Initially I thought this was a chain restaurant because it was attached to the mall. This is the only location in Clearwater. We had to try it with the name bacon in the title. It was a decent sized restaurant. The setting was comfortable. They have bathrooms in the back corner instead of having to go through the mall to find one. The servers wore shirts with catchy phrases on them. The waitresses were very friendly. The one lady that helped us was new, and the other waitress who was helping her was great. Her shirt said "Don't go bacon my heart " others had different slogans. They have a great selection for gluten free options. We enjoyed the food here. Looking forward to the next time we come here. I will try something different.

Came here for a late brunch today around 1:30pm, party of 4. Was about a 15 min wait. I got the mini breakfast with French toast - for less than $12 you can get 2 eggs, a sausage, a bacon, and a French toast - really a steal in my book! Also got an apple juice. Pros: - they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around the mall area while waiting - easy parking lot in the mall - pretty quick service, our waiter Michael was friendly and competent - you can buy pie too! We got 2 pies for about $19 - they look small but are actually filling Cons: - the round booth was a little uncomfortable, but not a dealbreaker. Pretty solid breakfast - the mini breakfast was the perfect size for me when I wasn't starving. Their potatoes were also very well seasoned but not too salty!

We visited Bacon Street Diner at Countryside Mall with a party of six on a busy Saturday afternoon and were seated in about 15 minutes, which was impressive considering how busy it was. The service was friendly and the timing between plates was consistent, even with a full dining room. What we ordered: The special of the day was an open-faced turkey sandwich served with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, carrots and green beans. It was a true comfort food plate. The turkey was tender, the gravy rich and everything tasted homemade. It felt like Thanksgiving dinner in the best way. The 3-egg omelette with spinach, sausage and feta was fresh and flavorful and cooked well. The only thing to note is that add-ons are $1.50 each, so the price can add up quickly depending on what you choose. The fish and chips with dill sauce were crispy and well seasoned. The portion was generous and the dill sauce paired perfectly. The corned beef and hash skillet was hearty, savory and full of flavor. A great choice if you love diner style breakfast dishes. We also ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries, which was simple, satisfying and cooked the way we asked. The kids chicken strips and fries were crispy and fresh, and a definite hit. Before leaving, we walked by the dessert case and it absolutely stopped us in our tracks. Pies, cream puffs and house-made desserts that looked incredible. We were way too full to try one this time, but they will definitely be the reason we return. Overall, great food, generous portions, friendly service and a dessert case that demands a second visit. We'll definitely be back, especially to finally try a slice of pie or a cream puff.

Never had a bad meal here! So many items are clearly made fresh, in-house. They can get busy so I recommend checking in online before you go. When they are packed it can be a bit noisy. I only mention that so you don't expect intimate conversation. One of my all time favorite breakfast spots. I want to with my way through the entire menu.

What a DELICIOUS spot for BRUNCH!! Located In the outskirts of the Country Side Mall, this is a must-to if you're in the area. Checked in online, and we were seated right away, and started with $2 dollar flavored mimosas. It's very modern, clean, and well lit inside. Customer service is great and you can tell that the employees, enjoy their jobs. I had the 1/2 Bacon Chicken Waffle Tower w/Maple Bacon Cream Puff on the top! Sooooo good, and great combo of flavors of savory/sweet and honestly the best bacon I have ever had at a place. The Maple Bacon is caramelize, which gives it a great texture and flavor! My wife had the Apple Cinnamon French Toast! It has, powdered sugar, warm cinnamon apples and bacon bits sprinkled on top of the whip cream, I had a bite and was blown away! Service is quick, and the location is great, if you just want to look around the mall after. What an amazing brunch! Like my boy Arnold said.."I'll be back"

I took my daughter and son-in-law here on a Sunday about 11:15 AM. We had to wait for a table but then ended up at the bar which is first come first serve. There was three or four people behind the bar counter, but service was spotty. It was busy so there is that. They have an extensive menu for both breakfast and lunch items. I like that they have a smaller menu that's a bit more affordable with smaller portions. All of our orders were correct however, my daughter wished that her egg whites had been a little more done since she had asked for that. The crispy chicken bowl was very tasty. My son-in-law really enjoyed his sausage links. The French toast and pancakes were some of the fluffiest I have seen in a while. I was surprised that there was a $3.49 up charge to add chocolate chips to my daughter's pancakes. Pancakes were already included as part of her breakfast. She simply wanted chocolate chips added. The maple bacon cream puff that comes with the pancake and French toast dish was amazing! My daughter didn't want hers and I happily gave it a taste test and at $.89 a piece, I thought about getting several more however I had to step away because I have Girl Scout cookies at home. This is a little far from our normal area. We were up this way looking at a car dealership. It is part of the mall which allows a great amount of parking. It's right at the entry door near the Red Robin. So you do not have to walk through the countryside mall to get to it. If I was in this area again, I'd certainly give another consideration. Enjoy!

Fun spot that was able to accommodate 15 people on a whim. They put us by the bathroom even though the restaurant was empty but that's ok. We had loud kids so that worked out. Everything was huge portions. Meatloaf was good and flavored. My Salisbury steak was huge but had no love seasoned on it.... Tasted more like hospital food where you have to add the salt and pepper. They are a scratch kitchen so everything is made in house so that's a plus.

Found this place bc we needed a bloody Mary and we were going to see a movie. This place is in the mall with the movie theater so it worked out perfect. Service was great. Friendly staff, and the food was perfect. The Bacon Bloody Mary was awesome. Super cute place, with cookies and pies and more. Can't wait to go again.

we originally went here soon after they opened and had an absolutely ridiculously bad time and left…read morea review for them. To be fair, we were told by the manager to call, give them another chance to make it right etc. However, we didn't call and only gave them a second chance this morning with friends. The reason I didn't call to "make it right" was I want the experience I have at a restaurant to be organic, and not get special or specialized treatment because we made a complaint. Now, on to our adventure today. We (a party of 4) arrived around 1020ish and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty full, which was expected as it was a Sunday morning. The lady who seated us (not our waitress...tall with long dark hair) was very friendly, chatty, and funny. We appreciated her service. Our waitress was quite inattentive. We each got a cup of coffee, along with waters, iced tea, etc. Once we got our drinks and the orders were placed, we didn't see the waitress again until after the food was delivered (i.e., a very, very long time). The tall dark-haired lady finally came around and refilled our coffee/tea/water after they had all sat empty for 10+ minutes. The wait for the food was so, so, so long. We waited close to 45+ minutes for our food (nothing special, nothing fancy, straight up off the menu, no changes or alterations). This has not improved since the last time we were there and it is just baffling to me that it takes so long to get food out. The biscuits and gravy were enjoyed enjoyed, however 2 of the 4 biscuits were so hard she could not cut them with the fork, and with very very great difficulty with the knife. The tops of the biscuits were soft and pillowy but the bottom were pucks. This time the eggs seemed to have been cooked properly My husband was not happy with the omelette he got, and they took that off the bill without us asking. She did mention that she could have another order put in for him but (and these are her words), "It would take about 15 hours for you to get your new plate of food." We declined a new order and thanked her for taking it off the check. I got a sandwich and it was fine, nothing special but also not awful. Our other friend got a full breakfast platter which he enjoyed. He said the pancakes were very fluffy. So, in this updated review, I have increased the stars for the food because it wasn't *as* awful as last time, but still problematic. The worst thing, which was an issue with our first visit, is the wait time for food. It is just too. dang. long. I look at a place like Lennys, where we would have been in, seated and eating by the time we got our first coffee refill (also much too long in a breakfast place.....just....have coffee ready??). We did note when we walked in there were only 3 servers for the dining room --- perhaps they were short staffed which is why we only saw our server 4 times --- once for drinks, once to take food orders, and once to check on food, and once to drop the check. It was the lady who seated us who had a great rapport with the table, who was cheerful and friendly who can take credit for the two stars in ambience. In the end, we gave them another shot. No one at the table was impressed. The kitchen is woefully slow. The service was inattentive. we will not be coming back.

The burgers are Wagyu Beef based and deeeeelicious! I ordered the Sonny Corleone which was the aforementioned Wagyu Beef topped with Swiss Cheese, Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions....fantastic! Terri ordered the Speak Cheesy Burger which was the Wagyu Beef topped with homemade Mac and Cheese and then smothered with melted American Cheese....amazing. The fries were a notch above and their Onion Tanglers were thinly cut onions rings and one gets to choose from a large list of dipping sauces...we went with Bourbon BBQ and Disco Dip. The BBQ was a sweet sauce and the Disco Dip was a light brown gravy. Both were very tasty! The Prescription Lemonade adult beverages were veeeerrrry good as well, one Strawberry version and one Blood Orange. Service was excellent...and it was a quiet place. We talked briefly with the couple at the next table as they were also "dog" and "horse" people. Overall a great experience....I found out later that they also play classic movies in their back room for a definitely unique date night option for people.
