Booth seating

It was so great to speak with Chef. His plating shows his art and the fact that all ingredients are fresh shows how much he cares. It's lovely to be in Safety Harbor at Brinehouse looking out the window. Fresh roses on every table. Plenty of seating. We were happy to get there early enough to have the only booth, but table seats are good too.

Somehow we've missed this gem until now! It's tucked away between a couple different restaurants but is by far my favorite restaurant in safety harbor now. The food has such great flavor and the menu has a wonderful variety. The staff is very friendly and they have an open kitchen concept. I can't wait to come back. Inside the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. The star of the show was the Gouda grits. You HAVE to get those when dining here!

Great atmosphere in downtown safety harbor. I thought parking would be difficult but there were spots on the side streets that was free. I ordered the bbq chicken with macaroni salad and cauliflower purées and it was so good! I usually am picky about my bbq sauce but this place had it soo good! It wasn't overly sweet which I like. I really enjoyed the chicken too. The meat was tender and full of flavor. For the sides: The cauliflower purée was a bit salty but still really good. The macaroni salad was pretty good too. My toddler really enjoyed that the best. Service was great and it wasn't too crowded so I really enjoyed my meal here!

Eggs benedict modified to by substituting salmon instead of Canadian bacon served with a side of gouda grits. Yummy

We went in for Sunday brunch. The service was prompt. The restaurant was clean. The staff was really nice and went above and beyond to accommodate to our requests. They had nice menu options and quite the variety for a brunch. It also had a lot of brunch style drinks like mimosas, Bellinis, and bloody Marys, etc. We had the eggs benedict over a homemade biscuit that they modified to add salmon instead of Canadian bacon. It was absolutely wonderful and perfectly cooked. One of my friends had the steak and eggs which the steak was absolutely tender and delicious. It was a perfect brunch all the way around. The coffee was excellent! Definitely a place to go! Families welcome. Kid friendly options available. This is located in downtown Safety Harbor. After brunch, take a stroll through the quaint town and visit the many shops with a variety of styles. Perfect for a Sunday Funday event!

The food never disappoints!! Consistently over the top flavours with a chef that knows their stuff. We like to sit at the bar as Staci is always so friendly and makes great drinks. She has been there awhile and even points out new specials. We often order the Trifecta and split it. It has the choice of 3 types of smoked proteins. We love every thing on list and it's hard to pick 3. Al the sides are also very good. The Brussel sprouts and cheese grits are some of the best I've had. The entire restaurant is also just a nice local vibe. If you are in town try them out you won't be sorry.

Spicy cauliflower soup

This was my first visit here to the Brinehouse, so like with other places, I don't really know what to expect. My server was very polite and very knowledgeable of the menu, when I asked her for recommendations, she mentioned a few of her favorites, which really didn't catch my interest that much, but kudos to her for recommending such a wide assortment of meals. I settled for the cauliflower soup as an appetizer, which was a little spicy, but it was very, very good. The presentation was in my opinion top-notch. In fact, it was so good that I can make a meal of that in itself. My main dish was the swine and seafood, which was swimming in grits! Please don't get me wrong. The shrimp and the swine were really good the pork was crispy and very, very flavorful! The shrimp also had a good taste to it and was cooked thoroughly, but I can't get over the fact that it was swimming in grits even though the sauce they put on did have a good flavor. I definitely will go back again, but most definitely will not have the same thing over again, as there are many other options to choose from. Did I mention that , my server was very friendly and knowledgeable?

I was invited to join my fellow foodie friend to a Spanish Wine Dinner at The Brinehouse in November. I've been on and off sick since Thanksgiving so this review is a bit late. In any case, my husband is from Spain and I've traveled throughout Spain on many occasions for the last 15 years or so (I would say at least 10 times minimum). Needless to say, I made a point to eat all the different dishes in several regions of Spain with many foodie tours. With that said, I was very excited for this Spanish inspired dinner. I don't really drink alcohol anymore as a personal choice and health reasons, but will have some wine on occasion. Though the dishes were not traditional Spanish dishes, I was very impressed with the execution of their Spanish inspired menu. The dishes were quite unique, the flavors blew me away, and the wine pairing was on point. Reception Course: Croquetas de Cabrales First Course: Serrano Ham-Wrapped Quail Second Course: Bacala Third Course: Duck Paella Fourth Course: Creme Catalina The croquetas were frankly the best I've ever had. The Serrano Ham-wrapped Quail and Bacalao were unique and tasty. The duck breast and chorizo in the paella were nice touches, as I've probably had every different variety of paella in Spain except this. I don't even think I've ever seen this as an option. The only issue I had with this dish is that there should be a larger rice ratio with paella dishes. This was packed with duck meat, when I little would have gone a long way. Don't get me wrong. The flavors were amazing! Just less meat and more rice, please. Finally, the Crema Catalin was the perfect end to a fantastic dinner. It was the perfect combination of light and not to sweet with fresh fruit. As mentioned earlier, their wine pairings were perfect and accented each dish. See photo for menu. I highly recommend wine dinners at The Brinehouse. I can't wait to return and try more of the chef's unique creations.

We stopped here while on a small vacation and it was great! The service was pretty quick, the food was good and I had a cider that was made by a brewery that they sell and it was super good. The ambiance is cute as well sat outside and got to enjoy the evening.

This is a cute place with lots to offer! The first time I went was for a trivia night and it was a blast! They had themed food and drinks for the occasion which was such a nice touch! We had such a good time that we keep coming back. Service is always great, everyone is so friendly and welcomes cyou in as soon as you walk through the door. The food is delicious, never any complaints. I highly recommend the poutine!! Everything is portioned well so you will either leave satisfied or with left overs. The drinks are very tasty as well, with lots of options and specials. They always have something new to try depending on the theme, season, or holiday, so you can never get bored with the menu! It's also very reasonably priced and worth the drive from Tampa!

The biscuits and gravy

Easily one of the top brunch spots on Main Street! Came here for a birthday event and loved the selection of breakfast favorites, creative cocktails and of course mimosas. I went with the indulgent biscuits and gravy. They were light, fluffy and moist in a creamy gravy that was sprinkled with cubes of pork belly. It came with a nice helping of eggs too. I think you'd certainly be able to split this with someone and get something sweet on the side. Everyone enjoyed their food and despite our large party it was fast and without any hiccups. We'll be back!

Mango bread pudding and seasonal pumpkin dessert jar.

I enjoyed the excellent meats, full of robust flavors, served hot and fresh to your table right from the visibly flaming grill. The chicken wing platter is plentiful and juicy on the inside. A highlight for our group was the crisp but tender pork belly. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and was equally delighted with the mini, crunchy pork belly croutons. The portions here are huge, and we all asked for to-go containers. Don't skip the seasonal dessert jar, as it was a treat. Vegetarian options are available too, like other salads and the fried pickle platter. The end to a satisfyingly rich and memorable dinner for me was the mango and lychee bread pudding. A sweet mix of a familiar dessert with a tropical twist. Great drink options to too, like a Two Chick's Paloma in a beautifully feminine can. Be sure to visit The Brinehouse on an empty stomach and make way for incredible flavor.

Great restaurant in Safety Harbor. The good news about this restaurant is on a Sunday for lunch there was a lot of parking around it. I'm always worried about Safety Harbor and parking, but this place seemed to be surrounded by parking lots/parking. I was nervous on a Sunday that it would be packed, but at noon we were the first table (there were people at the bar), by about 12:30 there were more parties, but still tons of seating. On Sunday they only serve the brunch menu, but there's still non brunchy stuff on it. I got the Green Goddess Salad, which is new. I thought it was good, but not great. The avocado tasted a little too ripe (extra soft) and they had so much dressing on it. Overall it is a solid salad, although I'm surprised that without protein it is $16. That's a little on the pricier side. My friend got an eggs benedict and it was huge. That was definitely worth the price. It was a lot of carbs though (the biscuit it came on was huge) so she took a lot of it home. Service was prompt and super friendly. The atmosphere is cheery and bright. I liked this place and will definitely come back.

I remembered this spot from when it was Green Springs. This bistro is terrific - it has the perfect mix of options for brunch. Would look forward to trying it for dinner. The food was still great and the service was fast and friendly. We didn't over indulge. We just enjoyed a Fried Green Tomato BLT and BLT Benedict - crispy potatoes on the side were divine. Love the setting of the restaurant - it's in a repurposed bungalow. We also sat in the front of the restaurant - it's bright and cheery and quiet - would definitely recommend this spot if you can snag it. The atmosphere in other parts of the restaurant are cozy too - but this spot feels very quiet, even though it's upfront and next to the front door. Would love to come back for another visit. Bonus is getting to visit the market on Sunday right afterwards!

I was excited to try the bourbon honey eggs benedict for a unique take on this breakfast food. Unfortunately, it fell flat. It's one huge eggs benedict instead of two which was surprising. The bread (which looks like a huge burger bun) was way too big and thick for the amount of toppings on it. It also needed way more sauce as a result of the huge bread as it was overall a very dry eggs benedict. I really feel the flavors would be much better appreciated on a more traditional English muffin (or at least a significantly smaller piece of bread).

Our party of three were seated right away and brought menus. We scoured the menu and were brought drinks. My daughter chose the Black and Blue Bacon Burger, my daughter's beau selected the Bacon and Cheddar Burger, and I wanted to try the Womelette with Spinach and Feta. We chatted for a while and looked around the visually stunning room. There was a plush pony playing the piano, multiple unicorns, a psychedelic deer head, rainbows, and posters all around. It was walking into a My Little Pony dream. This also was the theme outside and even on their "company car." Our food came and the two were very impressed with the burgers. They were both tasty and did not spare the amount of Bacon! My first attempt at a Waffle/Omelet, the Womelette, was disappointing. I envisioned two halves (or whole) waffles, made from eggs alone, with the Feta and Spinach inside. Instead, they were placed on top of the waffle. This made for a very dry and disappointing taste. I'm glad I did try it. Luckily the two shared a couple bites of their burgers. A pleasant atmosphere, almost circus-like, and definitely eye catching. Service was great and I think it would be a great place to bring our grandkids.
