    Philly Cheesesteak Fry
    Ian S.

The servers were pretty standard. Didn't smile much, just there to get your orders and fill your drinks every once in a while. The ambience is cramped due to lack of space. The Philly cheesesteak and bowl were pretty lackluster. It honestly wasn't that expensive though so you kinda pay for what you get I guess, haha. We probs won't be coming back.

Take it from a born and raised Pennsylvania girl, their Philly cheese steaks were AMAZING!! Even had Amoroso Rolls!!! The onion rings were the size of a donut and delicious! One of the best Lobster rolls I've ever had! Only took about 3 years to find a place that comes close to PA's cheesesteaks, We will be back!

Right on the Johns Pass Boardwalk- this little place is a yummy stop! It is tiny but has inside and outside seating with a real beach feel. The staff work together to make sure everyone is taken care of. We just wanted a little snack so my son and I split the Boardwalk Philly Fries- these were fresh cut potato fries with a huge mound of Philly meat, nacho cheese and grilled onions- WAY yummy and WAY more than enough! Nice stop on the Boardwalk!

This was unexpectedly and by far our best meal while on a weekend staycation in Treasure Island area! You'd never think this tiny, unassuming spot in John's Pass would have such quality and delicious food. It's very east coast feeling- their most popular offering is the lobster roll, and for good reason. It's gigantic and SO good. But everything we tried was really good. The Boardwalk Grill is super small, so there was a wait when we got there and I'm assuming most days there are, but wow was it worth it. Even the fried clam bites I got were so fresh and yummy. I will surely come back again for the shrimp tacos and lobster roll. What this place lacks in personality/ aesthetic it more than makes up for in what they serve!!

Fish tacos and macaroni salad. The tacos had huge chunks of fish! They were good. Mac salad was okay

The food was good and the view was wonderful. It wasn't busy when we went for dinner. You can sit inside or outside on the water and it's a small place. Service was good. The shrimp tacos were great. The fish poboy was good, but a bit too much bread/garnish to fish ratio. The Mac salad was alright, but I wouldn't get again. The onion rings were good. I thought we'd want more food, but we were both stuffed a little bit leftover.

    Delicious onion rings!

The Boardwalk Grill id the best food, the best people and the best place for beer in John's Pass. Yes, it's small, yes, you'll probably have to wait for a table, but it's worth every single minute. Grab a beer while you wait, watch for dolphins, watch the boats and jet ski's and prepared yourself for delicious food. Sit inside, sit on the boardwalk, immerse yourself in the beauty of John's Pass. It's repeatable. It's delicious. It's the best.

We love coming here! Staff is always on point. Food is amazing. We had an hour wait, but we did not mind at all.

A server at another restaurant said we had to go here for the Lobster Rolls, so we made a little day trip to the boardwalk and snagged one of the 2 outside tables. The service was excellent, the people watching was fun, and the LR was my first and best! We also had the clam strips, which we equally enjoyed. We will go here again when we visit the area, and we don't often do return visits! A treat in local and quay-side cuisine.

Service was friendly. Restaurant was clean. We ordered the fish and chips . It was enough for 2 . Grouper was the fish. The fish was not drained ( very greasy) . The grouper wasn't soft and flaky. The seasoned fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. Cole slaw was good. Wish we had got the lobster. Everything usually is great.

It's a small joint. Service was quick. Grouper nuggets were yummy. We ordered the Cajun fish tacos. I wish they were spicier but they were still good. Fun spot to people watch and see some dolphins.

Had to add photos of our second visit. Also outstanding and also beat the crowd by arriving about 5 pm. Line grew quickly after we were seated again. Love the cheesesteak! And fries still the best in the area.

This is the second time I've been here (I live in Utah) and I think it's such a great place to grab lunch or dinner after enjoying time at the beach! They have great sandwiches, salads, drinks, and more. One of my favorite things to get is the fried Oreos and fried grouper!! Yum. Service is awesome. The people that work here are extremely kind. Gotta love the Boardwalk Grill!

Great small casual place right on boardwalk with great view. We had chef salad & lobster roll. The chef salad was fresh & generous. The lobster roll was 99% lobster with small amount of celery & dressing to give crunch and hold it together. The bun was lightly buttered & toasted. Service was great

    Lobster roll - real good!

Is this restaurant wheelchair friendly? How many stairs going in? up? down? Is there handicap parking?

The restaurant itself is part of the boardwalk which does have an elevator and ramp. The restaurant itself does have a step up into the store front. The general public parking may have some handicap spaces nearby.

    Is there parking?

John's Pass is a fun place to stroll around. Claudia is correct--the restaurant overlooks the water, so you need to park somewhere in/around the John's Pass shopping area.

Customer service was on point, friendly and fun. Shop vibe was sassy, cute and fun. As a bonus, the music was great too. I love alternative and they played old and new. Their oatmilk is great, they had agave and they shook up my drink upon request which is the not-so-secret secret to making iced lattes so much better. This would be my local for sure. The parking can be tricky. We came with plenty of spots and with no spots. It is a touristy area so be prepared for that. We came with hardly anyone there and with a line out the door but that doesn't bother me, it tells me that it's good. Once I got inside the line was smooth and my order came up quick. A little dark inside. Plenty of seating, both tables and booths. The service is attentive and frequent. The food is good. Really good. I ordered a spinach and swiss cheese omelette. It is served with home fries, a slice of fruit (in this case, orange) butered toast and strawberry jam. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and home fries. Also served with orange slice and buttered toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked. NO brown spots. The spinach had flavor, home fries were soft on the outside and crispy on the outside. The bacon is salty, crispy and sooo good. The portions are big. The price point is comfortable. BUT unfortunately, the coffee is needs improvement. That is the negative I have for this wonderful place. Do yourself the favor and read the front of the menu. Very insightful.

WARNING-VERY HONEST REVIEW…read more We eat out a lot and mostly leave positive reviews but we can't in good faith give Breeze a good review. First, we arrived at 12 noon, put in our name with Sofia who gave us a 20-30 minute wait time. When we returned 25 mins later, the party in front of us was complaining about waiting an hour yet she told them we were before them and she didn't have their name. She proceeded to seat them discretely before us. After 50+ minutes we said something. She told us to leave a bad review and to leave the restaurant. We had waited so long and lost opportunities to put in our name at other restaurants so we decided to wait. After an hour, we said something. We had watched another table waiting the last 20 minutes for their bill so they could pay and leave. Finally the manger came out and said no worries, we would have a table and he got us seated quickly. He assigned Nate as our waiter. We were optimistic that we were on our way to a great brunch as one person in our party had come to the restaurant and had a good experience before and so we were hopeful. We immediately placed our order since we had time to review the menu, we asked for waters and drinks. Water never came until we asked again. Silverware never came until we asked for silverware. . When the food did come it was meh. Crepe was dry, wrap was cold, best part of the meal was the Bloody Marys. The table next to us overheard our conversation and said they were also having an awful experience with the staff and would not return. Nate then told us we were difficult for no reason. When we had asked for the bill he told us he didn't divide it in 2 bills because he did it on purpose. He also said "my name is Nate, go ahead and write a bad review about me". We never intended to write any reviews. It was just an awful experience. We will never return and it would have taken such a small effort to make amends once we were seated, but instead the staff was rude and instigated patrons who were giving the restaurant business. Our community is small, we support only local businesses, but not this one.
