They can scramble eggs here! It's hard to find a breakfast place that doesn't served a chopped up omelette for their scrambled eggs so I can appreciate that. Bacon is good quality, thick and has flavor. I loved the honey potatoes and the craft lemonades were good. My only suggestion is to make real corned beef hash. The canned stuff is ok if you mix it with the home fries. But some chopped up corned beef brisket, onions and peppers would be a nice elevation. I landed on the Country omelette with Sausage,green peppers,onions and cheddar cheese, toped with country sausage gravy Awesome omelette. Den grabbed the COUNTRY FRIED STEAK. A couple times a month I get out for breakfast, and this is a favorite of mine. The Early Bird is a local spot, small inside with a few tables out front if you like dining outdoors. Not fancy food but very good food! A recent visit featured a Veggie Omelet and their "combo" breakfast where you make your choices from a variety of items. Being a casual spot there's a laid back comfortable vibe and the servers are as friendly as you'll find anywhere. And they are good at what they do. We searched Yelp for a nice local place for breakfast and the great reviews for Early Bird were spot on. A well managed local eatery with locals and travelers dining. You know you found the right spot when the locals eat here too! We ate the cinnamon French toast and a two egg combo. Food was cooked to perfection. Including the bacon, which I always order crispy and rarely get perfect the cute little tea service with the biscuit was a nice touch. Our waitress Kristen was very attentive and friendly. I happened upon this little breakfast place on my walk on Sunday. I was greeted by Lauren and she was so kind and friendly. My server, Owen, could not have been nicer and attentive in this little busy place. And sweet Jessica when I told her the ladies room was out of paper towels. She immediately took care of it. Now the food part! I had the "fit omelette" (no turkey) that was delicious and the home fries were crispy and have delicious seasoning. I treated myself to a slice of pumpkin cinnamon toast and black coffee. The early bird is clean with simple nice decor but I was told they're starting renovations 11/3/25. I was in Pinellas Park briefly to pick something up, and in unfamiliar territory. So I turned to Yelp for a recommendation for lunch. The ratings were spot on. The food is exemplary. I had a hard time choosing between the Reuben and the avocado egg sandwich, but since it was lunchtime I settled on the Reuben. It arrived in no time by a very friendly waitress, and the plate piled with copious amounts of perfectly crisped french fries. Usually come here once every couple weeks and had such a bad experience today that I just won't be back. As a server myself I understand situations happen, but this just seemed intentional and petty. Put our name on the waitlist and was told 20 minutes. Which is fine, no big deal. We sat at the table outside right behind the door. After 20 minutes we saw on the notepad through the window that we were next. The hostess then proceeds to cross our name out without calling for us. After a few minutes we ask if she called our name and she said no. So we wait another ten minutes. We go inside and say something and she lies and says she called our name. We were sitting right outside the door, we would have heard it and had just asked if she called our name and she said no? We weren't the only ones this happened to. Two other groups both parties of two as well had the same issue. Like they were skipping parties of two hoping for bigger tables. Once we were finally seated we were met with nothing but rudeness. Not once did the server come check up on us. No one filled our waters but every other table around us was getting checked on with good service. Then someone came and filled my coffee and poured from the pot way in the air so it splashed. This was not how everyone else's coffee was getting poured. Finally after just sitting there waiting to be checked on we had to flag someone down for a box and a check so we could just leave. read more
