted , sourdough toast.

No complaints. Perfect omelette, perfect sourdough, crispy hash browns and huge delicious breakfast burrito in green chili sauce. I'm thrilled for the side salad at breakfast time. Outstanding service too. Mountain Peak Cafe is killing it.

The food was so good! I liked the quirky atmosphere and the music was awesome. Couldn't finish our food there was much. Loved it.

Service was unfrirndly and the hamburgers were hockey pucks. French fries were okay. Wouldn't recommend it.

Jatin (Josh) was an amazing wait staff. Very nice to our dog. The mushroom toast was gourmet quality.

Great food and service. They went above and beyond to serve us. We came in right before closing and they stayed open just to serve us.

I found the staff friendly with good service. My pancakes were cold, and the syrup was not good quality. I will not be dining there again.

After getting a $25 food comp at Golden Gulch (by Donny no less!), the group and I stumbled on over…read moreto Full House Cafe for a much needed greasy bite. STAR 1 = Insanely good food, that totally hits the spot. The menu is quite extensive so there is plenty to choose from, including breakfast served until 2pm. I opted for the "breakfast burger" which consisted of two burger patties, cheese, bacon and a fried egg on top! DROOL WORTHY. We also noshed on the green chili fries, their signature side salad, had bites of the Cuban sandwich - which were delicious and perfectly cooked! STAR 2 = Prices are the cheapest you'll find in Black Hawk, SERIOUSLY! The burger I ordered was just a mere $5.99 with tax! Because we had a tough time choosing what to eat and racking our total up to $25, we ordered it all! Ha :) STAR 3 = Staff is ultra friendly, accommodating and insistent on making sure your needs are met. In fact, when our parties bill was only $22, the cook made sure to add an extra twix bar so they could get their money worth! STAR 4 = Located inside the casino, it's a bit off the radar, so it's not insanely crowded! There isn't much room to sit inside, but everything is served to go, so either grab a seat, or simply take it home! I will most definitely return for my greasy needs next time I'm in the mountains!

1 star with ease. I came in to order, man says "hey man the cooking oil should be ready in 10…read moreminutes" telling the same thing to another lady who wanted to order. Then, 10 minutes pass; she comes back to order and he says "oil should be ready in 15 minutes!" I go up to try to order because it seemed like she placed her order ahead of time, and so dude tells me "I'll be back and the oil should be ready to cook!" Turns out, he told the lady that he said he was going on a smoke break. Why was the fryer even off? The place supposedly opens at 10am, and it was 8pm when I came in. Unbelievable.

We got a Andoullie sausage roll, a Muffulleta roll, a Gouda grits roll, a Voodoo roll, and a bowl of red beans and rice with blackened shrimp. Absolutely delicious! It reminded us of trips to New Orleans from years back. She threw in a cup of Swamp Soup which we we definitely be ordering next time we drop by. We are very glad to have skipped the casino restaurants, very highly recommended.

Finally we got to try it ourselves and were not disappointed. Two of us tried multiple dishes. My favorites were the hushpuppies, Swamp soup, and Andouille Sausage Rolls. However I had no complaint about anything we tried. The hushpuppies were crispy on the outside and appropriately cooked inside for a satisfying bite. Those and the Swamp Soup brought back fond memories of grandma's homecooking. I'll likely crave these in the future. Both of the rolls we tried had a pleasant crunch filled with distinct but complimentary flavors. The owner, Martina, was very friendly and she does it all. This local cafe presents a lovely small town, homecooked environment making me wish I had time to linger. I am eager to visit again and try other items on the menu!
