You'll instantly feel at peace as you walked through manicured garden gate and enter a gorgeous and expansive shaded garden which is perfect for a gossip sesh with a friend. Once inside, you can check out all of their curated cookbooks, mugs, plates, and other home decor that will remind you of your beach vacation. The boy and I grabbed a cold brew and iced coffee and it was the perfect afternoon pick me up. They use pebble ice which made our drink all the more enjoyable. Baristas were super friendly as well. This is such a cute coffee shop! It can be difficult to get to depending what time you go - only because traffic getting on to the island can get backed up quite easily. However, once you get there, it does not disappoint. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself hanging out during a work day with my laptop; while there is limited indoor seating, there is a fantastic outdoor space and a cute boutique inside. My sister was visiting and we decided it would be worth the 50 min drive to get to this place and check it out. It was well worth it!! Not your average coffee spot. For me, the best part was the outside space. It's massive, cozy, and unique. With multiple tables and seatings areas, there is something for everyone and every sized group. We were happy with our coffee drinks also. My chai tea was definitely different compared to others I've had, so that was neat. And we didn't need food but their short & sweet menu sounded super good! I know this Yelp page isn't for their mercantile but since it's part of the coffee space I will comment here. LOVED it (But not cheap...) There was so much to look at and so many unique items. We went for breakfast and coffee on a Tuesday morning. The online menu had quite a few breakfast options but they were all out of food, only cookies were available for our breakfast. This place literally just opened and it's a must-go!!! It's part of the Fox Mercantile: there is an adorable outside patio area that is huge, so much green foliage with a cute yellow food truck outside. Inside there is cutesy stuff you can buy and shop around, and then also the coffee shop. Prices were reasonable, my iced latte was $5.50. They do also sell some food, I also bought a breakfast burrito that was delicious! All of the staff was super friendly and nice. Can we also talk about location?? This is super close to the beach, all you have to do is go across the bridge and you'll be there! I will definitely be adding this to my list to go to before the beach. read more

We are vacationing on Anna Maria Island this week and always enjoy looking for the best coffee shop around, wherever we go. I think we found our A.M.I. choice here. Great coffee (one oat milk latte, one oat milk flat white). Cool vibe inside and at the large outdoor area. They were busy on a rainy cloudy afternoon, so it was a bit of a wait, but well-staffed and working hard. We tried the one dedicated coffee shop on A.M.I. (Cool Beans A.M.I.), and Foxi is definitely better. It's just over the bridge coming from A.M.I., on the north side of Cortez Road. If you appreciate good third-wave/specialty coffee, this is a good place to visit. read more

it was a rainy day today and we stumbled upon Foxi. I had the best vanilla latte and they made it the perfect amount of "not too sweet"! This place had the cutest ambiance and we wanted to hang out longer. When we asked them if they had a deck of cards, they gave us a brand new pack from their store in hopes of having more games available for guests. Firstly, I'd like to say that the Fox Mercantile is a beautiful business, and a very nice area. There's lots of greenery and plenty of places to sit down and relax after you have done your shopping and perhaps even have gotten a drink. To say that the decor is beautiful is an understatement. However, I noticed the staff was extremely rude. I had ordered a "For fox-shake" drink, and it took 15-20 minutes to get one simple drink. The light haired women at the front working as the cashier was unfriendly, and not as all as she appeared on social media. The bartenders were also quite rude as well. We were very disappointed with the service, but the nice scenery somewhat made up for it. We will be visiting again. read more

So I absolutely love this coffee shop they have great coffee and I live so close by so I love walking there. And the staff is so very friendly. But today I wanted to bring my dog and I asked if he could be in the (very large) outdoor area which you don't even have to go through inside to get to it. He is very trained and friendly. But they said he was not allowed so after walking almost a mile to get there with my boyfriend and my dog they had to wait outside the gate and sit on a rock waiting for me to get the drinks. While all the people on the inside fence were like "awe pupppyy" and he just cried and was upset for 20 minutes until I got back finally after waiting in a long line. I appreciate the good service and great coffee but it was very upsetting for us as we couldn't sit and enjoy our coffee we had to walk straight back home.
