I didn't get to try any food but a small road trip was the perfect time to try a new coffee shop. The shop was right off the corner with easy parking on the side. Inside was welcoming and open and no wait to order. The barista mentioned house made syrup so I had to try the vanilla sage. I enjoyed my drink and loved the flavor. read more

I was so excited with all the nostalgic memories of things on the wall that I forgot to even take photos of the food. With that said this is such a cute coffee bar. The staff is friendly, the coffee and food was fantastic. I got the burrito and a banyan cold brew which has a shot of espresso. They also roast coffee and I had to get a bag to bring home with me. They aren't local to me but I now have a pin stop whenever I'm in area. Off the main drive but worth the stop. read more

In Palmetto for work and wanted to try a local coffee shop! This is such a cute spot - Barista was so sweet and the shop is adorable inside with plants and tchotchkes and a bunch of Randy Savage figures (?) it was a vibe! I got a Cloud Coffee (white chocolate + coconut) and a breakfast bagel! Both so good and they came out quickly. I only wish they'd had a low fat milk option as that's my usual go to :) Will definitely be back if I'm in the area! read more

I visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed the environment. It's small but very nice inside, with a fun, quirky vibe. I ordered the iced latte with lavender and honey. I can be picky about lavender in my coffee, and I liked this one a lot. Not too sweet, and not too overpowering. The girls behind the counter were super friendly too. There aren't a ton of food options, but they had some pastries and a couple things on the menu. read more

I love love LOVE banyan coffee! It's simply amazing. I get the Ethiopian blend light roast whole bean and it is the best coffee. They also have drinks there and little treats. The service is good and it's a cute little shop. read more

We finally made it ! Been recommended to us a few times and definitely happy we got to try it . The coffee was absolutely delicious, we tried the honey badger . Very cute little patio and cute inside. There are big windows to the coffee roasters. They offer medium and dark roast and different food items. The young lady at the Register was very sweet and helpful. We left with some really nice Banyan stickers too. Will be back for sure . read more

Banyan is one of my favorite coffee shops in Manatee County. One of the most unique posts about it is the glass windows so you can see into their roastery as you sip their strong coffee. Love this place! Super chilly and friendly atmosphere with amazing coffee! I used to go to Tenth St until I bought a water bottle that came w an advertisement on it for some church. Idk why they want to alienate people but I feel like banyan is accepting and cool. The barrel aged coffee taste like it's got whiskey in it, it's a cool twist & really delicious!! the scone was sooo good yummy and only $3!! The barista working (blonde hair w cool hat) was super friendly and gave me some great recommendations on where to paddleboard. All around great place and super happy to support them while I'm in town for the month. read more

I purchased a bag of Ethiopian coffee beans after reading on Banyan's website that their Ethiopian coffee comes from the Yirgacheffe region which is arguably the finest coffee on Earth. It was extremely disappointing to open the bag and see coffee beans that appear not to have been sorted and graded. Varying size and color. These beans are sold at a premium price but are not premium coffee beans. read more

Stopped in here on our way out of town. We both tried, with recommendation, Honey Badger. Neither of us like sweet lattes but both loved the flavor of the drink and will be back to try more. We also tasted bourbon barrel aged coffee and then actually bought some beans to take home to Texas. We will be back with the family in a couple of weeks and will be frequent customers!
