They didn't have rocky road so there was a pretty interesting conversation on what's the closest ... They had a lot of candy which I didn't really skim through since I was super focused on the ice cream flavors. They had 3 different types of cones cake, sugar and waffle. The staff were really friendly. The Ferris Wheel structure part of the window display is super cool. The ice cream is real smooth and creamy. Boy, this place used to be great. Expensive, but great. Wonderful selection, very allergy conscious, terrific fudge they say is homemade. Loved it until recently, when they started serving smaller and smaller portions and charging higher prices. I have no problem with raising prices if the quality and quantity are good. I do have a problem with raising prices when quantity is lowered, and when the managers are rude. We were in there and two elderly women were buying ice cream. A heavy set man seemed to be managing the place. The women ordered ice creams and we stood next to them in line. One of them, very politely, told the person at the counter that they didn't get as much ice cream as they used to, and she felt shorted. The manager came up and kind of argued with her - very loudly. She answered that their ice cream was great but super expensive, the portions were smaller, and there was another place on the north end of town that charged a lot less and gave a lot more. Again, she told him nicely that the portions used to be bigger. He got even louder and told her he would buy their ice cream for them, but after that, never set foot in his store again! That pretty much did it for me. We've been regulars for a long time, and nowadays we've watched even the long time staff short the size. They don't pack it down, 3 scoops, which are really expensive, are the equivalent of the old two scoops. I don't want to patronize a place that treats a complaint like that. When somebody complains politely, you try to make it right. It's a service business. Especially an older person who might be on a very fixed income, and this is their big treat, and suddenly it's half what they expected. Imagine telling somebody whose being polite to never go into your store again! Their ice cream might be the best available around here, but at SIX dollars a scoop, when you only get 2/3 or half a real scoop, it's just not worth it. Especially not with that attitude. read more

They have tons of variety of ice creams, they have fudge, the people working are very friendly, and this ice cream shop is colorful and eye catching. The ice cream shop has unique flavor. Very friendly service with a good selection of flavors (no samples). My kids got something on this visit and they gave a free tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream for our almost two year old. I was very excited to try this location because my family had been raving about their ice cream. We went an hour before closing and the staff was all teenagers. I don't have anything against young workers but they acted extremely immature. They were goofing around while making our shakes and laughing the entire time. Specifically two boys, one brunette with curly hair and a fair skinned blonde They even overflowed our cups and the girl at the cashier just said "oh put it in a large" while laughing.. We ended up having to go back to return one of the shakes due to how bad it tasted. What a great little shop! We stopped in for some ice cream and couldn't believe all the good stuff they had. We ended up grabbing some fudge to bring home as well. From the second we walked in, the young staff was so friendly and helpful! I went with one of their weekly specials, the large Thin Mint Milkshake and it was delicious. I love how they're taken care of their staff by putting screens up for covid and they want people to mask up when they're in there and all the staff are masked as well. they have very good covid-19 protocols. having said that the quality of their product is outstanding the owner takes pride in making up some special edition ice cream all the time plus all your old favorites will be there. There's also a good collection of candy and fudge, It's great for kids and families and adults of a certain age they have all kinds of sizes of ice cream and summer and cups and it just a very good experience. Overall: A gem of a place with great flavored, creamy ice creams with allot of flavors including vegan ice cream (no I don't eat that type but wanted those who need to know:)). They also had fudge. Gal who serviced us last night (Sept 13) was awesome. Service: 5 stars- Young gal behind counter greeted us upon entry and was friendly with a more bubbly personality. Was very helpful in assisting us first timers. I asked what they had with peanut butter, she went through each flavor and gave me her personal reasons she like which ones over the other. This helped me select and she was spot on!!! Service from greeting to exit was spot on for customer service. Clone her if u can (lol). Food: 5 stars- Ice cream with was tasty, fresh and appeared to have higher butter fat content allowing for a richer, smoother flavor. I couldn't tell you what flavors I got (receipt didn't show it) but as you guessed, PB was an important ingredient and got a scoop of each for two scoops total of ones she highly recommended. My wife got something with cheery and PB scoops also. We can say if our tongues were long enough, no waste- the bowls would have been spotless.
