In town for my birthday, decided I wanted something sweet besides cake. Stumbled upon this little spot, the man at the stand was friendly and welcoming. We got the strawberry cheesecake, and the Bavarian donuts. First thought, I wasn't a fan of fresh HOT mini donuts in styrofoam. Not a great idea... I guess for the price... 2nd thought the toppings aren't "fresh" per say, they are squeezed from a frosting tube. I kind of was expecting like fresh strawberries, strawberry jam etc. anyways... I would give it a 3/10 it was extremely sweet, and very thick. :( was not a fan of it... however the Bavarian donuts were better, although again a little too sweet and tasted processed. I would stick to maybe the classic which is just donuts with powder sugar. read more

The donuts are fresh and hot. They cover them in sugar of your choice on the spot and give them to you in a baggy. The service usually co sista of high school surfer dudes and it's just a small store front with no outside seating really. They do have coffee, and latter drinks. Meaney's Mini Donuts is a perfect dessert after dinner in St. Armands Circle. My wife and I ventured over here Monday night. This low-key shop serves up delectable donuts in a gift shop. As you near the entrance to Meaney's, the smell of sweet fried dough draws you in. You can attempt to walk around and look at the different items for sale. You can get hats, shirts, knick-knacks, jewelry, beach toys, odds and ends and other random things. The whole time though, you'll be smelling donuts and at least for me, I couldn't focus on anything else. My wife and I looked over the options. Plenty to choose from. We went with the French toast and the Bavarian cream. 3 of each was $5. The friendly kid behind the counter took our order and then proceeded to make our donuts fresh right there. A mini donut machine, pumping out dough, dropping them in oil, flipping them and then eventually dropping them into a cooling rack. It was a neat, quick process and I enjoyed watching the donuts being made. The kid then took them fresh out of the tray and proceeded to sauce and top them with their flavorings. They were served on sticks in a tiny box. My wife and I walked out and took a seat on a bench. These were super fresh. Still hot. The French toast were dusted in cinnamon and powdered sugar and drizzled with syrup. The Bavarian Cream were topped with the sweet yellow custard and drizzled in a rich dark chocolate sauce. I could have had another order of 6 or more! Meaney's is a solid stop for dessert in St. Armands Circle. Unique and tasty. You can also get coffee, espresso and soft serve here. Check this place out! read more

What a crazy treat to find! I usually only see mini-donuts at the Minnesota State Fair, but here they are in Florida . . And a little embellished with frosting and sprinkles and cream fillings. Just for the kids of course. Ok. I might have indulged in one or two. What a cute little shop with fun souvenirs the kids loved! read more

Stopped by here every morning of our trip to get iced coffees and they never disappointed! They also came with a cute bendy straw. The shop sold mini donuts, fabulous coffee and then towards the back it had items for sale like jewelry and other knickknacks. The employees were super friendly and made sure the coffee was exactly to my liking. What a wonderful place! I have to guess this is fairly new as I don't remember it on my numerous visits to St. Armands. The display window shows all the yummy options for mini donuts. The flavor of the day was peanut butter and chocolate, which is my favorite. You get 6 mini donuts, freshly made, for $5. You can split your order into 2 flavors. I did cannoli and chocolate peanut butter. It's fun to watch them make your mini donuts and then put on the toppings you want. They are hot and have a slight crunch and are just super yummy. The store itself has other cute items for purchase and is really a great little stop if you are in the area. read more

Great tasting donuts and cheap 6 for $4! It would have been more efficient with a second person asssiting him. Long line but worth the wait.

Yummy mini donuts made fresh to order and the girls behind the counter are super sweet! The price is great especially for the location 6 mini donuts for $5 so naturally we had to try as many flavors as possible. Such a cute spot inside, looks like they support other local businesses and sell their items which I love. Was a little disappointed in the S'mores flavor it was a little too much for me. Next time I'd try French toast and cinnamon. read more

If you're looking for a quick bite to satisfy your sweet tooth while checking off your 'support local' box for 2021, look no further than Meany's Mini Donuts. This local donut shop is 1 of 2 locations near the Keys and home to made-to-order mini donuts in a wide variety of flavors including cinnamon sugar, Nutella, French Toast, and other seasonal favorites. They offer a limited assortment of other desserts including soft-serve ice cream and full-size donuts as well. Note that the mini's come in a pre-determined set of 4 and cannot be ordered individually so my suggestion is to order a few sets and split them amongst friends. read more

Great little store. Bought a pair of "Florida" sunglasses and they made me a mocha when I asked for it.

I debated way more than I usually do on if I was going to try out Meaney's. Well, I'm glad I did. I really don't know what there is to complain about, they're absolutely delicious. I got the powdered sugar, they definitely don't need to put in as much sugar as they do. read more

the "fresh squeezed" lemonade tastes like tap water. Definitely not fresh, this is false advertising.

In town on a getaway from Tampa/Clearwater. Explored the area in late morning, was greeted by three very nice people. Coffee was delicious. Skip Starbucks & hit your local coffee shop. I'll definitely have to hit them for these mini donuts one day! read more

Ice cream is my usual desert of choice, but I ended up wanting something different and both my mom and I were so surprised at how good the mini donuts were even on a hot, humid day. We were so glad we went here and couldn't stop talking about it. It was such a hidden gem! I hope it continues to do well despite the horrible storms and flooding that are affecting the area. read more

So apparently this is a new shop that opened up while I was on a trip to Sarasota. It's a cute little shop near the beach that cranks out hot fresh mini donuts from a cool looking machine. They have lots of different flavors like cheesecake, chocolate drizzle, and cinnamon. I can't really remember all the flavors but they all look delicious and the donuts are literally melt in ya mouth. I personally decided to get the cinnamon sugar one. They come for about 8 a piece for a decent price. Honestly, the only thing I would fix is that, the worker has to be aware not put too much sugar on the donut. Like don't get me wrong, I appreciate more than too little, but I literally ate like a ball of sugar. Besides that little tidbit, I'd definitely recommend this place. It's cute and a nice little pit stop while walking down the strip. read more

The young red headed boy with the long hair is the only reason i come here, he's always cracking good jokes and asks me about my day. The donuts always taste better when he makes them. The mini donuts come at the prices for 6 donuts for $4, 12 for $5, and 19 for $6. Obviously we know what deal this olace is pushing. Some of the best donuts I've ever had, if not the best!! These little donut holes have the perfect crispy outside and melt in your mouth. They're almost like little funnel cake bites. We got the strawberry cheesecake (YUM) and the powdered. They have many other flavors so I'm sure we will be hitting the little stand again before we go home. Absolutely worth the visit when in Siesta Key. read more

The mini donuts were so good (especially the French toast ones as recommended by the cashier). I also loved my iced latte with almond milk.

If you're visiting Sarasota/Siesta Key, you need to stop by Meaney's mini donuts! They are mini donuts that are served hot in several different flavors. We tried the cinnamon sugar, French toast and strawberry cheesecake and they were all phenomenal! I could eat these donuts every day. Like someone else mentioned, they reminded me a lot of mini funnel cakes. Highly recommend for breakfast or just an indulgent dessert! read more
