My project cost nearly twice as much because I made the mistake of using this company. The employee who "helped me" suggested the wrong materials... Which got installed. Then I had to pay for the wrong materials to be removed. Then I had to pay to buy the correct materials. Then I had to pay to have the correct materials reinstalled. The worst thing was that the company acknowledged that it had made a mistake. And as recognition for this error, that cost me a tremendous amount of money, Floor and Decor offered to give me a 15% discount on buying the correct materials. an incredible insult. Their mistake cost me about $1500. And in return they got slightly lower profits on me re-buying the stuff the second time. Deeply offensive. Never buy from this crappy company. read more

I am giving five stars due to Ezra's excellent service. I drove 25 miles to the Carson location to pick up tile as the tile I wanted had chipped edges on every piece at the other store locations. Ezra took special care to shrink wrap the tiles so they would not chip or break on route home. He was friendly and polite while loading the tile into the bed of my truck. read more

I would encourage all to completely avoid this tragedy of a business. We spent over $10k on tile with the understanding that we could return surplus product for a refund. When it came time to return the excess tile, we were straight out denied by a mysterious algorithm no one could explain. I want to acknowledge the kindness of the manager and the staff who did everything to do the right thing. However, the corporate gauntlet in place allows no flexibility, creating the worst and completely unfair customer experience. Go to any other business to purchase tile. read more

First of all, Krystopher was beyond knowledgeable and helpful regarding feedback about other tile that I was thinking about ordering and everything that I would need for the porcelain tile that I was purchasing today. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and professional, and gave me important information to consider! I will definitely be back!! I hope you treat this guy well because he is an asset to your company and then some - he's an amazing, knowledgeable, kind friendly, helpful, courteous, respectful individual. A rare, find these days (man I sound like I'm dating myself -lol) Plus he kindly and without hesitation, loaded everything in my car, and I really couldn't of done it myself. I am impressed with this F&D location. My wife and I bought a ton of vinyl "wood" floors for our three-story townhouse, and we found something that we liked better about a week later, and we returned all of the vinyl "wood" floors that we bought with no problems whatsoever. Very impressive. Then we remodeled our master bathroom shower, and they have such a great selection of tiles to choose from. They even have all the Schluter strips that we needed with different sizes and finishes. I like floor and decor. read more

After looking at 5 places (even out in Anaheim) for tile and flooring and being completely overwhelmed, I heard about Floor & Decor. They have so many amazing choices and their website let me try some ideas out in a virtual "room". After an hour taking pictures of styles I liked, I was still no closer to narrowing down materials for our two urgent bathroom remodels. So many good options! So I inquired about their free designer meetings. I set an appointment for the next day with Gaby. My husband and two young children came with me, and our meeting was fantastic. Gaby was an amazing mediator between myself and my husband, helping us quickly narrow down what we wanted. Gaby helped us gather all of the materials we need for BOTH bathrooms, from floors, tub walls, walk-in shower walls with accents, niche styles, grout - EVERYTHING. When I have my final measurements, I can walk right in with my quote ready to go. EASY. Plus you can pick up in-stock materials that day, or over the course of 7 days if you need to make multiple trips. Honestly, to be able to make such massive decisions in just a couple of hours was amazing. We feel great about the choices we have made, and we could not have done it without Gaby and the design service offered by F&D. Highly recommend. read more

But I felt compelled to warn others. And this isn't "somebody got on my nerves while I was in the store" or anything like that. If you ever need to go to this Floor and Decor location, be sure you ask for Nikki. I had some specific asks for my tile choices via the phone, and she was not only extremely courteous but enormously helpful. At the end of the day, she offered to double check my large order to make sure that everything was in the same dye lot, let me know if a tile was chipped so I could exclude it. She was really terrific - she made the experience extremely professional and I am confident that when my tile is picked up, everything will be correct. Bottom line is that Nikki knows what she is doing -- and I would absolutely contact her again if I needed help at the Carson location! read more

Our master bathroom remodel is going pretty smooth, however we came here to solidify the design with designer which was a pretty successful task. Next, after working with the designer, she put together a list of supplies and set it up to be picked up the next day. Well, the designer messed Up the order which we diddnt find out until we were told they diddnt have everything in stock. So we were able to go to the Fullerton branch to pickup the rest of what we needed. Upon arriving to Fullerton, they didn't have the order ready so we had to wait. After waiting a while they asked. We would have enough room to transport everything cause the order was very big. We then discovered the order was wrong (thanks to the designer) and needed to wait another 15 -20 minutes to fix the order. Another thing, we had to come back again because we again discovered they mixed up another two boxes of tile with the wet on tile and we had to again go back to the store to fix their mistake. We went in today to swap out the tile and were told to go get the boxes ourselves after explaining the mistake they made. Wow, just incredibly horrible customer service, the workers here aren't rude but are lazy and non enthusiastic whatsoever and don't take any responsibility! I love this place but they got to do better. read more

Figgy was by himself there and working with another client and he asked me if he can help I show him the sample immediately he call on the radio if they can bring the product. Good selection of material and has the benefit of being able to return items that you don't like (unlike most specialty tile stores) However, their online order process is slower than promised and they're clearly understaffed. Wait times for materials ordered online are way too long. Ordered Sunday and online said would be ready Monday. Called Tuesday, still not ready but would be moved to top of the list. Come in Wednesday, not ready but they are sending someone to grab the items. Wait 50 minutes, still nothing. Gave up read more

This is review is not in regards to the products, they are great, love the store. This is in regards to the attitudes and customer service of the employees at this location. I've NEVER come across a nice or helpful employee the MANY times I've been here. They DO NOT greet you, they DO NOT smile, they DO NOT ask if you need help, they DO NOT look at you when you check out or approach them, and they DO NOT speak kindly. I'm a manager/administrator myself and this store need MAJOR culture change and MAJOR customer service training with shadow checks. If that doesn't work, fire and rehire people who actually have some kind of customer service skill. They come across as not helpful, not nice, and act like you as a customer are a BOTHER to them. Last time I talked to a manager, AND HE THE EXACT SAME WAY! Leadership models and breeds the culture, I can see where they get it from UPDATE: my husband goes in today to return some excess tile we had and the girl had her BACK to my husband the whole time. She kept asking for a phone number and he asked her are you talking to me? She finally turns around and then gets the manager because my husband is so upset and over the customer service. Manager ACTED THE SAME WAY STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THE EMPLOYEE. We finally get the items returned, the girl persists (again next to the manager) to just hand my husband a receipt with an attitude so my husband takes it, then as he's leaving she says YOU'RE WELCOME. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! That's the most GHETTO and UNPROFESSIONAL response I have ever heard! Thank you for what?!? The attitude or the inability to do you job with courtesy? Management/ownership I hope you read this and provide a response. If you can't figure out how to fix the problem, I've been in management for years I'll fix it. Let me update, I said the action was ghetto, not the person. I see character and nothing else, the employees character and action was not anything above par but far below. Floor &Decor is awesome! They have a cashier named Rai who is just amazing. She is quick,efficient, friendly and a joy to interact with. She has helped us several times. This last time we had a huge return. Rai got to work right away. Organized the cart and started counting. A line started to form but Rai was calm and collected. Another employee (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) sent for help for the other customers. Albert the manager approved the return and we were out the door. Twice the location in Downey was out of stock on items and had to pick up from this location. Both times they were rude and had me waiting for over an hour and a half. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes at Downey location to load my order. The bay doors were open and you could see there was no activity. When asked what was taking so long a female worker said they were busy. When I said I can see there is nothing being done, she closed the bay door on me. Worst location to buy from. I will always continue to use the Downey location when possible. read more

I would like to point out a few things. I needed to purchase the porcelain tiles for my outdoor front entrance of the house.  I must say Diana was so helpful and spent some time researching for the part I needed for this particular job.  Since the bull nose had limited selections and she came up with replacing it with the Travertine Crown Molding to cover the edge for the steps which matched the color of the titles.  She is a very creative, talented and professional.  Thanks to her I purchased the entire project materials. On the other hand, I was very dissatisfied and upset with "Javier" who works in the store floor as a contractor representative for the "Installation Made Easy".   He approached me to see what I needed for this project and given him the exact sq ft measurement of the entire project. He said he would offer $5 per sq ft and top of that 5% discount. Right away, he dispatched the sales person to my house and received the hidden estimation as which he never mentioned upon the visit at the store. There was a minimum labor cost fee $635 plus the installation cost $235. These figures was not given to me upon conversation at the store and I felt mislead and totally wasted my time negotiating with the team of Installation Made Easy. I think having a person who represent in the store gives a BAD reputation unless the agent is really trained and capable. Just be aware for any surprises! read more

This was my first time purchasing tile and Felix the manager walked me through the process, patiently helped me with determining the best choices for my needs, and then walked me right out to my car, and loaded my purchases! Rai was wonderful with checking my purchase out. She suggested that I register with them for an easier return visit (they take back all unused tile) and she was right! Upon completion of my project I brought back the unused tile for a refund and she was right -- I just gave my phone number and that was that! Trenedy was also friendly and speedy with the transaction, and got me on my way quickly. I loved this store, and the staff is what did it for me. Beautiful relatively new store, great tremendous cool open showroom, large selection, great prices up front store pricing. My only problem was getting an order in and processed promptly, the manager Lonie Rocha was not helpful at all. Twice I asked him for assistance regarding a $2000 tile and materials order to no avail and the store was literally empty, it was later I found out he was the manager. Luckily Jocelyn got my order in and answered my question regarding the tile cutter for large format tile and made sure the order was solidified. I was not a happy camper, but store rep Jocelyn stepped up to the plate and took care of me. A paying customer Joe P.S.
