Egg white omelette, grits and fruit.

I have lived in the area for 30 years and did not know for the last 10 of them that this place was here. Warm and cozy, bright, and inviting. Probably the best egg white omelette I've ever had. Also superfast Service and very friendly. Ariana and Emmy were lovely. I will be back with the rest of my family.

I'd already posted a review, but I'll gladly do it again. This hometown diner spot is a gem in the rough. As you approach the entrance, there's seating outdoors, and lots of dog bowls. They had me there! But once inside, I felt like it was a no judgement zone. The staff is very friendly, especially Stephanie, my favorite server, and I was able to have a hassle-free, very late breakfast with an old friend. We chatted, while delicious food was served. My veggie omelette and hash browns were out of this world delicious. My friend of 40 years is fighting cancer, and Stephanie was so patient and accommodating during our visit. I couldn't be more thankful. There was no feeling of being rushed, even as it was fairly busy. I love this place and will continue to visit whenever I'm in Palm Harbor.

Doing some early doctor visits and in the mood for Brunch, decided to go back to Flapjacks, having been there once before. It was busy but we were seated right away. Kennedy, our smiling and vivacious server, brought menus and waters. My wife went for the special Mexican Scramble with onions, green peppers, eggs, jalapeños, chorizo and pepper jack cheese and a side of whole wheat toast. I chose the Irish Bennie with corned beef hash and a side of grits. Both meals were excellent. The Scramble was delightful and had a nice heat. My Bennie was a delicious twist on a classic. Great food, excellent service, well worth a visit.

Food came a bit slow, but the food was so delicious it made up for it. The restaurant felt like an old fashioned diner, the place is local and I would recommend it.

I've passed this location numerous times since moving to Clearwater during the pandemic. I drive past the intersection of 580 and McMullen Booth Road numerous times. I happen to be up early this morning and did a U-turn just stop at flap jacks. I received a very warm welcome from a sweet, looking waitress named Kennedy once upon entering the building. She made great venue suggestions and seemed very knowledgeable about those. My food is fantastic. It was well worth stopping in this morning. The service was exceptional. Kennedy is an exceptional ambassador for your brand. I would highly recommend stopping in again, and especially asking for her . Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

Food was very good .. loved the hash brown sandwich with corned beef hash. Service wasn't amazing but everything else was very good

The food was very good! They do a hash brown sandwich with corned beef hash in it and it was amazing! Service was okay. Will Deff be back

    Strawberry crepes!

The place is very nice and cozy, and the food is priced very well, nothing out of his world but still very tasty. Menu has tons of options! Definitely would repeat if I lived in the area!!!!!

Our party of three were seated right away and brought menus. We scoured the menu and were brought drinks. My daughter chose the Black and Blue Bacon Burger, my daughter's beau selected the Bacon and Cheddar Burger, and I wanted to try the Womelette with Spinach and Feta. We chatted for a while and looked around the visually stunning room. There was a plush pony playing the piano, multiple unicorns, a psychedelic deer head, rainbows, and posters all around. It was walking into a My Little Pony dream. This also was the theme outside and even on their "company car." Our food came and the two were very impressed with the burgers. They were both tasty and did not spare the amount of Bacon! My first attempt at a Waffle/Omelet, the Womelette, was disappointing. I envisioned two halves (or whole) waffles, made from eggs alone, with the Feta and Spinach inside. Instead, they were placed on top of the waffle. This made for a very dry and disappointing taste. I'm glad I did try it. Luckily the two shared a couple bites of their burgers. A pleasant atmosphere, almost circus-like, and definitely eye catching. Service was great and I think it would be a great place to bring our grandkids.

We were seated as soon as we arrived, and throughout our visit the service was really good. My friend and I were having a very hard time deciding, and when we asked the server, she flat out told us that the two things we were torn between were awesome and we should order both and split them. We got the shrimp and grits and the lobster Benedict. On their own, the grits weren't anything special, although they were texturally great. Now when you add the shrimp and gravy . . . This dish is a whole other deal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was super well balances. It had the perfect level of spice. The lobster Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, and it worked so well. The mornay sauce was a lovely touch. I'd definitely order it again, but I would also definitely order the shrimp again. Long story short, our server was right, they were both amazing. I also got a standard Bloody Mary, which was solid. I would definitely go back to this place. It's got an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere, and I think it's a great spot for locals and out of towners alike. It's also well priced. I'd also love to try their beignets or French toast next time. They've also got a huge lunch/dinner menu that I'd definitely want to try if I were in town for longer.

Ambience was like your regular breakfast place or diner, but definitely family friendly. We were there with our 8 month old baby boy and felt comfortable. Food tasted pretty okay, we ordered coconut shrimp, fish n chips and chicken tacos for brunch! The fish was a little undercooked and the batter was still a bit wet inside. Other items were not bad. For drinks, I ordered their popular pomegranate mimosa which came really flat (no bubblies) and in a wine glass! I sent it back and got a mojito instead - which tasted a lot better! Additionally, we were not aware the breakfast menu closes at 12 pm and we were already seated, so kind of felt obligated to order from the lunch menu at around 12.05 pm! It was too early for a sea food lunch for us! We saw the table next to us had ordered breakfast just a few minutes before us but we were denied because it was already past noon. Overall a pretty average experience. I was expecting a little more authentic experience but turned out to be just like your local diner.

The BBQ was a sweet sauce and the Disco Dip was a light brown gravy. Both were very tasty! The Prescription Lemonade adult beverages were veeeerrrry good as well, one Strawberry version and one Blood Orange. Service was excellent...and it was a quiet place. We talked briefly with the couple at the next table as they were also "dog" and "horse" people. Overall a great experience....I found out later that they also play classic movies in their back room for a definitely unique date night option for people.

It has a pretty amazing bakery section when you walk through the back door to enter the restaurant. I was starving and picked the biggest thing on the menu which is the smokehouse platter and you get a ton of food with this platter (Brisket, pulled pork, quarter rack of ribs all served with coleslaw, Texas toast & side of fries.) I thought the price was absolutely amazing because you get all the food for $28.95. Needless to say as starved as I was, I couldn't even finish the whole meal. Our server was Scott and he was pretty amazing and he was training a new hire and I'm sorry but I can't remember her name but she was equally great and explained the menu really well. It's really a bonus that they stay open till 11 PM Thursday through Saturday. So anything you get that is from the BBQ...they bring out this 4 pack of house sauce. I tried each of them and all were great and had their own unique taste. Chipotle White, PD BBQ, Korean BBQ, Carolina BBQ. The Korean BBQ was definitely my favorite. The chipotle white is kind of almost like a mayonnaise in my opinion. The inside while definitely fresh and clean looking...it does have a sort of rustic, actual prohibition older type feel. They do have a cute bar inside if you choose to stop for a drink. The ribs were the worst I have had in my entire life. In fact, before Prohibition, I didn't know ribs could be bad. It's either little meat or juice fall off the bone. The ribs at prohibition have NO meat and what meat exists is SO dried out that you can't get it off in order to eat it. They were completely inedible. The flavor is peppery but no meat comes off the bone. It's like a chew toy for a dog. The rosemary fries are ok. The chicken sandwich is dry and flavorless and the risotto shouldn't be called risotto. Gordon would have a lot to say about that risotto. But those ribs went straight into the garbage. What a huge waste of money. If I wasn't with a group of strangers I would have said something. So much effort was spent on the outside of the building and none on hiring people who can actually cook. I walked out with a $50 tab and still hungry. Major disappointment. I cannot recommend Prohibition Dunedin unless it's only for a drink.
