I can't speak for everyone else I can only say the day my daughter and I went. Everyone was absolutely excellent. The view was excellent. The food was excellent and we got there at an excellent hour. The Staff were Excellent! Donna thank you! I couldn't sum it up any better than to declare all of it as Excellent!

After we consumed lobster, crab, and shrimp. The were out of oysters We made up for it.

We totally indulged here! It was my sister's 50th and it was the perfect spot. Even though the place is huge, I recommend making reservations. Quality of the food was top-notch. It can be a bit loud, but that comes and goes. We even ended the night moving to the dance floor for a couple Santana songs. Great fun!

The crab and shrimp boil was delicious.

This place is great. We went for an early dinner (5:00) and glad we did because it got very busy. The service was great and so were the happy hour specials. The house margarita was very good. We had the crab and shrimp boil. It was so delicious. There was a lot of food and it was all amazing. It was $39 but well worth it. We enjoyed every bite.

Great food, great service, great old school feel. Maddie was our server. My wife has been serving for the best coconut shrimp.... She found them.

Our first time here! We came with some friends on a weekend and were able to get right in. There are lots of tables in the restaurant side with a really nice view from the window tables. They also have a bar side to the left of the restaurant entrance. I'm not sure if food is served over there. All the kids ordered chicken tenders and fries and it was pretty standard. My husband and I ordered the Snow crab legs, and our friends ordered the stone crab. He did have questions about the size and they so kindly walked us over some of the claws to show how big they were! So nice. We really enjoyed the food! There's also a little dock you can walk down to rent clear kayaks and go paddling. Really cute!!

We were excited to get the Lobster a la cart 14.99 special. I was not expecting a whole lobster, and it was delicious! Service was pleasant, and the place is huge with TVs in one areas and the best A/C ! Can't wait to come back!

    Enjoy the ride!

Love Billy's for the resilience and dedication they have had over the many years! The place for crab legs and a great salad. Not a place for wanna be "foodies" or influencers who want to give shitty reviews to make themselves feel better! Support our locals who invest in our community!

What an awesome spot! Tasty food and drinks, phenomenal service and really cool atmosphere. Tons of seating in multiple areas and lots of TVs. We enjoyed the stone crab claws, lobster special, hush puppies, conch fritters, cajun fries, cole slaw and key lime pie. Will definitely be back!

Top tier place with old Florida charm. Come here by car, or by boat if you'd dare-- the food is sure to make you smile! Multiple venues onsite make for a perfect experience. Don't forget to check out the loft bar for live music and views.

Ask the Community - Billy's Stone Crab

Is the steak any good, frozen?

The steak is actually very good, but I'd definitely recommend the Stone Crab over the steak if you like Seafood.

Can I get in by boat, figure 3 ft draft? Thanks.

Yes depending on tide situation. They have a large dock. Fab food - highly recommend! I go there every single time I am in St Pete. Amazing smoked fish spread and more.… Read more

The food was the standout -- fresh, perfectly prepared, and plated like they actually care about what they're serving. Every dish had that balance of flavor that tells you the kitchen knows what it's doing. The ambiance is relaxed but still feels special enough for a night out. It's one of those spots that makes you slow down a little and just enjoy being there. Definitely a place I'd come back to and bring people I want to impress.

There were hardly any cars or people sitting outside. Then a server opened the door...and at around 7pm we found the spot kinda empty. Good or bad sign? They sat us down and looked at the menu. It looked good but didn't see much variety. It was much higher type of seafood dishes and beef options. We did come here bc of a reservation so we went further. We chose the mussels in a tomato sauce as appetizers to begin. We ordered the Pinot Grigio and unfortunately I had to send mine glass back bc it just wasn't a good wine. Had to ask for more bread bc you can't give me mussels with a great sauce and not use bread to finish it. They were good size mussels. We shared the entree which was the seafood pappardelle pasta in a cream sauce which had lobster, shrimp, and scallops. The sauce was good but they must have salted the pasta a bit too much which def made the dish richer. The service was good, but for the prices here you'd expect something more since the server did not know about the sauces and how things were prepared. Kinda of a bummer when she had to go back to the chef to ask. But it seemed everything was just higher in price. Overall it was ok. Just for the prices, you expect the food to be exceptional. Things just didn't align.

We parked down the block and walked over since we were early for our reservation. I love where they seated us (in the corner away from the bar and other tables). I don't think I'd want to sit anywhere else when we go back! Waiter was immediately on it with explaining specials and checked in with us frequently/filled waters. He recommended a Pinot noir based on what I told him I liked and I really enjoyed it. I also showed him a picture from Yelp of what I wanted for dinner and he told me how it would be a little different. I chose that dish and I wasn't disappointed. We literally scraped our plates clean. This was our first night out alone I a long time and I'm so happy we had such a great ambiance and dinner. Husband was confused with his dish (he thought the pesto was going to have pieces of zucchini and squash) instead it was puréed into the sauce with pieces of spinach. He still enjoyed it and said it felt lighter and healthier (not too oily). He also wished for more bread. Thanks for taking care of us Coasties! We will be back especially for that steak (cooked perfectly)!

I had the linguine with vodka sauce and added blackened chicken. The chicken was extremely dry and I was unable to finish it. The serving size of pasta I also found to be small especially for quite a high price point. The price point of the entire menu I think is also much too high for what you are getting. The edamame gyoza were only 4 in one dish and we also shared the hummus board which was very small for an expensive price. I think they should definitely be re-evaluating how their menu is priced for their portions and the meals themselves.

Old Forester Bourbon, Orange & Apple Bitters, Bacon Maple Cube, Apple Smoke. Sweet but got better as the bacon ice cube melted. Came with a ghost sort too. For food we grabbed the chips. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with its outdoor area and grand pillared entrance. We were warmly greeted by the host and seated immediately. The space is much larger that it appears from the outside, and the tables are spread out enough to keep conversations private-almost too spread out, as they could easily fit another table or two in each room. Our server was warm, friendly and extreamely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us plenty of time to decide and offered a few helpful recommendations. The guys ordered filet mignon, I chose the market fish special (grouper) and my friend ordered the salmon. Three of us started with the Caesar salad and the heirloom tomato salad, while another friend opted for the rabbit agnolotti appetizer. While he enjoyed it he said there wasn't enough rabbit. The salads were spot on. Our server had a perfect sense of timing-he appeared right when we needed him, and every course was delivered with ideal spacing. We never felt rushed, and the whole evening felt calm and elegant. There is also an incredible wine room - floor-to-ceiling bottles, row after row. The cocktail list was just okay, I wish there were more options. I started with a cocktail but switched to a Bordeaux, which paired nicely with my meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. The filets come a la crate, so we added whipped mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The potatoes were silky smooth and absolutely wonderful. My husband declared the filet one of the best he's ever had. Even at just seven ounces, it was surprisingly filling. The price tag was hefty, but in his opinion, worth every single penny. For dessert, my husband ordered vanilla and cinnamon ice cream and our friends had a slice of flourless chocolate torte. I had a few bites of the ice cream and it was silky and smooth. It was definitely one of the most expensive meals we've had lately, but between the food, service and atmosphere, it was worth it. Beautiful restaurant, and I'd absolutely come back for another relaxing night out.
