This place had good reviews and was pretty conveniently located in Georgetown. The pizza we had wasn't too bad. I would rate a 7/10. My friend had the Penne pasta and honest it tasted like something I could make at home with ragu sauce, so we were a little disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it here unless you want pizza.

I went to Flavios with my coworkers and it was honestly below mid. We were a group of six and they knew ahead of time we were coming. We were sat as soon as we came in but a server didn't come for like 10-15 minutes. Finally one came with waters and took the drink order, then it took that much longer to come back to take the food. The food I thought was okay. I'm GLUTEN FREE. I only got the Caprese salad. Thought that was okay and then my co workers got the pastas that are pictured. They said it was good. We waited an extremely long time after that to get the checks. I don't think I would be going again.

Wow, Georgetown's Flavio knocked my socks off! It was such a fun and enjoyable experience dining and imbibing at the bar because we were so well taken care of by Red at the bar. The old fashioned that I had was so expertly made and never did we feel like we were ignored the entire time we were there. The food on this Italian restaurant's menu is not to be underestimated...their portions of the veal chop was just massive and it was cooked perfectly and so tender. I will definitely be back again to this lively and energetic restaurant!

I came to Flavio's with a bunch of friends and family. The service was very friendly, and the food was pretty good. The Ceasar salad was good too! I ordered the mushroom ravioli and you can tell that it was handmade. It was earthy and sauce was creamy and delicious! My brother ordered the breaded veal on pasta and it was ok. As for the ambience, I thought it was too dark and as for the price prices, I think they were a bit overpriced, but pretty standard for the area honestly . We mentioned to the server that it was my mother's birthday, and they brought out a cheesecake with a candle on it which was sweet I'm not sure if I would've come back just because it seems like a very tourist trap type of restaurant and I've honestly had better pasta.

Margarita pizza during happy hour was a good deal! The open air dining meant flies coming in and out which I didn't love. I also waited outside for a while before just walking in and asking for a seat.

I came to Flavio for a Friendsmas dinner my cousin planned, and overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. For the table, we started with the calamari, which was seasoned well and cooked nicely. They also brought out bread, which was fine, but the olive oil served with it had a strange taste that wasn't very appealing. For my entrée, I ordered the lasagna. I appreciated how cheesy it was, but the sauce was a little too salty, and the noodles were mushy, which threw it off for me. My sister got the chicken Alfredo, and while she liked the sauce, she mentioned the chicken was dry. On the positive side, our server was attentive and handled our requests well, especially when it came to splitting the check. The restaurant is in a great location, and the atmosphere is nice, but the food didn't impress me enough to come back.

I'm in love with the meatball.... I dream of this... Amazing! This was the star of the show. We also got bruschetta, and shared desserts! I myself got the ricotta gnocchi and enjoyed every bite. My only complaint is that we came in at sunset so the lights inside weren't on yet, so it was darrrkkkk! I couldn't see very well... but I'm sure this was situational.

Oh my... was this place memorable. When we arrived we were seated right away. Service was spotty. At the beginning our waitress kept rushing us to order, once we placed our order she disappeared. The food is delicious. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. Be warned that the add-ons get pricey quickly. Adding chicken $8, adding broccoli $8. Now for the memorable part of the evening. There were a couple of girls at the table next to us. You could tell they were having a very bad experience both with the food and the service. The way the restaurant handled the situation was what lost them stars for me. Their waiter argued back, the manager just came and was passive aggressive, then once they had paid and left their waiter went to an area of the restaurant to be visibly upset about the situation.

My wife and I visited Flavio restaurant in Georgetown. I am so glad that we did. They have great outside seating which allowed us to enjoy the evening. Our server Leila was outstanding. She made great recommendations and her service and attention to us was excellent. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Mekki's pizza. Everything was delicious. We look forward to dining here again when in Georgetown and we highly recommend Flavio and ask for Leila.

The food was pretty good. Service not bad. I had the fruitti di mare and caprese. The 1 star is for their "recovery fee". Didnt make a stink about it. I asked the server who couldnt explain so she asked the manager. The fee is to help their recovery from covid. Im not cool with that.

An awesome lunch after a day of touring DC... Flavio was recommended by our tour guide (shout out to Alan at Concierge Tours), and he even called ahead to make sure we were taken care of. This place is off the beaten path in Georgetown, but it's honestly a must try. The food was all amazing and the owner, Moose, took amazing care of us. The restaurant has a cool casual vibe. We started with the calamari and bruschetta (amazing - and I don't love raw tomatoes), both were fantastic. Entrees were veal piccata, chicken fettuccini Alfredo and the lobster diavolo... all were awesome. Pastas were all cooked perfectly, and all the seasoning were perfect. Easily one of the best alfredo's any of us have ever had. At the end we had the limoncello cake and tiramisu, both were stand out fantastic!! Highly recommend this place and definitely will be back on our next trip to DC!

All the food was drowned in butter, cold, and quite flavorless. The mushrooms in my ravioli were so cold, they must have been in the freezer. The "bread" and oil at the beginning was almost inedible. Service was lacking as well.

Can I bring my dog with me to dine outside here? Are they pet friendly?

Yes, for the outside area you can. If I'm not mistaken they allow Teddy Bears to dine outside too. :) you'll smile when you get there. And understand my comment.

    How loud is the restaurant?

It's got a lot of open space and can get medium loudness. If you're looking for quiet ask them if it's possible to seat you upstairs (not sure if that's a private area) if not then maybe try a weekday when it's not too busy. Everyone has a… Read more

Is the pasta homemade or imported?

I believe it is imported. It is fantastic!

Is there a dress code for Flavio? Or would a button down & nice jeans be okay?

Yes. That's actually perfect, in my opinion.

Is there a bathroom that doesn't require stairs? My mother has a walker and can't make it down stairs.

    No, I’m sorry!!!

    Do you offer vegan options?

I am a vegetarian (not vegan) and there are several options for me. I believe you should be ok.

Also had the octopus pepper gilda thing. Our server, think his name was Hunter, said that was the most popular main. It was very delicious, rich but not overly so. The martini was nice and came with a side car. Great presentation. When my friend saw the martini she said this makes me feel like i know how to live. They have a good wine list, you can get good stuff without breaking the bank. Their espresso is nice. I don't think they have decaf though.

Now, the food. The housemade sourdough with eucalyptus honey butter is dangerous, I could have stopped there and been happy. The roasted carrot salad with hazelnut dukkah and garlic toum was one of those dishes that makes you rethink a vegetable entirely. The garlic knots had no business being that good... crispy, layered, almost croissant-like, deeply garlicky in the best way. For pasta we had the pappardelle with spicy roasted pork ragù and fennel breadcrumbs, and the canastra cheese ravioli with wild garlic pesto and brazil nut pangrattato, that stunning deep green dish topped with chive blossoms looked like art and tasted even better. Both pastas were perfect. Then the Brazilian budino with coconut caramel and toasted coconut came out with a little candle tucked in. I nearly cried.
