The employee helping me was very nice and helpful I ended up leaving with 2 running bras. read more

Not a great selection of running shoes for the avid runner. If you are looking for Super Shoes and Super Trainers they lack in those. When I do go to try on shoes they rarely have my size in stock. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is no pricing on the shoes which would be nice to see. read more

I'm getting back into running and went into fleet feet looking for some help in finding a good shoe. Aidan helped me as soon as I walked in the store and helped me decide on a pair of shoes that fit my preferences and worked with my foot shape. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a new pair of running shoes. read more

I bought a pair of shoes at Fleet Feet in late March 2024. I tried them on in the store - they were a brand of shoe I've had before - Hoka - they felt fine, so I bought them. Aiden was my Sales Rep - he did an excellent and friendly job! After wearing them for a few days, my heels were aching. I stopped wearing the Hokas - the pain was gone in a day. No one made me buy them or pushed me into them - I did that all on my own. I decided to go back to the store a few days later to ask if there was anything that could be done about my heel problem. Manager Ashley helped me greatly - she listened, she helped me select a different shoe (one with less "drop") and she exchanged the Hokas for a different brand that are working fantastic - no more heel pain. The Customer Service was excellent and friendly, and I'm very happy. Fleet Feet has made a customer for life out of me! EDIT: For some reason YELP thinks I live in SoMa, San Francisco - I live in Chico! read more

I am a loyal FF customer. I went in last week for some new socks. Noah helped me with my selection. He gave me helpful suggestions for which pair would work for me. I appreciate the attentiveness as this was a small purchase and I received top notch service. Thank you, Noah! read more

I'm trying to get back into running and needed a good pair of shoes and decided to try out fleet feet. The associate, Aidan, measured my feet and brought out a bunch of shoes for me to try and helped me pick out the perfect pair (I'm picky). He was very attentive and friendly and put up with my yapping the whole time. 10/10 employee of the month would come back again just for his help. read more

3 stars for service, that's really is. Bought some $50 insets there that were useless, but I don't know if the guy selling them knew any better. He seemed knowledgable and the other staff was nice. If your a runner this is the place to go in Chico. Their prices keep them a 3 star establishment. Many items they sell you can order 20-50% less online. read more

Decent selection. The staff seems knowledgeable.... But that was only overhearing their convo lol. I walk in, and for 20 mins browse the store. And I get your helping people - but just say hi lol. Poor show indeed. On a side note, I'm dressed very nice and it's not as if I rolled in off the streets to gawk at your gear, but am looking for new Nimbus's. Oh well lost $150+ didn't you! Lol read more

We walked in just to get out of the rain but after meeting and listening to Paul's expertise, he had a few shoes for us to try on! He really knew his stuff and quickly honed in on our needs and price point. There was no hard sell! I will definitely come back for my running shoes needs! read more

Brought my dad in today for his first ever pair of tennis shoes. He's used to wearing boots or sandals for all of his footwear needs. Had the most spectacular and through service from Spencer. Spencer even tried speaking with my dad in Spanish to explain the difference in shoes, foot balance, ankle support, etc. Thanks! read more

This place rocks!!!! My feet were in serious pain. I've purchased insoles before but they didn't last long. The ones I purchased here instantly felt better. read more

Fleet Feet - Super feet insoles I feel great! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Chico, California

Went into the store for the first time back in late august or early sept looking for some good work shoes for my son. The gal who helped us was very nice. Ended up buying some Hokas and after a couple weeks of wearing them my son said they were helping his foot pain. So, I went online and bought a second pair so he would have two pairs for work. I just noticed the other day that both pairs are falling apart. The backs of the first pair are coming out in chunks and the lining is unraveling and coming apart on the second pair. I called the store today and they said five months is about as long as those shoes are expected to last. I was shocked. At almost $200 a pair , that seems ridiculous. Anyways , maybe this is just a bad review for Hokas and not Fleet Feet but I was hoping for at least a discount on a replacement pair but no more Hokas for us. Maybe Fleet feet should warn Hoka purchasers about the short life span of these shoes. read more

UPDATE: The Owner Contacted me and offered to make it right. I took my daughter down tonight and the two ladies on staff went above and beyond. They fit my daughter with NEW replacement Brooks and made sure SHE was happy. This is the service I was expecting in the first place. It was a slow start but good recovery. I'm glad the new owners want to continue the customer service fleet feet is known for. read more

My wife and I have been buying shoes here for the past few years. We always have a very positive experience. I just have to say the last few times a very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable salesperson, L. Gianna has helped us. She greets everyone that comes in and effortlessly tends to everyone entering the store. She makes us feel very comfortable and at ease about buying shoes. She is definitely a people person and belongs in customer service. Thank you read more

I came in to try on some walking shoes snd the treatment I received was so great! They made sure I was getting exactly the tight fit and the shoes that most matched my needs. They were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. read more

Fleet Feet scores again with customer service! I went in yesterday with a recently purchased pair of shoes that made my feet hurt. I had walked (average 5 miles, 5 days/week) for about a month. They were the same brand I have bought the last couple of years, but a different model. I brought the shoes into the store with me, mostly to show them the wear and explain the pain I had been having. They cheerfully fitted me with the model I had worn previously (which had been out of stock when I got this most recent pair). I did not ask for a credit, but they took back my old shoes and I paid only the difference in price. My feet are happy again and so am I. Thank-you :-) read more

I've never been in a shoe store that gives such personalized service. These people took a lot of time with me showing me what kind of running shoes and insoles I should have. I've got a major amount of orthopedic problems and their shoes and insoles having me walking more normal. I haven't walked this well in years!! And although I can't run for exercise they help me on the elliptical machine at the gym. I can exercise longer because I'm not in pain anymore. read more

Very happy with the service/knowledge of the staff. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out in anyway they can. They are very knowledgeable with the footwear/products they sell. Highly recommend!!! read more

I was hesitant to shop there knowing the prices. But, I am training for the Tough Mudder and need a good pair of shoes. I was greeted and helped. If I was to go to the mall I would have never got the help I received. I was fitted with several pairs and brands, only to leave with a pair that is perfect for me. Thanks read more

The staff here is so friendly and they go out of there way to take the time and help you find the perfect shoe for you needs. This business really provides a great value for the level of service and products they provide. I won't shop anywhere else for my athletic shoes and apparel. read more

I've been shopping at Fleet Feet since I first came to Chico 35 years ago. The current owners are the 4th ownership since the store opened and by far the best. They work hard at developing a quality staff and they've kept the store focused on the needs of runners rather than wandering off into weight training and such like a prior owner. One of the owners helped me to change some pre-conceptions about what I needed in a shoe and helped me dramatically. Of course a local small business can't match online prices, but the value of knowledgeable help is well worth it. And, they contribute significantly to growing the sport with their clinics and classes - which has real value. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fleet Feet! I purchased some shoes and signed up for their 5k training program. The shoes weren't quite right and even though I owned them for a couple months (though I hadn't ran in them much) they fitted me for a new pair of shoes and exchanged them for me! Any other store would have expected me to shell out another $150 bucks. The shoes I have now are perfect and well worth every penny. There training program was wonderful and I now consider myself a runner thanks to these guys. I won't go anywhere else to purchase my shoes. read more

Great service! I was kind of a painful customer and exchanged my shoes 3 times because I just wasn't happy with the fit. The gentleman that worked there was very understanding and helped me through the entire process. I felt welcomed every time I came in! I'm a life time costumer. read more

We have bought our sons' track shoes here for years and the service is always amazing. They take their time and really make sure you get the right shoe for your events and your gait. So impressed with how much time they take with each customer. read more

Love Fleet Feet, especially their running clubs! They are very customer service oriented and will not be satisfied until you are satisfied. They maybe more expensive then online box stores, but what do you expect? You pay for the service you get, I will buy my running shoes from Fleet Feet over any other store hands down. read more

They have a great selection and fit you to your specific needs, but definetly more expensive than other stores. I think sometimes you pay more for the expertise. I have a pair of running shoes and am very satisfied. read more

This is my favorite place to get my fitness gear. I'm probably the farthest thing from fit but the employees never treat me like I don't belong or are deserving of lesser service. They are always happy to point me in the right direction when I'm not sure what I want, and will spend as much time as I need with me when getting fitted for new shoes. No need to feel out of place here! read more

After a lag due to miscommunications, customer service went above and beyond expectations. I purchased a Flipbelt (competitively priced) and needed to resize. They accepted my used and washed product with no original packaging or receipt. No questions asked. Then, when they could not order my resize through their supplier, bought it from a sister store, and had it shipped local- with shipping on their dime. I love that I am able to support a local business, and this service maintains customer loyalty. I will be buying here again! ***UPDATE*** I changed my rating to a five star. This store earned it- after my replacement product ended up not working for me (personal preference- the product was not faulty), they exchanged it. No questions, no awkwardness, and even helped me find a good alternate product. Which I LOVE. read more

They have great products at jacked up prices! You can save 30% if you find what shoe and size you want and order online. Plus the staff here are super rude if you are a fatbody. If you are skinny and dress nice ~ they will help you out but if not ~ you are all alone ~ so why pay the inflated prices then if the customer service sucks? Now I buy online after I take the clerk's time to find out what sizes fit right! read more

Woah-- seeing Fleet Feet with only 3 stars has really surprised me. Being a Chico native, I have been very aware of Fleet Feet's involvement with the betterment of our community through having open arms to many organizations in this community while promoting health. They open their doors to the Run for Food without trying to sell people things while entering the store. I was really impressed with their involvement and expecting nothing in return, which is why I decided to get shoes from this store. Never have I had so much genuine assistance purchasing something. I was given undivided attention and left with a great pair of shoes catered to my specific needs. I've been running on a pretty vigorous schedule and have had no pain and I attribute that to my proper pair of shoes. Top notch products, friendly and educated staff... That's a rare find. If you want to support a quality, locally owned store that gives back to Chico this is your place. read more

My first time in Fleet Feet was so successful. I had been warned by friends and family that the staff can be intimidating and will pressure you to purchase. I did not get that vibe at all. Greta measured my feet and helped me find the right shoes and insoles to help with my running. I will definitely go there again for all my running needs! read more

I would not recommend this store to anyone. They push SuperFeet inserts with every purchase of shoes. This is a ridiculous sales method. Not every customer needs inserts to fix rare foot problems. I have heard several local runners complaining about foot problems due to inserts they were talked into buyuing at Fleet Feet. I like to purchase my running shoes from other runners. I found that very few of the employees at Fleet Feet are even runners. This is a shoe store not a runners store. read more

I am brand new to running and was nervous as could be going in. But everything online for running tips insists go to a dedicated running store--not just a general sporting goods store--and get the right shoes, so I went for it. Fleet Feet was awesome. Very friendly, immediately made me feel comfortable. He explained every part of the process, what he was looking for, and what the individual components were doing. Turns out I have funky feet (super long but skinny) but they weren't phased at all. He brought out a variety of shoes and had me try them on, and knew what to tell me to feel for. Additionally he asked a lot of questions about my workout plans and was able to fill me in with lots of tips. I learned more about running, the physics of everything, and the market of running shoes than I ever expected in an hour. Expect to spend about an hour there, but it will be well worth it. Yeah, it was expensive, but you get what you pay for and I was not disappointed. read more

My husband and I decided to try doing the Couch to 5K. Their website says, if you can walk comfortably for 15 minutes, you can do this. My husband and I had been walking for months, 40 minutes at a time. So we signed up. After spending a lot of money at their store, we attended the first meeting where they told us that the only way we were to contact them with questions is via email. When you do the Couch to 5K, you do two sessions a week with a coach and the third one you're on your own. After two sessions, we couldn't remember the warm-up and cool-down stretches/exercises, so I emailed asking for a link, a hand-out, anything to refresh our memories on the stretches and exercises. Nothing. No response. I tried emailing multiple times and never got responses. And the Couch to 5K is a lot harder than we would have thought, considering they said you could do it if you walked comfortably 15 minutes at a time, and we were way beyond that. I ultimately ended up hurting my knees so bad, I could hardly walk for a week. read more
