Very vibey place with games, even a dog bed and ample seating. Our drinks were delicious as well! Great place to get your morning cup.

KAVA 50/50

It is a gorgeous location with a very chill atmosphere in the heart of St Pete Arts District. They allow pets inside and outside as long as they are well behaved which came as a huge advantage for us since we were traveling with our puppy. I also tried the KAVA roots after many years and it was very good, I think is a very curious thing to have in the menu and I encourage anyone to try it, the coffees had more milk than actual coffee but the food was well prepared and the fruits in the acai bowl were fresh even though a bit frozen in the middle. The total was around $30 which I think is a bit overpriced but I didn't mind, the staff was friendly and the location is worth the extra bucks,

Cute new roastery/coffee shop in Seminole! My husband and I came in on a Sunday morning. We love the decor inside and there are lots of comfy seating areas. I ordered the iced mocha with oat milk and my husband ordered the cole brew. They were both very tasty! They also have a bunch of pastries/baked goods available, as well as teas and kava. This is a great addition to the Seminole area and close to home, so we'll definitely return!

Super cool place and love the interior! They have a chill atmosphere, many people like to hang out with their computer and coffee or kava and just enjoy their time. Everyone I have met working there has been super kind and informative. I had a great latte with almond milk and sugar free vanilla flavoring & was not disappointed. 10/10 would recommend

What a delight to find this place. I got a mocha, cinnamon roll, and piece of cheesecake. All of these items made in house with love by Gigi, she is an amazing baker!!! If you find yourself in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try! You won't be disappointed :)

Wowza! Another great recommendation by my local bestie…read more Sugar Baby was the best coffee shop we visited during our short stay in St. Pete Beach. Parking is limited, but we lucked out and found a spot right up front. We were greeted upon entering. The space is bright with ample seating. The staff was friendly and patiently answered all of our questions while we deliberated over our food and drink options. We ordered the following: Sweet and salty Americano Breakkie bowl Beach burrito I'm a sucker for homemade syrups, so I was immediately impressed. My iced sweet and salty was smooth and perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Everything on the food menu sounded appetizing which made it tough to decide. I wanted to try do many items, but we loved our breakkie bowl and beach burrito. I liked the burrito slightly more. It was loaded with the good stuff. I will definitely be looking for a Sugar Baby next time I'm in the Tampa area!

We're all foodies from NYC, so they'll appreciate this place. All the tables were full at 1pm lunchtime. Now I know why! It's bright and airy, good A/C, lots of tables and the staff was so helpful in helping me choose what to get on this first visit. Spot on! Well done, Sugar Baby.

Avoid. Not as Advertised. No Florida Vibe can overcome this expensive inauthentic experience…read more This seat yourself establishment may have good tunes, but it's not as advertised. Pricey, poor service, slow, and my $14 avocado toast? Just spread, no fresh avocado on it whatsoever. Pathetic. $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids to have breakfast. I feel sick just thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is just a money making racquet. Nothing more. #touristtrap

Cozy little place with good hospitality…read more We wanted to grab some breakfast before heading back home and stopped into this little location before we left. When we got there, it was a seat yourself situation and after about five minutes or so a server came over and took our drink order and asked if we had any questions. The menu is a combo with both breakfast and brunch style options. They do close around 3 PM so they very much are catering to the morning/early afternoon audience. I wanted to try the chicken salad sandwich, but unfortunately, they were out of it so I chose the avocado toast as my backup. The bread was really soft and really delicious and the arugula with the cherry tomatoes and balsamic was really well balanced. The bread is Cuban bread so you definitely get that little crunch on it as well. My husband got the French toast again, made with Cuban bread, but he said it was really good. It wasn't too dense. The bacon was good, but it is tiny as he's used to eating thick cut bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Parking is a little tight because it's located behind the location and is shared with the condos that are above the business so be prepared for that.

Southie gets points for creativity! My Maple Syrup Dirty Chai was enjoyable, although a little too sweet for my taste. Matt's Miso Cold Brew was surprisingly good! The staff was absolutely lovely, remaining friendly and welcoming despite being completely slammed. Now, about those breakfast burritos... At $13.95 each, I expected something a little more substantial. I'm not asking for a burrito the size of my forearm, but I'd like to finish breakfast feeling like I've actually eaten! To make matters worse, they brought me the wrong one. Mistakes happen, especially when you're overwhelmed, and I can extend some grace. But had Matt's coffee and burrito not been complimentary through the Yelp event, our breakfast for two would have approached $50. That's a pretty steep price for two coffees and two petite burritos! The atmosphere is cute, although nothing particularly memorable. Southie has creative coffee options and genuinely wonderful employees, but the overall value missed the mark for me. Would I return? Perhaps for another interesting coffee creation, but probably not for breakfast. The sweetest part of our visit was definitely the staff, they are awesome!

Those old spice commercials from the 2010's about who, what, where, why and how ("on the back of a horse on the beach") is the quintessential idea behind what you're tasting here. Unforgettable experience, unique taste, distinct flavors, and drinking it black will put hair on my chest from the euphoria of sipping on it. One last thing, on a separate note, the hours and lack of communication hurt this business deeply. I was only able to get a bag of coffee as I happened upon someone inside working. For a "micro roastery" the coffee speaks for itself, I only wish the business spoke as much as their coffee.
