I can always count on Flying Fish for great tasting & quality food anytime I go. They have a variety of grilled and fried seafood plates, full of old favorites as well as some items unique to them. This restaurant has been a favorite amongst our family for years and it looks like it always will be.

This restaurant was recommended by a couple people that were at our hotel upon entry. Upon entry; You can tell that the crowd is diverse and you wait in line to place your order. I ordered the pound of snow crabs, barbecue shrimp plate, Alligator nuggets, and shrimp and fish basket. The barbecue shrimp were pretty good. The alligator nuggets were good as well. The shrimp and fish basket - not so much, but I think it is more geared towards your taste. It is all cooked in meal, so very gritty, but not very seasoned. the snow crabs were just there, because they weren't seasoned with anything. they were very plain and then they came with a side of butter. overall, it's just not my type of restaurant. I don't think I would go back.

Our first time at the Fish. So delicious. The gulf ousters and fried fish were so good. The Sunday oyster special is perfect. Everything was crispy and delicious. We will be back again and again.

You enter into a line to order, which is fast and efficient. You get your drink and find a table. The seats were very comfortable and tables clean. I had the Caddo and it was absolutely amazing. I'm not usually a tilapia fan but it was a thick perfectly cooked filet with grilled jumbo shrimp on top with a delicious Cajun cream sauce. The ceviche was one of the best we've had. Very fresh and light. Red fish was equally delicious and a healthier option. Highly recommend!

Delicious seafood found here! TIP: When you enter, keep walking straight (through the glass-paned doors) then left to the counter to order/pay, get your coaster before picking a table, & your coaster will vibrate & flash when your order is ready to pickup. So many platter & poboy (aka sandwich) options. Fish fans will be happy (prepared grilled or fried) w/snapper, redfish, catfish, etc. Also, you can enjoy shrimp, oyster, gator, frog legs, hot chicken, & burgers. Fountain drinks, tea, lemonades (including adult versions w/Tito's), & beers (bottled, draft, or can). Decor is fish shake sheik ;-) Gingham-topped tables/booths. Fish & fishing gear everywhere. Special shout-out for the "Liars'' Wall" - photos of people who caught prize fish... love that!

My husband and I went for an early dinner. We walked in and immediately went to the counter and ordered our food and drinks. You get a buzzer to take to your table and it alerts you when your food is ready to be picked up. Everyone was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the whole fried tilapia and my husband got the catfish and shrimp basket. The fish was cooked perfectly, crunchy outside but still moist inside. Both were very good. French fries and spinach sides were also good. If you join their grub club you will get a coupon each month. We had a buy one entree get one free which was nice. We will be back.

No pretentiousness here. Great down home food like your grandma would make if your grandma lived on the water. And your folks were fishermen. Fried pickles were excellent too! Order at the counter in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too! Counter help were very friendly and helpful. We will be back

First time we stopped by I was a bit surprised on the way you order and felt a little rushed, however, their process is fast and convenient! You place your order and then you find a seat and wait for your food! The food here is amazing! We stopped by on a Friday and went back the next day to try more food! They serve their beers in a very cold glass!!! The oysters were fresh and crawfish was spicy! So much flavor! The grilled redfish was tasty and served with vegetables and red beans and rice! All so good! The okra was also lightly salted and served with ranch! We will definitely be regulars here!

While on a work trip in Fort Worth, the hotel front desk recommended Flying Fish, so we decided to give it a try. When you walk in, the smell is amazing--you can really catch the aroma of the seasoning, which had me excited for the meal. The service was prompt, and our food came out quickly. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the initial impression. The gator nuggets were overcooked, dry, and lacked seasoning. The shrimp and catfish were fried well, but they also had no real flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I was hoping for more in terms of seasoning and taste.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's a great place! It's very nostalgic and has always been good and will always be good. It's just good olé boy seafood. Nothing fancy, just straight yummy.

The service is super nice here. Food orders are made at the counter. The Nashville Chicken and the Caddo are both amazing! They have inside abs outside seating available in a family friendky atmosphere.

Ok, so it's not the fanciest, but if you're looking for a half-Cajun/half-Texan seafood shack that doesn't take itself too seriously (and you're not in Houston), this is the spot. My Caddo plate (grilled fish with creamy sauce over rice, with a fistful of shrimp on top) was delicious and satisfying. The fish was better than the shrimp, but I'd eat it again for sure. The rocks margarita was good too. I waited about 75 seconds to order and a few minutes for my food. A great option for a convenient and tasty meal, walking distance to my hotel.

Fast service but the oysters were overcooked and the fish didn't seem fresh. This was my first time but there was many food choices.

I was in town for work and when I was craving seafood, a coworker/friend suggested we go to Pacific Table. We were in the mood to try a few different cocktails so Jordyn suggested we split them so we weren't drinking / wasting a full drink if we didn't like it. It's been a while since I was there and it looks like their cocktail menu rotates but the two that are still on the menu as I write this review are the Yuzu Lemon Drop and the Cucumber Martini If you're comfortable with who you're dining with, get the grilled artichokes as a starter. When I say these were grilled to perfection.. my goodness!! We split the brussels sprout salad and removed the chicken. I don't remember there being chopped egg in the salad like the menu states but the brussels sprout leaves, manchego and craisins were a great combination! I wish I would have wrote this review earlier because our main course was the special of the evening. I believe it was a miso glazed cod with lump crab. Or maybe it was a lemon butter sauce. Ahh well whatever it was it was incredible and we asked Jordyn for more sauce because it was that good. We finished the evening with a slice of yellow cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream (that also isn't on the current menu ) and we were pleasantly surprised!!

I read on here someone highly recommended the wood grilled edamame and it was spot on. So very delicious. I ordered the coping (sp) and my wife had the Miso Salmon. Walked out of dinner very full. Our server was terrific. Funny and very informative. He was spot on with the dessert especially. Overall a great dinner and we will be back. The cesar salad was overly drenched in dressing, the dressing is good but it was a just alot. We do appreciate that there are alternative options offered not within the menu we had set, I think someone mentioned there was an alfredo & maybe another fish such as salmon? I can't remember all the reasons why we asked but I know one reason was because they said they could not cater to the individual steak preferences in large groups, made sense in an efficiency way when they explained it. What they didn't tell us after some chose not order steak for that very reason, was that after anyone who ordered steak & cut into it, they could back to cook it longer based on each individual's preference. I'm allergic to shrimp, I ordered the steak with vegetables. I did inform the waiter that I had a shrimp allergy, he was gracious & asked me a few questions to help better address my food preparation. A few minutes later another staff member, maybe a manager, comes in & thanks us for choosing there restaurant. Then he asks who has the allergy & asks the same questions the waiter asked me. It just put me on the spotlight that I (nor several of my coworkers) felt was necessary. It wasn't embarrassing but more annoying seeing how our waiter had been thorough, or come to me one on one just to reconfirm if needed. I felt bad for my coworkers because they now had genuine concern I might be exposed to something since many had shrimp dishes. I will say that I did enjoy the steak & asparagus. Dessert was delicious, a great creme brulee & the cheesecake slices were generous! Also, there were larger amounts of time between when the first person got their salad or soup to when the last person received theirs, same situation with the entrées. In both phases they basically asked who was missing what & then asked what they had. Refills & drinks, the same. Maybe they were short handed but if they were, we wished they would've communicated that so we could anticipate any timing issues. Aside from the allergy thing, the staff tending to us were very polite. Maybe it's more of a training issue higher up because they seemed to be doing their best, but right now it's a miss at this location.
