Perfectly acceptable pizza and salad, but if you were expecting something special because of the celebrity chef branding you'd be disappointed. The pizza was the very thin crust style, which becomes all floppy under the mozzarella. Good quality cheese, tasty chorizo. A good lunch, pleasant enough space, just nothing out of the ordinary.

1/2 Margherita and 1/2 eggplant and onions - the toppings taste better

Decent NY style pizza. The pizza is cooked in a fancy oven, just not wood-fired. The restaurant is spacious and you generally don't need a reservation during the weekdays. I've been here 4 times. The Margharita pizza is a bit basic and boring, and highly recommend a specialty pizza. The Margherita pizza is very plain and doesn't have much flavor. I got 1/2 classic Margharita and 1/2 with onions and eggplant. The side with the toppings was the way to go! The seasonal limited-time Truffle White Pizza hit the spot! The roasted mushrooms, creamy white sauce, and truffle honey paired really well with savory and sweet flavors. While I was curious to try it with onions and added to 1/2 pizza, I actually didn't miss the onions on the other side. While the Charred Eggplant with garlic pesto and tomato sauce and pine nuts was flavorful, I noticed something was missing..cheese! , I wish there was some cheese. The Vegan 'Nduja & Zucchini with vegan meat, zucchini slices, pesto, onions, mozzarella cheese (I paid extra), topped with balsamic vinegar had a spicy kick! While the pizza looked like a beautiful work of art and the flavors blended fairly well together, the spiciness of the vegan meat overpowered the pizza. I do appreciate the creativity of the pizza and enjoyed the crunchy crust (it wasn't bland and didn't get hard when I reheated in the oven). The Raspberry Mojito was quite sweet and would try a Martini next time. The Watermelon seltzer tasted like a lemonade. While the pizza is good, the Truffle Pizza was the highlight and would come back to try a specialty seasonal pizza!

Hell's Kitchen burger and fries

This is actually a combined Street Pizza/Street Burger Gordon Ramsay restaurant that serves both burgers and fries. I got the Hell's Kitchen burger and it was very good. My date also got a burger and seemed to enjoy it as well. The prices were reasonable all things considered. There are arcade games in the basement as well as a photo booth that was unfortunately out of service. There were a lot of kids occupying the arcade games but I suspect that won't be an issue later in the night-we were there pretty early.

This is definitely a place where you want to make reservations for. It can fill up fast and in a hurry especially when there is an event going on in the area. Even though it's street pizza, they also have a street burger menu as well with other apps. Started with some wings with their signature GFC sauce. Sauce it a little tangy and some spice. Just Ike everywhere else, the wing sizes are drastically decreasing and the prices are staying the same. Ordered a split pizza; half pepperoni and the other half mushrooms, chicken and bacon. Didn't take long to cook and came up perfect. Crust wasn't too hard or soft.

Truffle Pizza

The manager (Jonathan?) was pretty weird. Sending multiple people away saying it's reservation only. I went online and saw I could make a reservation right away and did so. Then the manager proceeded to say that there was something wrong with the system and that we couldn't be seated. I saw my name pop up on their computer system and pointed it out. To which he got super flustered and then said "I GUESS we can make something work." It wasn't just us. We sat by the host station and watched him proceed to continuously turn multiple people away. Unsure what's going on because wouldn't you want to have business? The food itself was very subpar. Around $70 including tip for 2 pizzas and 1 drink. The pizza was not flavorful and soggy. We expected more considering it's a Gordan Ramsay restaurant.

Watermelon Gin Fizz

I went here last week for dinner during my trip to Washington DC. I got the Pepperoni pizza & a Watermelon Gin Fizz. The bartender was friendly, but the ambiance was busy since it was a weekend & football night. However I'll definitely come back again when it's not as busy

The pizza was disappointed. The sauce was way too watery and the cheese was very bland. This is the 3rd time I've tried a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and each time I was not impressed. No more Gordon Ramsay restaurants for me.

Truffle pizza
Erica S.

I can't speak to everything on the menu but the thin sliced truffle pizza was great! I took off one star because the crust didn't leave an impression. The texture was tougher than I'd like with muted flavor; however, this was a delivery order so it's very possible it tastes way better directly from the oven.

Sticky Toffee Shake
Amber N.

The service was very friendly. I only stopped in for a milkshake to go. I love the sticky toffee cake at Hell's Kitchen so I figured the shake would have the same vibe. However, it didn't live up to the quality I expected with the name & price. It just tasted like a basic vanilla shake with hard toffee pieces and chewy cake pieces. The toppings were more annoying than tasty and it just felt like they didn't belong. The ice cream itself should have more toffee flavor.

Let's be real - this is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, how could I not rate is 5/5!? Okay but really, this was a great lunch! We went on the Fourth of July and were sat within 5 minutes of walking in. Our hose, server, and food runner were all extremely friendly. Our server immediately asked if we had any allergies/dietary restrictions which I appreciate it! Food came out fast and was delicious. We get the margarita pizza which was clearly made of very fresh ingredients. We also got the hotter than hell fries (they were not lying these are SPICY!) but nonetheless delicious. The inside was well decorated and an overall fun environment. Everything was very clean. The place is busy and casual, but not too loud. Highly recommend coming by here if you want to try out a celebrity restaurant!

Classic Margherita Pizza
Jay S.

When my friends and I ordered the two pizzas, both 'Nduja and Classic Margherita, they looked almost identical when they were given to us. However, the spicy 'nduja made all the difference and that itself was able to allow the two to be distinguished. In my opinion, the classic margherita was very mediocre. The tomato sauce had a weird artificial taste. There was very little fresh mozzarella so neither the flavor nor the texture was there. The basil pieces were so tiny that it didn't offer any flavor elevation. The 'nduja pizza had more depth to it because of the spiciness, which in a way also elevated the flavor of the tomato sauce because even if this pizza had almost the same ingredients as the classic margherita pizza, the tomato sauce did not taste artificial. I also felt like $18 for either pizza was slightly overpriced because the pizza slices were thin, which made the 12 inch pizza contain less ingredients than there normally would be for a pizza of such size. Regardless, I am not sure if I would return, but it was a good experience to have.

We are all gluten free due to Celiac Disease and were craving pizza after a long day walking around DC. Thanks goodness one of our group had dined here previously and recommended it. The pizzas were delicious, service exceptional and the varieties plentiful. Cannot wait to stop back here again.

My son made principals list and it was his turn to pick the restaurant for dinner...not sure how he found Gordon Ramsays Street Pizza but on Friday the 13th that's where we headed. Pretty decent crowd and a good amount of space. GR Pizza on top and GR Burgers in the basement...we were seated quickly and then it went down hill from there...could be short staffed or maybe it was more patrons than I thought...we ordered both pizza and burgers...the pizza falls flat...toppings fall off the bone lol...one thing I can't stand is a loose pizza...as soon as my son picked up the pizza the toppings fell in his lap...im glad I ordered a burger...you can't mess up a smash burger..WRONG...that was the driest burger I've had in my life. I was shocked when I took it apart to find no sauce of any kind on the bread...that's a crime especially when your bread is mediocre. I was fed up and ready to go but needed that sauce lol...my waiter never showed lol no ketchup on the table...so I just sat there and ate it...waste of calories and now I'm ashamed for my pointless workout. Feel free to try if you are close to caps arena...it's take a miracle for me to come back.

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

I grab and use in their entirety both the orange-y hot sauce and the green sauce every time while adding hatch chiles to the simplistico burrito. I've shown several other people this place and they loved it as well. When it turns to side door they make some bomb Detroit style pizza. I truly haven't had a bad example of the style yet. I don't know if I'm selecting well or if it's maybe just low key the ultimate style of pizza but this is yet another fantastic example. It's just a small, quick takeout place for the most part, though there is some seating outside when the weather is appropriate. As such, service is generally to the point which is fine by me.

Super Unique Setup With Cool Lights That Make It Easy To Spot. It's Different From Your Typical Pizza Place, Which I Actually Liked. Since It Was Monday, They Had Half-Off Pizzas If You Dine In & I Had To Take Advantage Of That. CHEESE PIZZA I Ordered A Cheese Pizza & Lemon Water. This Is Detroit-Style Pizza, So Don't Expect New York Style. It's Thick, With A Generous Amount Of Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. Honestly, It Almost Felt Like A Cheesy Bread Situation But In A Good Way. The Crust Was Buttery With A Slight Crisp On The Outside & Soft Inside, Which Was The Perfect Balance. The Ingredients Tasted Fresh, & It Was Very Filling. The Size I Got Came With 4 Slices, & Honestly, 2 Slices Was More Than Enough. I'd Definitely Come Back & Bring My Son This Feels Like A Spot He'd Love, Especially If He's Into Breadsticks & Cheesy Pizza. The Staff Was Decent, Though I Didn't Interact Much. The Overall Setup Is Interesting, A Full Restaurant Vibe Inside With This Separate Pizza Concept On The Side. Different, But It Works. When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
