The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. Why have I not been here before?? First off this place is adorable. The spot is cute and clean. For a smaller place it had a lot of seating, but coming around noon on a Monday it was completely packed. There were cute ghosts everywhere and spiderwebs too. The service was really good! There were two kind baristas taking care of me and my friends and they were super friendly. They explained the drink menu and after we ordered I got my drink within 5-7 minutes, which was pretty impressive because of how many people were in the shop. For food it was hard to pick because everything looked so good, but I ended up settling on a burrito. Burrito 4/5 Definitely a bang for your buck. This burrito is packed with so much food. Bacon, eggs, avocado, cheese with hash brown on the inside served with a sour cream side. I ended up eating the entire thing because it was so good, but I would have also been full just by eating half. Salmon toast 4/5 The combo of the salmon with the dill, cucumber and the capers were amazing. The bread it was on was huge and the salad was a nice touch! I do with the bread was a little more toasted, but overall delightful. Cookies and cream latte 5/5 Their Halloween special is a double espresso with mocha and whole milk, topped with mocha cold foam and Oreos + a gummy worm. Very cute! The espresso and house made mocha was delish! At first I wasn't a huge fan because it was a bit bitter, but once I stored everything together the drink was gone in minutes. Was so excited to finally try Sugar Baby! I ended up getting the Avo Smash and the The Ice Ice Baby drink. Although the Avo Smash was small compared to my friend's Breakkie Bowl, it was actually really good. I liked the crunch of seeds on top (added texture) and the other ingredients were harmonious with the avocado and soft bread. The Ice Ice Baby was caramel forward (which I enjoyed cuz I'm a sweet tooth) and the cream on top was soft and sweet. I'd like to go again to try more menu items! read more

My first impression of Sugar Baby was - parking is rough, as it's in a strip mall off a main road. It gets very busy on the weekends! Finding a place to sit can be a challenge. The place was young hip and vibrant and we really enjoyed it. The space is a bright organic modern decor with crisp white walls, light woods, & greenery. You walk in, place your order at the front, find a seat and they bring your drinks & food to your table. The food was simply amazing. We both had the Breakkie Bowl and it was just so good. Everything was super fresh perfectly seasoned just spot on. The salted caramel lattes were delicious as were the iced Strawberry Matcha lattes we got to go. I have to avoid dairy and other inflammatory ingredients and the Breakkie Bowl was an excellent choice. I had a few questions about ingredients and nutrition, and if one of the sweet friendly young staff didn't know the answer she went straight to the kitchen and found out. They were happy to accommodate my request for half the strawberry syrup and to hold the heavy cream foam on the matcha latte (and it was still delicious!). First time at Suagr Baby and I really enjoyed it. I went on a Saturday morning and it was really crowded but it is a small space. Loved the decor and vibe. Their parking is a little bit of a struggle since it is pull in parking off a high way or you have to find parking in the back! Then I took the liberty of ordering chicken chipotle melt. My friend ordered the BLT and orange matcha! The wait was minutes for the drinks and then the food came shortly after. My friend and I were sure to try each other's foods and rate them! Our least favorite was the matcha, and the best was the BLT. The BLT had great flavor and was the perfect size. My friend did say if they got it again they would get the sauce on the side to dip it into because it was very messy! The coffee was pretty average or a typical Carmel latte from any coffee shop. Then the Chicken melt was good, but nothing about it made it standout beyond other sandwiches; however, I would get it again no questions asked! Overall this is such a cute spot! Sugar Baby is one of my daughter's favorite breakfast places. It was also very popular on the Sunday morning that we visited, with a line out the door. Parking in the back is always easiest. We ordered at the counter and then were lucky to grab a seat as someone was leaving their table. Our food and coffee was delivered to our table. We both ordered the Breakfast Plate with sweet potatoes. It is such a cute and yummy Girl Breakfast with lots of variety. As for coffee, I ordered the Ice Ice Baby and my daughter ordered the Iced Blueberry Patch Latte which was on the Spring Special Menu. Everything was super delicious as always. THIS is the best cafe in the St Pete area. Yes, I know it's located in Seminole but it's close enough. I always see the same coffee shops posted on social media and I'm always disappointed. Sugar Baby never disappoints. My original order was the Ice ice baby iced coffee and the snooze burrito 10/10. The menu changes throughout the year so you might not have access to the same items but I have never ordered a bad dish. Friendly staff. Interior is aesthetically pleasing. Parking is really annoying and sometimes makes me think twice about going. It's easier to park in the back or on either side of the plaza. read more

I ordered a matcha pistachio latte and a lemon blueberry loaf. I split a breakie bowl with my friend. Food wise, you first notice a great menu at reasonable prices. However, execution sadly feel short - and very, very much so. Bacon didn't taste great (very low quality); cheese in my burrito wasn't bold (not great cheddar); salsa tasted... cheap (so sorry - being honest!). Not sure we'd ever come back for the food... We paid almost twice as much $$ at Sugar Baby for similar items we would get at The Blend Coffee shop on Central Ave., but for 50% lower quality ingredients. HOWEVER! This spot has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. They just seriously need to review their ingredients and/or use different suppliers; as it stands right now, the breakfast items we tried are average to below average. The food not only looked delicious, but tasted delicious as well, including the salad/healthy options. The little flowers on our plates were a nice touch, and the decor was super cute. My mother-in-law was impressed I found the place, which made the whole experience even better ;).
