Everyone knows their role, orders are flying out, and the energy is fun without feeling chaotic. I went with a green kale smoothie and a hot café con leche. The smoothie was probably the best one I've had in years tons of flavor, perfectly blended, and not that overpowering "I'm drinking straight kale" taste. Just smooth, fresh, and balanced. My go-to coffee order is a hot café con leche, and this one hit the spot. Rich, smooth, and exactly what I was hoping for. I'll definitely be coming back for more. One thing I really liked is the setup. After you get your coffee, you can walk around to the back and hang out. The front entrance of the bar is gated off, which keeps things quieter and more relaxed. It's a great little escape from the busier street vibe. Service was good and made the staff was nice and made our drinks pretty fast. I ordered their Bloody Mary. And it was amazing!!! A Bloody Mary has to be made good for me to drink it and I wanted another one but that would have been bad because I am a light weight. We sat outside and enjoyed our drinks and it was amazing!!! This was a regular stop for us each week while we were vacationing on Siesta Key. It's right in Siesta Village by several shops and adjacent to a full restaurant/bar. This has many different coffees, flavored, etc which is what was we came for. Didn't take photo of the coffee since the delight is not the white paper cup with the label of your order and a lid, but the coffee smell is incredible and the flavor delicious. Other bonus is the different option for milk if you have dairy allergy. The ambiance is what we enjoyed. Completely relaxing, not hurried. Cool interior design. Couch in the center, tables as well and counter-style along the front wall and also outside too. You can hang out which it looked like many did as it has internet The employees are nice, though I didn't interact them much since hubby usually ordered as I used the restroom and found a spot. It's not letting me upload the photos of the place and cool interior. The first time here, I ordered an empanada hoping for a light brunch. I assumed it was going to be baked but when I received it, it was heated but much have been microwave and sadly not at all what I have had in the past. Paid ~ 30 dollars ( with tip) for these two bowls. The ocean blue was filled about only a 1/3 of the way and was all liquid then the rest was all granola (the picture is deceiving). When you walk in the door you feel almost like you went back in time to college in the 90's with the quilted covered sofa and lights stung up throughout the coffee shop. While on vacation I came here everyday to get a cup of regular coffee which was excellent. They also had gourmet coffees and teas available. The staff was super cool and friendly each visit. If you want just a simple pour of coffee, you have to wait in line with all the people ordering fancy coffee, food, asking questions,etc. then have to wait again until your coffee comes in line after all those orders. It would be way more efficient to have a plan for people who just want a cup of coffee: Self serve with a pay box. The cashier pours the coffee when ordered. This is a super cool coffee shop, they really have all the vibes here, and it's even better because it's located in Siesta Key, and a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. The empanada we got was okay- it wasn't the best but definitely not the worst. The crust was a little dry and it just tasted like it had sat out for a while. Great Vibes - Terrible Service. I'm from out of town so I know I shouldn't be treated as I'm sure many of the locals are that come in regularly. That's awesome for them to have this great spot in their community. I've visited this establishment numerous times on trips to Siesta Key and they always have that snotty attitude that you don't belong. What do you expect when operating a business in a tourist destination? If you're going to do such a thing - embrace it!! Talk to your out of towners, invite them back, create conversation and memories! Good offerings are minimal it seems, it sure, the menu isn't quite clear about everything they have, you have to look in multiple spots to see all that's offered; menu boards, signs, handwritten signs, display case, laminated cards. Confusing. Coffee isn't too bad but nothing special. Also seems as if they steam large pitchers of milk for beverages as the milk in my drink tastes very flat without that fresh creamy sweetness of fresh milk. Sometimes the espresso is decent, sometimes it terrible. Overall it's a great location and space for morning coffee with inside and outside seating but ultimately they fall short of their potential. read more
