So I am planning a surprise project for my mother for her birthday in February by remodeling her bedroom bathroom and kitchen. She's been through so much this past year she deserves it! Anyhow, when going in today to pick up my products for the project I was kind of nervous wondering how I was going to get it all out or loaded into my vehicle but there was a very sweet young lady whom I believe to be a warehouse supervisor, her name tag said Cyn & a warehouse associate who's name tag read Jorge if I can remember correctly. Our floor sales rep was Yvonne and she was very knowledgable and helpful. She gave us great recommendations which we are going to use in our entryway, laundry room, and first floor. The pricing is super reasonable (the best we came across when shopping around), and they had the exact tile we were envisioning, it just had to be ordered. This would have been a 5 star review if we hadn't had to call to get an update on our order, as they stated that someone called us on 4/21 to tell us our order arrived. We never received that call. Updated on 3/11/22 to add: The response from Floor & Decor to bad reviews is ridiculous and cookie cutter. They still won't do anything and keep telling me to contact the third party agency who has already told me there are No Exceptions. Their returns activity report even said "Reason: Not Available". Buyers beware: only buy what you need and don't let the salesperson talk into buying more because returns are free and easy. Not free at all. Cost me over $1300. We had a wonderful experience at Floor & Decor. We were able to find everything we needed for our bathroom remodel and replacing the carpet in our living room. It was an absolute pleasure being helped by Josiah. He provided the vision we were lacking, helping us pick all our our flooring and shower tiles. We ran into a problem part way through our remodel where we were left with a two-inch gap between our tiled walls and the ceiling, and he was able to come up with the solution of using marble crown molding to finish off the look. I purchased tile here to avoid the terrible customer service experience of the orange big box store. However, their customer service may be worst.... I didn't think that could be possible until I tried to pick up my purchased tile at this store. They sent me an email saying tile was ready for pick up but I still waited 40 mins for my tile.... And prob woulda been longer if I woulda waited on their time. The woman that appeared to be the manager was less than helpful and passive aggressive during our brief conversation. I have purchased wall tiles & tile trim for this place and if you go there and purchase at the store, general pretty easy. If you need to talk to someone via phone.... forget about it. They don't answer the phone and any and all other departments DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE! If your nearby, just drive there, it will save you time and you will keep your sanity. I called to see if my special order trim was delivered and that call took over 45 minutes+. I got so upset that I asked to speak to a manager and was on hold for 20 minutes and some guy from receiving picks up so I asked where my order was and they put me o hold again... believe it or not I'm writing this review as I am holding..... ridiculous! Her customer service and her natural instincts on quickly reading my likes and dislikes made this experience so much easier. I was able to get all my tile work for my two bathrooms in one visits thanks to her!! I did contemplate and giving a negative review because the manager, as she did not directly speak with me, I am not sure of her name. She was rude and unprofessional. When I was picking up the stuff in the back, the hardworking crew was not able to find the vanities and had an issue with a scan Id or something like that. I came to my assumption that was I was sold the display and I asked to speak with manager to clear up what happened. She did not want to speak directly to me, she addressed her crew, as if I was not standing there and when she did address me was only to make a remark, that there was nothing wrong with the display and if I wanted the vanity in the box she can just put it in the box, but that she was not giving me any markdowns!" I was not asking for anything specifically and just wanted to know why did it say it was in stock when i purchased it if it was only the display. Only reason why I did not storm out was because as you all know it is exhausting looking for supplies! But if the manager had the same work ethic and attitude as the employees and especially Melanie's professionalism this store would excel in all aspects! read more

I really want to thank Ashleigh for all the help and input she gave me. The tile I bought was not all available in the Fullerton store, I prepaid for the tile and drove to Downey Floor & Decor to pick up, however the employees at the Downey store were not as pleasant as the Fullerton store. I arrived at my appointment time and in less than an hour-I purchased a gorgeous bathroom mosaic tile for an accent wall, white hand crafted artisan subway tiles, and a beautiful 30" gray washed oak vanity. They had a great selection of tiles better than anywhere else I can find. My personal issue arose when I went to go pick up my tiles and they were the wrong type. When they loaded into my car and after I got home I realized it was someone else's order. Had to take another day off of work to get them returned and wasted a lot of time doing so. Would definitely be willing to give them another shots. Honest mistakes happen. Overall everyone was friendly but a little disappointed with that experience. read more

Order two sample boxes because they did not have it in stock, per suggestion of their floor rep. Went with an in stock item because it takes them 2 weeks to deliver and tried to return these boxes only to be turned away. I came in during the work week on a recommendation from my tile contractor. It wasn't that busy, so the sales associate attended to me promptly. I was feeling overwhelmed by all of the options in this massive store, but she put me at ease, pushed my cart as she guided me around, and wouldn't let me lift even one item! She knew precisely the materials I needed to refinish my fireplace and made a great recommendation to purchase the stone enhancer. I opted for the Beachwalk ledger stone and travertine for the hearth. I thought the total cost of materials was reasonable (under $300), and we love our updated fireplace. The only issue was that I had to exchange a box of travertine tile because several pieces were broken upon opening the box. I highly recommend checking the merchandise before walking out of the store. It was an inconvenience for me to return to Floor and Decor because I'm pretty far away. The exchange process was hassle free though. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who helped me. She was so knowledgeable, kind, and had Herculean strength! read more

When you talk about selection of flooring, this place has it all!!! They have it all and have really really good prices!! My wife and I had gone to some smaller tile and wood places near the area as well as LA and Glendale. Their were definitely many floors that we like, but prices were too much. We needed about 950sq ft to cover our living room, kitchen and dining room. One day we were driving to get food and saw this store, my initial thought was "it's a huge store, they're going to be pricy" We went in and we were blow away by the amounts of selections of floors!! We decided on a porcelain wood like floor. My wife loves the color blue, so she was definitely very satisfied. They also come to your house for free and give you ideas, wish i new this initially. I have been spending the last two months completely renovating my house and after searching through many different stores day after day I have found that the best looking floors and tiles at the best prices are at Floor & Decor. But that's not what this review is about. This is the story of a particularly helpful employee there named Melanie. I had bought the laminate for my flooring but they did not come with any connectors or stair noses so I was scouring store after store trying to find something that could match my floors. Upon entering the Fullerton Floor & Decor, I showed Melanie a sample of my floor and asked where I could find connectors and stair noses to match. Whereas other employees at other stores had simply pointed me towards the section they were at, Melanie personally walked me to the section and then started searching through the inventory herself to try to find me a good match. We were able to find some connectors that matched but when we couldn't find any stair noses she scoured through her computer to find some that were the same color as the connectors. She found some in a store in Northern California and personally called them (waiting almost an hour online) to have them do an inventory check to make sure they had them. And when they finally got back to her with a yes, she offered to have them shipped to the store for me. Something she would have to personally make the order for. And then weeks later when the shipment was taking longer than it should have Melanie personally called them again to get it shipped without me even asking her to do so. So this review may be more of a glowing endorsement of Melanie at the Fullerton Floor & Decor but my bottom line is that if you want great looking flooring at a good price I would recommend Floor & Decor. And if you want fantastic above and beyond service when you go there, definitely ask for Melanie. read more

I have been here at least 10 times. This isn't a place where you can go in not knowing what your looking for or at least an understanding. Unfortunately, their teams aren't appropriately trained or taught about flooring and the differences in products. Please invest in your teams and educate them as it will better assist your customers. I'm definitely not a flooring professional so I go to a business where I expect them to facilitate what I need for a project. This should be common rule of thumb in any profession such as a mechanic, nurse, fast food worker etc. There are scant employees and often I wait excessively for assistance although I'm aware one customer question can be lengthy. Hopeful there will be knowledgeable well trained teams next time. read more

I thought renovating our new home would be fun...it's NOT. Too many choices and flooring/tile are much more expensive than I could ever have imagined. That is until my contactor turned me onto F&D. Not only did I find a very similar tile for our huge master shower for 1/2 the price, YES 1/2 but I was able to tile my master and guest bath for the same price that I thought I was going to have to spend on just the master!! The big bonus for me was SARA(SARAH) I'm sorry if I've misspelled your name. She was terrific in helping me choose the right colors, ribbon, trim, texture, size and was professionally honest when I was making a wrong decision. She knows her stuff, I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel with her help. It was worth the 1 1/2 hr. drive out there and I didn't cringe whatsoever at the check stand. She basically told us none of her employees want to work and she doesn't want to "overwork" her employees but has no problem making us do it. Apparently I work at Floor & Decor now. I recently went into this store and was surprised to see there were several people not wearing masks. I asked an employee about it and they said customers are encouraged to wear masks but not required. As our hospital capacity is at near 0% right now and people are sick and dying at alarming rates, it's incredibly irresponsible and dangerous to not require masks in an indoor public space. Stopped by the store to check out some tiles for our kitchen back splash. The visit started out great with an associate willing to spend a few minutes answering our questions. We picked up a few tiles to take home to help visualize what we wanted and thats when it went down hill. There was only one cashier at the front. The rest of the team was helping other customers. The customer in front of us was doing a return, buying some tiles and then asking for help to find other tiles on the floor. We waited in line for at least 10 minutes and finally said F it. There were associates at the premier counter who didnt appear to be doing much that could have helped at the registers. If the cashier even acknowledged there were people waiting to check out then we would have waited a few more minutes but she didnt even bother. This visit left a bad impression and we wont be back. read more

The receptionist is clueless and transfers you to the wrong places, the cashiers are clueless and rude as well so I almost walked away but a floor employee stepped in. The cashiers were more preoccupied with their tree decorations than helping us. I bought a bathroom vanity there, we will see how the delivery works out. The floor employees are nice and helpful but the front line employees need training and work ethics. Managers should do their job. The merchandise is beautiful but most overpriced. Big selection so that's good and I like the layout of the store but not sure I will be back since there's other stores and the service here is hit or miss. read more
