"A 20% service charge is included on every check. This fee goes entirely to increasing the wages of our employees to above the minimum wage for all employees in DC. Additional tips are welcome, but not expected." I don't like mandatory tips (aka service charges) and so my expectations were a little low, but I was pleasantly surprised. They seem to have struck a reasonable balance: there's a service charge, but I'm not expected to tip. Fair enough, so I didn't. I still say they should just incorporate in the price. DC has made eating out all together too expensive but for special occasions. I had the Godfather, which was 12 inches and was just big enough for one person, but two people could share it. Spicy, jalapeño peppers, and tasty. A limited bar, tap water served in a glass bottle but ..no ice (??). It's an ok sized restaurant, and we had a number of people taking care of us - a server who seemed like our server, but everything was handled by someone else, so we were never really quite sure who was taking care of us. You'll definitely want reservations. If you're going to wait for a table, be warned that there really isn't a place to wait for that table. You'll be standing around the entrance, bumping into people coming and going. They seem to do a brisk take out and Doordash business. The construction lends to a slightly noisy atmosphere, it's definitely not a quiet place. Overall, tasty, nice, but wouldn't be high on my list for a second go. You can find other places in the neighborhood sans fees, and more value, but if you were looking for a date spot, then it should be on your list.

This is my favorite place for pizza! I first visited this place on Pi Day, which turns out to be a very busy day for pizza places. The restaurant was packed so we ended up literally squeezing in at the bar that night. It wasn't the most comfortable seating arrangement, but we loved the pizza. We've been back many times since. For the antipasti we typically order the Calamari Fritto. It's just okay in my opinion but I always end up ordering it. Pizza selection is always the Supremo and the Peperoni. The Supremo is superb 10/10 recommend!

Great spot for pizza. A group of us came for dinner and ordered pizzas to share. We ordered the Sedgewick, Funghi, and Tripper. I also enjoyed the Kinda Blue cocktail which was quite good. We all enjoyed the pizzas we tried. My favorite was the Sedgewick. I liked the black truffle honey which made it sweet. Not something that's usually on pizzas but I really liked it. Service was decent but pizzas were the highlights!

Spent a gorgeous Saturday drinking outside with some friends and when we needed food All Purpose really came through! We didn't have a reservation but were able to snag some bar seats. Our bartender Alexis was so personable and attentive! We split a bottle of wine, focaccia breadsticks and the Casanova pizza. The breadsticks were buttery, soft and crispy and absolutely hit. We loved the pizza as well! We were waffling on ordering the arancini so I'm planning to come back and try those.

This is for mostly the bar... I have been numerous times and always a great experience. First and foremost a hh that ends at 6 is not a hh it's just a pleasant surprise for anyone there at 4. Most people do not get off early enough to enjoy an hh before 6.... I think that's fair to say but I digress. Service and food is always great, you can't go wrong. Also comes out very quickly. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you are looking for good food and prompt service

Fun variety of pizzas! All were delicious and had plenty to take home and enjoy over the next few days. A great variety of appetizers as well. We went for a happy hour and had a lovely time!

We went here for a quick dinner and it was such an awesome spot! It was so difficult to decide on which pizza to get because every single option sounded so good!! We ultimately decided to share Tripper, Buona, and Sedgewick. The black truffle honey on the Sedgewick was so flavorful, but my favorite pizza was honestly the Buona. It's such a classic, but done so well! We also ordered the arancini and Brussel sprouts which I highly recommend you get! The arancini was earthy and had umami. Ugh I'm dreaming of it. This location is super cute and has perfect mood lighting. It's kind of small, but that's okay! It felt homey! And our food came out so quick and our server was attentive. I'd definitely come back here with friends to catch up and would love to try more pizza!

I've ordered pizzas from here multiple times to go and the Buona has to be my favorite one. I'm gluten free so I get the gluten free crust. Unfortunately it is an upcharge. It always ready for pick up when it says and never takes long. It's close to my place and convenient. When I went inside the space was cute with dim lighting and a bar. Made me want to go for drinks after work!

Pizza at this place rocks. A great flavor combinations and typically pretty quick. Hold tight at the bar and have a drink if you get there a tad early for dinner... service is always good!

We ended up sitting at the bar since the place was absolutely packed and we didn't have a reservation, which honestly worked out in our favor. For Restaurant Week, I ordered the POLENTA CAKES as my appetizer and the SUPREMO pizza for my entrée, all for $35. The food was solid across the board, but the real standout was the value. For just $10 extra, you can add bottomless mimosas and Bellinis. I've never seen bottomless offered at that price point, so of course I took that deal. For $45 total, food plus bottomless drinks is hard to beat, especially in DC. Service is what really pushed this to a five-star experience. John, the bartender, was fantastic. He kept our drinks full, checked in regularly, and had great energy the entire time. This was during peak Restaurant Week, with the bar completely full, and he still made sure everyone was taken care of. That level of service goes a long way. There is an automatic 20% service charge, just as an FYI, but it was well deserved. John did such a great job that I ended up tipping extra in cash on top of it. Between the food, the insane bottomless deal, and the standout service, this was an easy five stars. I'll definitely be back.

Late night pizza happy hour? Sign me up! All Purpose is already easily one of my favorite pizza places in the city. Instead of my regular Buona, I got the Duke #7 and let's just say I have a new favorite. I paired it with a Lambrusco. It was the perfect solo date night with great food and great service.

Not saying that dining companions are distracting, but I felt like I could fully experience the flavor of both the Taglioni Neri and Gnocchi, both half portions at $10 each, better on my own. When the dishes came, I saw that the sauces were both red and feared they would taste too similar. After one fork full of each, they are quite clearly distinct. The standout in the Neri were the shellfish for me. Even though they were small bits, the pieces tasted fresh. In the Gnocchi, the saltiness of the prosciutto, though not overwhelming, paired well with the basil sauce. I finished a little more than half of each plate before boxing it up for a small lunch the next day. The service was great and the tall ceiling and windowed dining room provided a nice atmosphere. It was a cloudy and rainy Memorial Day, but I wondered what the sunlight looked like shining through those high windows. How lovely a space they have created to enjoy fine Italian dining in.

However, when we walked in and saw only a couple of tables occupied, I had a feeling it might not live up to its appearance. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be justified once we looked at the menu and tasted the food. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 1/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is modern, clean, and well maintained. The dining room is attractive and comfortable, and it feels much more upscale than your average Korean restaurant. Service - Service was adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The staff took our order, brought out the food, and checked on us occasionally. What We Ordered - -Galbi - At over $40, this was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. I've had galbi at countless Korean restaurants, many of which charge under $30 while delivering significantly better flavor and quality. The seasoning was noticeably different from what I'm accustomed to, and not in a good way. For the price, it felt extremely underwhelming. -Pa Jeon - Just okay. It was a standard Korean pancake that didn't stand out in any particular way. -Tofu Stew - We ordered it mild, but it was surprisingly spicy and excessively salty. The saltiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors in the dish. -Korean Fried Chicken - Unfortunately, this suffered from the same issue. The chicken itself was decent, but it was far too salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Final Thoughts - The biggest issue for me was the value. Nearly every dish felt overpriced for the quality being served, and the excessive saltiness across multiple items made the meal even more disappointing. While the restaurant looks great and has a modern atmosphere, the food simply did not justify the prices. Considering how many excellent Korean restaurants I've been to over the years, this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

Ate for breakfast. Horribly inefficient seating process, takes 10 minutes of waiting in line for…read morethe hostess to get to me. She's working hard, just having to do everything herself. I'm told the buffet is the fastest, I look down at the menu. No buffet even listed, I guess I'll never know what's included or the price. Server very kind, coffee very mediocre. Breakfast is the same.
