I was wanting to try this donut place for quite a while and so I'm glad I was finally able to stop in. It's based in south sarasota, has parking directly in front of the store and has some indoor and outdoor seating or you can take to go. They're known for their glazed donuts which are often served warm (depending on when they're made) but they also have other fancy donuts too. My favorite donut was the chocolate ganache. Donuts here are pretty big. Prices are a bit on the higher end (after all they're not really expensive to make) but I guess a trend is a trend! Services was very friendly, lots of people coming in and out, and overall a fun vibe.
The pictures simply don't do this place justice. I first had these donuts out of their truck at a festival and immediately fell in love! The donuts are somehow always soft and warm. They're also HUGE and totally worth the price! The workers inside were super nice and friendly. They have nice outdoor seating and a small bar top inside. Great for before or after the beach!
Hands down the best glazed donut I've ever had. These donuts are served hot and literally dunked in glaze right in front of you, which already sets the bar high. The donuts are massive and absolutely worth every penny. Light, airy, and truly melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The glaze is rich and creamy without being overly sweet, and when it's warm, it's next level. Service is great and genuinely friendly, which just adds to the experience. Simple, classic donuts done perfectly. Love the food truck vibes and it's the cutest truck.
Had a great time here, sat out side, little people watching, everything is definitely fresh, doughnuts are extra large but the star of the show!..get the pretzels, the dip the comes with it is very complimentary. Worth the hour trip from Tampa Drunkin Noodle: No liqs here but lattes are made with love
I can barely think of words to describe how amazing these donuts are. They are pillowy soft, just sweet enough, and truly are some of the best donuts I've ever had. I have not been to the brick and mortar store but stopping by their truck at the Strawberry Festival is a must do, no matter how long the line is. My only regret is that I didn't get more to take home!
The Peachey's glaze donuts is one of the best glazed donuts I have ever eaten. The chocolate glaze was also top notch. The bakery appears to be family owned and is such a nice environment clean and bright. The service was great and friendly staff. They are large donuts and one will fill you up. If you're looking for a fresh baked glaze try them out. Ours were still warm when we got home.
Peachey's Donuts now has a brand new brick and mortar location. I was lucky that I made it for their second Open Saturday because they close af 1pm and I was there at that time. They stayed open til just before 1:30pm. These soft airy donuts still do not disappoint. I bought three which is $12. One donut is $5. They also have half dozen and full dozen and pretzels and specials. They have a few bar stools inside and lots of outside seating bc they are in a corner location next to the dance school. Love these donuts and I definitely want to try their pretzel next time. The person next to me in line couldn't stop raving about it. Glad that I don't have to wait in line forever at the state fair for them. Which I didn't do this year. They are here year round.
Came to the grand opening for Peacheys known for their amazing made from scratch donuts! This is their first location and it's gorgeous!! The interior is so bright and beautiful make you feel welcomed especially with the open kitchen to see all the magic be made. They also have coffee. The donuts and pretzels are delicious so light and airy I will definitely be back!
This place is the absolute G.O.A.T.!!! I first had Peachey's at the Florida state fair years ago and have been craving their donuts and pretzels ever since. Since I live down in Miami it was hard to drive up for the fair just for the food. But now that they have a brick and mortar place, my wife and I can make the 4 hour drive whenever we get the craving. Yes, 4 hours. They're worth the drive. We will be back!!!
I've been enjoying these donuts for at least 15 years--starting at small craft shows, then their food truck, and now their stand at the county fair! We've even made a trip to their brick-and-mortar shop in Sarasota. These are, without a doubt, the best donuts in the history of ever. They're made fresh--and by that I mean right in front of you. They occasionally offer special flavors, like the coconut cream pie donut, which is pure heaven and hands down my all-time favorite. They also make homemade pretzels that are just as delicious. The service is always fast and friendly. Donuts are $5 each or $12 for three, and while that might seem a bit pricey, they are absolutely worth every penny. No other donuts even come close. Peachey's for the win!
There's plenty parking out front. The place is large and the staff super nice. I came for a quick to go order and it was quick. We didn't have to wait too long after ordering to get our stuff. They close early afternoon or until sold out so best to come early cause once they run out of stuff they don't remake. SNEAKERS DOODLE DONUT- perfect dough so sweet and airy. SOFT PRETZEL- one of the best pretzels I have ever had. And the size! It is a very large pretzel. I am very happy with everything about this quick to go stop here. The place smells amazing the ambiance is nice and clean and the experience was great. I will definitely come back for more. read more

These donuts literally melt in your mouth. Warm, soft, perfectly sweet, and so light they almost disappear the second you take a bite. I honestly said, "I think I died and went to heaven!" after the first one. There's something special about the way they make them -- fresh, simple, and unbelievably delicious. If you ever get the chance to try a donut from Peachey's, do it... but fair warning: one will never be enough! Hands down some of the best donuts I've ever had. read more

I heard this place has the best donuts so I wanted to see for myself. Peacheys is centrally located in a shopping plaza with ample parking. The place has a clean vibe on the inside I was greeted when I walked in, there wasn't a line so I walked right up to the register. I ordered the box of 6 donuts for $22. These are some big donuts I guess 12 would require 2 boxes . They are really good, they remind me of a home town favorite in Georgia. These are going to be good to snack on the remainder of my trip . read more

Just wow! The hot glaze donuts literally melt in your mouth! The cinnamon and sugar donut tasted like fried dough, straight from the fair! Peachey's Baking is such a unique spot to grab a donut, coffee, or delicious soft pretzel. This spot has a few seating options inside, as well as outdoor seating available. We went on a Saturday morning and enjoyed a chocolate donut and pretzel outside. As the morning went on, it definitely got busier. There's a ton of parking near the building, making this spot super easy to get to. My sister enjoyed her iced vanilla latte and loved the cute little cup it was served in. The soft pretzel was our favorite thing we tried. It was served warm and had a buttery taste. The chocolate donut was also good and is definitely shareable. The inside is decorated so nicely and I love that they have an open kitchen where you can watch them glaze donuts. I recommend giving this spot a try if you are in the area! read more

Donuts are soooo fluffy and delicious! Extremely fresh and flavors were divine. Tried chocolate ganache and vanilla glaze. I think they change them every so often? Also had soft pretzels that looked incredibly yummy - will try next time! Check hours as they are limited. Casual spot with some seats inside at bar and outside patio tables. read more

Pure heavenly doughnuts here at Peachey's! I had the chance to visit for the first time and ordered a glazed doughnut latte along with their classic glazed doughnut. The doughnut was perfection: warm, pillowy-soft on the inside with just the right touch of crispiness on the outside. The staff working were very friendly. There are a few seating options inside and out. I usually never visit the same place twice if I am out of town because I love trying new spots, but I had to come back the next day.. unfortunately they were closed. I am definitely coming here again the next time I am in the area!!! read more
We discovered these guys at the fair and have followed them ever since! We're so happy they now have a brick and mortar location(even though it's a drive to Sarasota from Tampa). Wonderful homemade doughnuts that's make you want to keep going back for more love everything about them! read more

Friendly and quick service, best donut I ever had!! Small options as far as variety of donut flavors but I prefer freshness and high quality to crazy flavors any day. Also tried the glazed donut latte, they use the same glaze in the espresso that they use for their donuts, was the perfect combo and not overly sweet. read more

We decided to try out this place while on vacation and it did not disappoint. We had to wait in line for 45 minutes, but it was so worth it, and the time flew by! We ordered their glazed, blackberry glazed, snickerdoodle and vanilla glazed with sprinkles for 4th of July. We also ordered a pretzel. Everything was fresh and delicious. The amount of glaze was perfect, it was not layered on thick. The store inside is small and quaint, there is a small bar inside with stools, water while you wait. I can't wait to visit them during our family vacation next year. read more

Now that Peachey's is back in town I finally had a chance to indulge. The larger than life donut is like not heavy like a cake donut. Unfortunately they only had the glazed when I saw them. Look forward to trying others. read more
I totally did not expect for the donuts to be this good! This was the first time experiencing a good donut in the entire Tampa Bay region. The staff was as actively engaged in helping the long line move as fast as possible. This was the first time that I've waited in line for a donut. It is not all hype at all; they are legit! My coworkers were talking about how good they were, but I was not convinced. I walked up to the line and there were families in line with their children and pets laughing and chatting it up which made the atmosphere pretty cool while we all waited. I will visit again but I will go earlier to avoid the crowd. read more

Last year at the florida festival I missed this food truck for the famous amish donuts. This year I made sure I brought some home to try out and it did not disappoint. Luckily on the last day of the strawberry festival the line for this truck (they had 2 trucks) was not that long. I ordered 6 pcs of the glazed donuts to go. They did not have boxes to place the amount of donuts instead they used a brown paper bag. Keep in mind the brown paper bag will get moistened as time flies so make sure u have a plastic bag to hold up the brown bags in case u lose the donuts from dropping! Let's talk about the donuts .. OMG Delicious! They were tender soft bouncy dough donuts. Not too sweet of the glaze. I mean these were literally the best donuts I have eaten by far! They only cater through food trucks and they travel to different states to attend festivals etc - They do not have a store front as yet. I think they save money this way and gain money by doing so. I have not tried the pretzels as yet which I will try next year if I attend the strawberry festival again. I heard good things about these huge pretzels btw. These are def a good stop at the festival and I will support them again when I see them next year. read more
First time...warning NOT waistline friendly. Blow you away fresh baked donuts. Get on line (it moves fast) and pick from the day's special (snickerdoodle the day I went), or the regular glazed. These are big, albeit a bit pricey at $4, but go from the drip stand into your bag and into your mouth! They freeze well for microwave later. read more
The donut was super soft and the glaze that the put on the doughnut was delicious. This recipe was super authentic and definitely a different type of donut from what I usually have. I enjoyed it but I could only eat once since they are a pretty good size. Go give them a try! read more
