This is a review for my two kids who just loved Meaney's Mini Donuts! We had to go twice while staying the week in Siesta Ket as it was just a two minute walk from the home we were staying in. The donuts are made fresh to order with at least 6 rotating flavors- some regular ones cinnamon, powdered sugar and glazed always on the menu. My kids tried a few flavors and the favorites were French toast (no photo sorry) and the chocolate frosted. Best eaten right away when fresh too! There seemed to always be a line outside this place but the guy making it all by himself moves quickly and it's quite impressive actually! They also have a variety of coffees, lemonade, and do donut ice cream sundaes too! This is a loved place of the Siesta Keys and now that we have tried it, we totally get it! These donut holes are made fresh and there are a number of topping options to choose from (I was so eager to order that I forgot to take menu pics). I ordered 6 powdered sugar donut holes. What they gave me was a bag of 6 holes bathing in powdered sugar. It may sound like to much, but once you pick your donut up, you're guaranteed to have the perfect amount of coating. The holes are fluffy and soft and absolutely spot on. The coffee was great too, but only came in one size. I wish they served larger sizes. The ice takes up too much space and I went through my coffee within 10 min. No worries though - I will definitely still be coming back. Like I said- tomorrow. Can't wait! read more

We eagerly tried this spot on our Siesta Key vacation. The donuts are a tad smaller than golf balls, and we ordered 19 plain sugar donuts at $6 and 6 Bavarian creme donuts at $5. The guy tossed the sugar donuts in a small paper bag, the creme ones in a styrofoam container, and then, chaos - they dumped everything in a single bag. Upon opening, it was a warm, gooey mess. Half of them were already cooked up and they just had to put the cinnamon sugar on them. They had to make more deep fried fresh donuts and it was only a 5 minute wait. These donuts are amazing! What a cute little spot in a prime location! While on a recent vacation in Siesta Key, my boyfriend fell victim to the curiosity of the constant line and the warm sugary smells from this place. One walks by here every day thinking, damn, I've got to try this place before I leave. And boy, does it work. My boyfriend fell victim on our third night here. He ordered the chocolate delight and finished all but one mini donut on his own! I was lucky enough to try one, and I can see how they are addicting: very small donuts held together by a skewer and topped with sweet goodness and sprinkles. They are warm, they are delightful, and they melt in your mouth. I'm not a huge sweets fan so the sauce was a tad too sweet and overpowering for me, but my boyfriend enjoyed them. Aside from the brilliant marketing and the great offerings, the staff here is also A+. While we ordered and waited on our donuts, the gentleman behind the counter struck up conversation with us, asked us if we'd been here before, and wished us well on the rest of our vacation.
