OK, full disclosure. We were given a $25 gift card from the place we were staying because they needed us to vacate our unit for a short period of time. That said. Oh my goodness! Awesome dinner here (after having been shut out last night because of a huge party that took up the entire place) But well worth the wait. While the emphasis here is not necessarily on "fine dining", our meals spoke otherwise! I got the duck, DH got the filet - medium rare. The sides were mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus. Everything was excellent! Decided to indulge in dessert and went with the molten chocolate cake. Best we've ever had, and we've had a few! Our waiter, Joe, was awesome! He was raised here, and is happy to be settled here. Love that about some of these people, that not everyone is a transplant! He went above and beyond. Wish we could take him home with us. read more

This place definitely would have been a five star, BUT...the wait on the food was not great. The food was delicious! Drinks were great and the waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was not busy, and the atmosphere was very nice. My husband got a breakfast sandwich which he loved and I ordered the "not egg" burrito with the option of egg. The burrito was amazing! But apparently they had to go buy the egg patties or weren't prepared for customers asking for them. Because of this, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. The trendy vibe of this Coffee Shop and Pour House is a nice change to the usual island decor. The food is excellent and they now have 2 Sushi Chefs as well! Friday night is sushi night. I think they will have sushi on other days according to demand. And they have a very nice wine menu. The breakfast menu has items that you don't get in the normal breakfast places on the island. Avocado toast etc. plus homemade muffins and pastries. The service was perfect! Highly recommend checking this out if you are in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. read more

We arrived at Anna Maria Island early in the morning to see the turtles. After a long day of helping the turtles, we were hungry, so we decided to have breakfast at Fifty Three Fifty. I'm glad we chose this place because I ordered the 86M Sandwich, which turned out to be one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. The egg was beautifully thick, and the spicy pepper and bacon jam were perfection. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent. Everyone was very sweet and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax after our morning activities. I will definitely be returning on our next visit to the island. read more

Been coming here since they opened. Come here almost everyday for lunch and the service has steadily declined. Got a stale cookie the other day, when I went back the next day and let them know so threw out the remaining cookies but didn't so much as apologize. Today I ordered a scone and paid, while waiting for my coffee the waiter sold the scones to someone dining in so they were gone by the time my coffee was ready. Again, not even acknowledgement of the situation. There's better coffee places on the island. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!! We walked in the café, and there were only two other customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and they had two people behind the bar working. The girl spent her time looking for a bottle of wine. The guy behind the bar spent his time ordering something from a sales person. Neither one of them acknowledged us, offered to help us, or approached us in anyway! I will never enter this establishment again. We were there for about five minutes when the guy behind the bar stood on the counter to get a bottle of wine with his shoes on. And then never wiped off the counter when he got down. What more can I say! If I could rate this café as a zero I would, but unfortunately, I have to give it at least one star. read more

I have been dying for this spot to open! My partner and I visited as soon as we saw the Open sign officially on and were warmly welcomed into a beautiful and quiet space this island has needed for years. To start, the food is spectacular. I cannot recommend the Burrata and Wasabi Caesar enough. We also ordered the Funghi Flatbread (forgot the pic whoops!) that was fantastic as well. We were stuffed! It is so so nice to have real coffee in Holmes Beach again. The americano and espresso we had were wonderful and I was pleased to hear they'll be offering coffee from 7am until they close in the evening. Breakfast will be offered soon and I can't wait to come back for it. The space is immaculate and well decorated. The folks working were so friendly and wonderful to chat to during our lunch. Send everyone you know to this business. Prices are great, beer selection is choice, and I can see them blowing up the plaza here easily once word gets out. Run, don't walk! read more

I stopped by Fifty Three Fifty yesterday for a coffee with some friends. The employee recommended I try an Iced Caramel Cinnamon Latte. It was amazing! My friend and I also enjoyed a Bacon Chicken Rach Wrap that we split. They also have a bar inside that serves wine and other drinks. The decor is very cute and sophisticated. The cafe has a very chill vibe and we spent awhile sitting inside talking. In addition, the employees were very friendly and welcoming. Coffee shop located on Holmes beach, great tasting coffee however be prepared to spend over $8 for a small latte' and they are extremely slow. The two girls working seem always out of it and doesn't have a flow of one running register and one making coffee. The kitchen is what you see and they can make pretty good food without a stove ect. However the coffee I came here a few times during our stay and the coffee was never consistent in my lattes. Sometimes the beans tasted burnt. I think if they had a better flow and friendly staff it would be a better place. Always room for improvements. read more

We were recommended to try the food at Fifty Three Fifty Pourhouse my some locals. If you come here in the morning the coffee is PHENOMENAL. The best on the island. We also came for dinner. Sit at the bar and you will see them making your food right in front of you. Very much a farm to table feel. So many menu options and everyone in our group loved our food. Cute place with a relaxing environment to hang out for a while. I got a peppermint latte and was very happy. They have many wine options and were very helpful with giving you options you might like based on the profile you are looking for. The rose from Italy was wonderful. We spent some time here before we could get into our rental condo when we first got here and it's a perfect place to wait. My friends and I visited this cafe for a quick snack and coffees. First impressions walking in was that it was very well decorated and had a nice vibe. The woman who took my order was also very friendly and nice. I got a lavender iced latte and it was amazing, my friend also got a matcha which was very good and did not taste like grass. I also split the chicken bacon wrap with my friend and it was very flavorful and good! It also came with chips that tasted good. We've been on the island a week and spent triple for food that was not nearly this fresh and creatively prepared. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. There isn't outdoor seating and you have no water views- but if your looking for fresh, healthy real food - be sure to stop here. The wine and beer selection was nice as well. We ordered tuna poke salad, Wasabi Caesar salad with blackened salmon, Burrata and mushroom flatbread. Each dish was five star delicious.
